“The food and drinks were good, and the bread basket is totally worth it, especially if you’re sharing with others. Our server was nice, attentive, and welcoming, and she was the best part of the visit. She gave good recommendations, and checked in on us frequently. The restaurant also played a good selection of music which gave it a nice vibe. I wish they put on their physicaly menus that the meat is halal. They have this stated on their website, but not on the physical menu so some of our party was not aware. This would have been a 5-star visit had it not been for the seating arrangement and for what happened at the end of the visit. To give some context, we made a reservation in advance for our party, and you would think that for an advance reservation they would take care with the seating. I was not satisfied with where we were seated - our table and seats were cramped, and there was a table right next to us that could accommodate us better. Our table felt really enclosed, practically holed between 3 sides of walls. We thought the table next to us was perhaps booked for another party and that is why they didn’t seat us there. No. We were wrong. For the entire duration, no one was seated at the table next to us, so I don’t understand why we couldn’t sit there. We would have been more comfortable there. Oh well, nice to know for next time.At the end of our dinner, we had given the server our cards to pay for the check, and while we were waiting for our cards, a guy came over (probably the manager), and basically was ushering us out. Although he was being polite about it, it still soured the taste because of course we will leave after we get our cards back. Shouldn’t he have checked with the server about the status of the table before coming to us and tell us that they need to clean the table for the next group and we need to leave? He said it more diplomatically, but basically using the same words here. It left us a bit shocked because we were ready to leave, just waiting for our cards.“
“Do not sleep on this spot. Easily some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Both vegetarian and meat options were great. Wish I lived in Philly so I could go more often. We ate inside and the owner and his daughter were both soooo nice. Also BYO and the rice pudding was delicious. Can’t wait to visit again.“
“Walking in, looks like a normal Indian restaurant with the exception of buffet tables. Sitting down, Minnue (our waitress), offered us tap or bottled water. She also made sure to carefully monitor our needs like refilling our water or teas or replacing utensils and plates. She took our orders after explaining our questions on the menu and she even delivered our food in order (appetizer to dishes to desserts). This is so unlike most Indian restaurants that deliver as soon as it's made. This restaurant's spice level matches what south asians can relate to. Medium would be too hot for average Americans and extra spicy would probably be toxic. We ordered medium spice for most of the dishes. Out of the many dishes that were ordered, my favorites include Samosa Chat, Andhra Chicken Kura, and Pista Phimi. Samosa Chat had a kick to it without overwhelming the rest of it's delicious flavors. The Andura Chicken Kura was tangy and succulent. The curry went well with provided rice. The Pista Phimi tasted like a combination of crushed pistachios and condensed milk. Wasn't overly sweet yet every bite was a delight. Definitely in my top 5 desserts ever! This restaurant gives even the best Edison restaurants a run for their money.“
“I couldn't speak more highly of Inde Blue. I’ve been a patron of this restaurant for many years at all of their locations and was so excited when they came back to NJ. They have remained consistent in the quality of their food options. My husband and I will continue to frequent them for many years to come.“
“My partner and I go to Indian food all the time and always get our usuals (biryani, chicken tikka/vindaloo, etc). Although the menu was overwhelming at first, Amma’s offered a different niche of Indian food. We could tell they catered to more South Indian cuisine and we decided to go for it - we got the non veg platter, the onion pakora (this we always get!), and the dosa. The non veg platter was delicious, with unlimited refills! Service was speedy and very attentive. Our server, Tejaswi, was very informative, even telling us which dishes to pack together to preserve their quality! All in all, we had a lovely meal at Amma’s and can’t wait to return to try some more of their extensive menu.“
“The food is always a step ahead. Even when you have no idea of what you ordered, rest assured, your meal will be 1st class. Nice waiter, very kind and considerate. What his language skills were lacking, he more than made up in his attention to detail, making sure you had napkins, water, utensils with a conciliatory quaint demeanor.Come with an appetite and leave sated. Also caters toward vegan and vegetarians ?❤️ and the basics, fork knives, place setting, ? ??????Vegetarian options: They are there. Best ask for a little assistance ?Dietary restrictions: No daory.“
“this is a wonderful place to go and enjoy a terrific meal with yourself to just get out or with your family you will not be disappointed the portions are very large tasty and authentic cuisine. friendly staff and a clean and peaceful environment enjoy yourself go and try for yourself you'll not regret it.“
“This place is absolutely delicious! This is my second time here and I am still blown away with how good everything was. My favorite was the cilantro chicken, and it was the most tender and buttery pieces of chicken I've ever had. I really recommend this place and I can't wait to come back and try more. They have so many options here and everything I've had here was very good.“
“Absolutely amazing food, flavorful, and plentiful. Stunned that my wife and I were able to order from DoorDash and decided to give it a shot. I have food allergies, so finding a place that’s safe to get delivery from is tough, but here—no problems. We were extremely happy with our dishes (lamb platter/chicken platter) and look forward to ordering again when we go back to Philadelphia—maybe next time going to the truck in person!“
