“We got food from them the other day and everyone in my family loved it. We ordered margarita pizza and my kids said it was the best they ever had. The baked manicotti was really good. The broccoli and cheese calzone was amazing, especially when dipped into the sauce. The Mac and cheese balls were delicious. The fries for me were a little too salty, but everyone else said they tasted really good. Can’t wait to be in their area again so we can order more food from them.”

“lunch specials are good value $13 for 6 wings, fries, cole slaw & a pickled side all tasted fresh and well seasoned, we liked the spicy garlic soy wings crunchy and savory but more sauce would be better. the chicken sandwich is very filling and tasty. small with few tables, only 1 staff handling the whole place and very unfriendly.”

With an assorted buffet menu and a live band, our members had a memorable evening in the private room of Tavern 73. The cash bar was very busy, and people raved about the food as they left this 4-hour event. Special thanks to Kaya and Gail for the excellent job they did to help to organize and execute this event. “Flew in for a work trip this week and we decided to order Gencarelli's Pine Brook last minute through UberEats. I took these photos midway through the meal. Being a vegetarian, and without seeing clear labeling on their menu, I called the restaurant ahead of time to find out what was safe to order. The guy I chatted with (possibly the Manager, Walter?) was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure he got me the right info for dishes, and communicated with the cook after we ordered to avoid any mix-ups. All of the food (cheese ravioli with parmesan, garlic sauteed spinach, beet salad, plain rolls) was fresh and the quality was exceptional. Portions were large and I was able to eat on them for a couple days. The plain cheesecake was literally the best I've ever had in my life. 🙌 I'm still dreaming about it and wish I could have it shipped to TX. I definitely recommend Gencarelli's Pine Brook for a delicious night out or even a relaxing night in. Can't wait for my next visit to NJ!”

All of the appetizers we had were excellent but the fried zucchini was amazing. The only negative was we were here for longer than I had hoped for but that's not a deal breaker for me. “First time stopping in. The food was great. And the price was very reasonable. The place has great atmosphere, clean & so much to choose from. Staff was super friendly. Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!”

“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.”

“This place is a hidden gem! The eggplant and burrata was delicious and a great way to start our meal. From there we moved to the grilled octopus and the scallops. This was by far the best seafood I’ve had. It was very well cooked, very well seasoned and everything in the plate complemented one another. Billy, our server, made us feel welcomed and recommended the best dessert. We will be coming here again.”
