“Was always told by friends that this place was worth the 50 min drive , so we gathered up some friends and decided to try it out. Pulling up it's tucked away in a not so desirable part of town but the property is well maintained and sticks out like a sore thumb. Entering the grounds you're met with large firepits and a nice view of the water, making our way into the indoor seating area it's all metal shipping containers, there's a bar and you order your food from an online site and your number comes up and you pick up your food. The service seemed fine, there's wasn't a whole lot of interaction with servicers besides picking up food and walking to the bar for drinks but it was fine no issues there. The food was good, we all basically ordered most of the menu and all kinda of picked from what we wanted, It is however pretty expensive. You can reserve fire pits I believe it was $200 for 4 hrs, my buddy handled that and I can't remember what he said. At the end of the day we had a great time, we played cornhole and watched the boats go by complete with a nice sunset. We will return however it is to far for us to become regulars.“

“We held a private event at Torbert and it was a hit! Jessica was easy to work with and very accommodating during planning. Everyone loved the space and the drinks. We did a combo of food from their regular menu and options from their sister restaurants and it was all delicious! The cost was very comparable to buying out other local spots but our group enjoyed this space more than places we've gone to in the past.“

We have our favorites but there's usually something new and delicious to try. Disappointed but ready for dinner (starting at 5 pm), we waited eagerly for the doors to open.Upon entering, we were promptly seated and warmly welcomed by Ariana and our server, Sam. Their attentiveness and friendliness immediately impressed us. When I mentioned the lack of a microwave in the room and my desire for the roasted chicken, Sam surprised me by offering to have maintenance bring one! This blew me away, and I happily accepted her offer. My husband, Dr. Angel, opted for the cheeseburger. Both portions were generous, and we couldn't finish them all.The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious in-room breakfast. This Thanksgiving getaway was the perfect blend of relaxation, planning for future business ventures, and indulging in delicious food. While our room and the hotel was very dated, the staff, particularly Sam, were exceptional and made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely be returning to The Westin in the future!“

“First time here recommended by a friend. It was raining so we couldn't sit outside but we're very comfortable inside. Cute place, historic. First tavern in Delaware.Our server Sara was sweet and attentive. I was hoping for traditional Irish food but it's mainly bar food. I was pleasantly surprised. Our drinks were great.We had Philly rolls, delicious. Onion rings, delicious. For entree I had fish and chips, incredible,! Hubby had the John D burger, fresh and tasty, did not need any condiments. The fries were especially delicious, skin on and seasoned perfectly. I will definitely be back with friends.I wish they had dessert.“

“My sister and Fiancé usually go Suite 4 Eleven for date night. One particular Saturday she asked me to go with them so they could see if this would be a great place to hold their after party for the wedding. Needless to say we will be booking a section in September for after the wedding. This is our new hangout spot. The DJ,food,hookah and professionalism of the staff is what absolutely sold it for us!“

“My wife and I went there for our 33rd anniversary and happened to hit the end of restaurant week. Not only was the food excellent, but it was extremely reasonably priced. We had salads which were both great, our steaks were perfectly cooked, very tasty, and significant sizes, and the desserts were awesome. Great coffee, a nice bottle of California sparkling wine and some very nice Australian Shiraz which we took most of home, rounded out the evening. We will go back. “Disappointed. The ambiance wasn't there. Why do you ask ahead if we're celebrating anything? You don't acknowledge it anymore. You used to. It was our anniversary- which I mentioned on reservations. Not even a nod of acknowledgement. The fried calamari were overly overly salty and soggy. And how about a serving spoon for the tuna togarashi? The pieces are pretty small to scoop with a fork. The scallops were magnificent. As was the halibut. We got decaf cappuccino. My husband wanted decaf coffee but you didn't have any - what??? One of us asked for sugar for our cappuccino. The waiter - don't know name cause didn't introduce himself- said “you want sugar with your cappuccino????” Like he was appalled. Not the romantic place we used to go to.“

“My husband and I are fortunate to be able to visit and eat in a lot of different cities, and when we're in Wilmington we go to Le Cav ... we have never been disappointed. Delicious food and cocktails, very good service, beautiful space. It's pricy but worth it. If you are in a rush, don't go. (I've seen mention about the valet, etc. in other posts ... keep in mind that the restaurant is attached to a hotel so the valet, bathrooms, etc. could quite possibly be the responsibility of the hotel and not the restaurant.)“