“AMAZING family owned authentic Indian!! We cant find too many authentic Indian places in South Jersey but thats okay because Nimit is all you need. We LOVE this place. Always easy to order and get to go. Friendly staff. The guy who always runs the phone even knows our orders and gives us extra sides when we get to go. VERY delicious. Nimit will not let you down.“
“Ordered the butter chicken and naan for an early dinner. The food was wonderful and the restaurant itself is very cozy in a sweet neighborhood in South Philly. The service was friendly, quick, and kind. I will definitely come back when I’m in Philly!“
“Wow I was in the mood for Indian food my my my I googled and found I rode right by the stand but bets believe I bust a u turn I got the butter chicken combo for $9 and a piece of garlic naan I must say that u turn was worth it and there was other first time customers out there they googled the best Indian food in the area boom ?there it was I will be going back with my husband he loves lamb since I don’t eat spicy Nafi made my order fresh to order very polite awesome customer service friendly environment reasonable prices and nice big portions he also takes Venmo, Apple Pay ,Cash app I would highly recommend this business for the the best Indian food truck very tender chicken if I could give 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I would thanks Nafi for your service I will be spreading the word?️?️?️?️?️“
“My fiance and I had a quick lunch here and it was phenomenal. The food was perfect and the service was top notch. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. Although they are attached to the mall they deserve their own stand alone restaurant.“
“Been going here lately and must say that their food is amazing! I love the butter, spicy tikka masala, and karahi ?Only critique i would give is i feel there should be more pieces of chicken in these dishes (not sure if dining in vs takeout makes a difference).“
“We ordered Saoji and had an amazing experience. The initial order that they shipped was delayed due to weather conditions but the management was kind enough to ship a replacement with overnight delivery. Our food reached us in time. The food no doubt was superb.“
“We ordered the vegetable momo, and sheated several vegitarian entrees. All of the food we ordered came out surprisingly quickly, and was fantastic. Everything was packed with flavor. It was our first time here, and while I love spicy food - you never know what to expect when you visit somewhere new. We ordered our dishes medium heat/spice level, and it was perfect. There was a little bit of heat, but deeply flavorful heat. We'll definitely be back, and next time we'll try different dishes and test out their spicy heat.Vegetarian options: A large vegitarian selection of appetizers, soups, noddles, and vegitarian entrees.“
“Best Authentic Indian food in south jersey! Owner and staff takes special care of every guest. Impressed with their customer service. They go beyond their menu to make special food items and mocktails for their guests. Will highly recommend them!“
“Super friendly and amazing stuff. Loved the food and the taste. Lived up to my hype and hope of the Indian foodd I was craving.Good variety of options and ideal for any time of the day.Definitely try the Veg Halka Noodles, Jini Dosa, and Momos hands down the best dish. You can find lots of Vegetarian Dishes. Also You can like there pastries and Cake.Vegetarian options: You can also try Samosa Chat as well.“
“We've only gotten takeout (haven't dined in yet), but their food is fantastic, and it's always ready for pickup so quickly after we call our order in! Great portions, delicious flavors, so many vegetarian options - this is my favorite Indian restaurant by far. Highly recommend!“
“I used to love their genuine Indian chai, but I'm not sure why they recently changed the recipe. The new chai doesn't come close to the authentic Indian flavor. However, their Kathi rolls are still great, and the service is good too! I really hope they bring back the old chai.“
“If you are all about traditional cheesesteaks and pizza... Then you are seriously missing out on two of the best dishes in Philly! The chicken cheesesteak with Indian spices is fantastic! So then I tried the Paneer pizza. That too was an amazing taste experience. The food fusion being done at the place is perfection. An absolute must try and a great introduction to Indian food in a way that is familiar to the less adventurous eaters.“
“Great variety of vegetarian options for a good price if you know what to order! We've ordered delivery and also dined in. The restaurant is comfortable, and the owner is very kind and attentive. This is another one of our favorite Indian restaurants! If you're vegetarian, you might want to consider ordering their dal makhani, malai kofta, and/or mango lassi.Vegetarian options: Ekta has over 15 vegetarian options and some vegan as well.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian, vegan, and options for those who suffer from different allergies.Kid-friendliness: If you bring your child, they have a ramp for strollers and high chairs for toddlers.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp for wheelchairs and strollers in the front of the restaurant.“
“I love the vibrant colors inside the restaurant and has great seatings and there food was absolutely delicious and it is authentic Indian dish you can ever want and I recommend to also try there beverage called Lassi I never had anything like that drink before and it's delicious and it also good to cool your mouth if you got yourself a spicy dish from them. They also have vegetarian choice which is also good if you don't like to eat meat.“
“We went there for dinner at around 7:30 pm and we asked them if their food is spicy, they said, it’s mild but they can make it spicy. They served the food with so much love and care that we never felt that we are eating at a restaurant. We would surely go there as a family. Wonderful service and sumptuous food. “
