Was always told by friends that this place was worth the 50 min drive , so we gathered up some friends and decided to try it out. Pulling up it's tucked away in a not so desirable part of town but the property is well maintained and sticks out like a sore thumb. This was my first visit to The Shipyard. The layout was fun: beach area, fire pits, ping pong, and corn hole games. We sat in the bar area to watch football and to enjoy the beer selection. There were a wide variety of patrons - singles, families, and pets - great vibe! I look forward to going back again in the spring.

The atmosphere was amazing. Quick Service good food. But however the band they had the night I was there was a girl on a piano and a dude on a guitar. Labor Day weekend. Probably the worst band I've ever seen. I literally could have fell asleep. That's the only reason why I gave it four stars. Other than that it was
