“Great coffee, quick, friendly staff, cool decor, really slick looking espresso machine. A little crowded but well-managed. I talked to the barista about his job and I could tell he really takes pride in his work. I got a perfect Americano. They roast in-house. This is the micro brewery of cafe's. The pic is a cool light I saw in there.“

“Nestled in a neighborhood that’s on the cusp of transformation, Caphe Roasters stands out not just for its location but for the unique perspective its AAPI owners bring to the café culture. Despite the area’s rough-around-the-edges feel, safety has never been a concern for me, and the slight challenge of street parking is a small price to pay for the exceptional experience within. The café itself is a testament to thoughtful design, with natural lighting that enhances its welcoming ambiance. The ever-changing menu is a hallmark of the owners’ commitment to culinary innovation, offering new delights that keep regulars like myself eagerly anticipating our next visit. This time, the menu was nothing short of remarkable. Chef Kevin’s ‘Homẹcoming’ dish was a flavorful homage to Louisiana, combining red beans, andouille sausage, and a crispy fried chicken thigh over jasmine rice. The ‘Gritty Khang Sando’ on a Ba Le baguette, the ‘Boricha Affogato Parfait,’ the ‘Pomegranate Matcha Iced,’ and the ‘Salted Brûlée Cà Phê Iced’ each offered a unique taste experience, showcasing the café’s flair for creativity.Choosing Ba Le bread for their sandwiches underlines Caphe Roasters’ focus on quality and nods to the cultural influences that enrich their offerings. The café’s popularity is evident, with its Wi-Fi and cozy corners attracting a crowd eager to work or relax, yet it retains a warm and inviting atmosphere, thanks in large part to the exceptionally friendly staff and the intriguing sight of coffee beans being roasted on-site.Caphe Roasters is more than a café; it’s a testament to how diversity and passion can create a vibrant community hub. Whether it’s the specialty coffee, the innovative menu, or the lively yet cozy vibe, this café offers a rich, memorable experience that goes beyond the average coffee shop visit. For those who appreciate the blend of coffee, culture, and craftsmanship, Caphe Roasters is a must-visit, proving that great experiences often await in the most unexpected places.Vegetarian options: BÀ NGOẠI’S PORRIDGE (GF) (VEGAN)6/10This dish is a play on the Vietnamese pumpkin soup, canh bí đỏ. “Just a fantastic place that epitomizes Philly's quaint vibe (in a good way) pretty well. Excellent coffee, high quality beans, great location, and the owners are very friendly. Nook is also one of those place where you can find coffee/beans from Yemen, which is tragically very rare these days.Highly recommended!“

“I work right down the street from Top Hat and when I'm craving a crafted beverage: its SUCH a good choice. It recently had a Vanilla Nitro Cold Brew on special that was just the perfect blend of sweetness, smooth Nitro, and crispness. I would drink iced coffee any day of the week, and I would drink this one in particular every day. I've had the ballsy goat waffle on other trips and its the perfect blend of sweet and savory: balsamic reduction, goat cheese, strawberries: it sounds unusual but its honestly just the right balance. I really want to try more of their items. I will note: they are not cheap. But I think the quality and attention to detail is worth it.“

“Exceptional coffee shop if you like real coffee. Ordered a coffee just before they closed and they didn’t have anything on drip ready or fresh but had made plenty for a previous pour over and got some of their treehouse blend. Fantastic. I buy their beans online. Also highly recommend. They have some incredible tasting notes. Also very comfortable space at the time I went, not overcrowded or loud.“

“I'm starting to love this coffee shop! The drinks are consistently delicious (be sure to try their lavender rose latte), the service is fast, and the Wi-Fi doess what WiFi needs to do. I've honestly never had anything bad on the menu, so go nuts trying things. They won't warm up their pastries, FYI, in case that's a deal breaker for you. This is very understandable if you're in there when they're even a little busy, however - it would murder the workflow and make wait times a pain. This is a small but very popular shop in the middle of a high traffic neighborhood with an elementary school around the corner, so if you're trying to hunker down and have a whole work day, for your own sake, and the sake of the neighborhood, go somewhere else. It's a good spot for a coffee meeting, or an hour or two of work, though. Peak times are early to midday in general, but especially on the weekends, as with most coffee shops.Kid-friendliness: I'd call this place quite kid friendly - there are often little ones waiting outside, in carriers with parents, or sitting with treats. When it's busy inside, I could see it being overwhelming for an anxious kid, though, so be advised. The atmosphere is generally quiet and friendly, with plenty of young families and middle aged professionals with older children. You're not going to see a lot of teens here usually.“

“No roast dates on coffee beans. Almost didn’t buy them, but I’m glad I did. I was skeptical that they would be fresh, but they were bubbling and fizzing in my V60. Might’ve just gotten lucky, but as probability dictates, probably not. No, Ox likely sells fresh beans. So then why not list the dates? You already list origin, altitude, varietal, and process. Dates are important and this company is at the caliber to add them.Americano was good, espresso was good, drip coffee was good. The folks behind the counter didn’t seem pretentious. Shop has a nice vibe, but is not wheelchair accessible.Overall I’m giving an A- and I will be back next time my proximity in space-time is near.“

“Given the number of various establishments at this location that have come and gone over the last few decades, the fact that Vibrant has now been here well over two years speaks for itself. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood was relatively coffee-free for years, and thankfully several places have popped up recently. This is the best of the lot. Coffees and baked goods are consistently excellent. Baristas are usually pleasant. Unless money isn’t a concern for you, however, be advised that a regular plain coffee is around $4, and prices go up from there, so Vibrant is not the best place to frequent often. The space itself is pretty tiny, there’s no real room to sit inside, which leads to lines out the door every weekend morning and when there’s an event going on in the Square. There are some small tables outside the entrance on Locust Street. That’s it, so by necessity business is mostly takeout. Worth it for an occasional treat/splurge.“