“For the past few years I have been dining in Tiffin Cherry Hill every week or two, when in NJ for work. I keep coming back for more. The menu is extensive enough and they will also be very happy to accommodate any additional request within reason. You can mix and match curries and protein or enjoy many different vegetarian options. I probably had everything on the menu, at this point, and was never disappointed.Service is very attentive and kind. They are always happy to see me and suggest new things to try.The place is not fancy, by any means, but always welcoming.I can highly recommend it.Vegetarian options: Many Indian legume and vegetable options.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access. Street level.“
“Indian restaurant that lives up to expectations. A bit difficult to find the restaurant if you are not from here. Good and classic dishes on the menu. Large portions that are also enough for the lunchbox the next day. Fast and pleasant service from the staff who gave good recommendations. Would love to go here again!“
“Cross-Cultures in Haddonfield offers a delightful fusion of flavors from various cuisines. The garlic naan, with its generous portions and perfect for spreading mango chutney, sets a promising start. The veggie app for two, featuring samosas, parokas, and papadams, impresses with its plentiful serving and delectable lightly fried goodness. The Navaratan Korma, creamy with plenty of veggies and bold spices, serves as a satisfying main dish when paired with rice and naan.Overall, the restaurant impresses with nicely packed dishes, generous portions, delicious flavors, and efficient service.“
“Went to this place couple of weeks ago for lunch. They have a great selection of Indian street food which is hard to find outside Jersey City and Edison area. Prices are reasonable. While we were there, tried ulta vada pav, raj kachori and Mexican pizza, all of which tasted really good. I also recommend trying some of their mocktails, especially the guava one. Owner was there during our visit and he was very welcoming and down to earth. Would definitely visit again to try other menu items.“
“I highly recommend. We were greeted at the door by the young lady. We ordered our food and then seated. When I say the food was fresh. The food was made to order. The taste of the entrees left us speechless in a good way. The garlic naan was perfect. The chicken Tikka Masala was full of flavor in every bite. The chicken vindaloo was spicy as I requested and all very tasteful in every bite. If you want good food stop by this place. We will definitely be visiting again.“
“Was walking past this place last Friday with a friend and decided to go today and try out the food. I’ve never tried Indian halal street food before and honestly, it’s the best thing I’ve had within the vicinity of campus.I was greeted by Dev he took our order totalling up to ~$14.85 with taxes, a tip and a 75 cent charge on all credit and debit cards. About 5-7 minutes later the food was ready. I tried the chicken tikka massala with a lot of white rice and a piece of naan bread. The pieces of chicken tikka was so delicious that it worked well with the sauce and the rice.I will definitely tell my friends about this hidden gem and will be back for more!“
“Really enjoyed my food on the menu! The veg eggplant curry it was great! Super excited to find a good Indian place on my work trip. Service is immaculate. | | Recommended dishesThanal special goat curry and Chettinad chickenRecommendation for vegetariansPudhina paneer tikka, Saag paneerVegetarian offeringsVariety of food choices“
“They have special southern Indian dishes that I enjoy and put it in a different level. I had tried its non veg platter. Choices of protein is chicken or goat. I think it is tasty and makes the Indian style dining great. The dosa looks good and that I will come back and try. The air conditioner is not on good temp. I was sweating a lot while eating this spicy food. Masala tea is good but $5 a very small cup...worthy it?? I probably won't order it again.“
“My parents brought me here while I was visiting from out of town. The food was delicious and they had an impressive number of dessert options (I tried the masala chai ice cream and it was wonderful — the ginger and other spices were very fresh). The staff here treat my elderly parents like family and we were greeted and served with a lot of warmth. They provided us with fresh rice to take home along with our leftovers. I hope to return.“
“We’re craving Indian food and this place was delicious. Good portion of food, and very flavorful. The two guys at the counter were very nice as well. Nothing bad to say about this place. The food can get spicy if you order even moderate but I love spice, part of why we order Indian food! Delicious place and we have leftovers.“
“Would love to share my experience at Mama’s Kitchen NJ , I must say, the parathas they served were absolutely delightful! From the moment they arrived at the table, the aroma was irresistible. The parathas were cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. What truly set these parathas apart was their filling. They offered a variety of options, from classic potato and onion to more exotic choices like paneer and spinach. I decided to try the paneer paratha, and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. The paneer was fresh and seasoned perfectly, blending seamlessly with the flaky layers of the paratha. The accompaniments were just as impressive. A side of yogurt and pickle complemented the parathas beautifully, adding a tangy and spicy contrast to the savory goodness of the dish. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying meal on its own.The service was impeccable, with the parathas arriving hot and fresh within a reasonable time. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.Overall, I can't recommend these parathas enough. They were a true culinary delight, and I will definitely be returning to savor them again. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit for their exceptional parathas!“
“Tiffin has been our go-to for Indian delivery for years. They have good specials, the drivers are super, and they seem really to care to know how the food was. And the food is great -- Kerala Pepper is one of our faves, and their chana masala is better than everyone's.“
“I enjoyed the food and the service, 10/10! I had the paneer tikka and omg it was the best paneer I’ve ever had in my life. Looks cozy inside, and they are always playing good music. The service is 10/10. The quality of the food is worth the price.“
