“First timer here and was awesome. Walked in to a clean cozy restaurant plenty of seating. Ordered me some boneless wings with white snow (sweet Parmesan cheese from what I’m told) hot and fresh. Fries were cooked just right. Ordered a refresher bubble tea (green tea strawberry flavoring and strawberry ) ordered some boned wings as well. All cooked to perfection. Service was fast. Very clean as well. DEFINITELY coming back….. almost forgot the beef dumplings… awesome !!!!”

“Too bad I live out of state because this is my FAVORITE restaurant in NJ. Wonderful staff and food. Not as noisy as other places because of the decor/layout. The prices seem a little high but when you can't even finish your food - that's a good deal. The menu is phenomenal. If you can't find something to eat here then you are insane.”

“Flew in for a work trip this week and we decided to order Gencarelli's Pine Brook last minute through UberEats. I took these photos midway through the meal. Being a vegetarian, and without seeing clear labeling on their menu, I called the restaurant ahead of time to find out what was safe to order. The guy I chatted with (possibly the Manager, Walter?) was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure he got me the right info for dishes, and communicated with the cook after we ordered to avoid any mix-ups. All of the food (cheese ravioli with parmesan, garlic sauteed spinach, beet salad, plain rolls) was fresh and the quality was exceptional. Portions were large and I was able to eat on them for a couple days. The plain cheesecake was literally the best I've ever had in my life. 🙌 I'm still dreaming about it and wish I could have it shipped to TX. I definitely recommend Gencarelli's Pine Brook for a delicious night out or even a relaxing night in. Can't wait for my next visit to NJ!”

I always seem to look away when the order number quickly pops up and then I never know which order is mine when they call out numbers. very preventable cinfusion and would make order pickup much easier for kiosk customers. thank you. check this place out.”

“Been a while since we went to Axton’s, but my wife and I will be celebrating 30 years this week, we thought we’d start with a fine dinner WTH Chef Anton. Early on a Sunday during the summer was far from their busy time, so we had a chance to chat. For starters, we shared an apple mango salad. Shame on me for not reading the menu. The dressing is apple mango. Home made! I was looking for mango in the salad. Apple, craisins, two kinds of cheese…. Perfect for a hot July day. My wife ordered the shrimp marinara over spinach instead of pasta. Delicious and even more impressive was that the shrimp had their tails removed. A great touch. The piece de resistance was my scallop special. Scallops topped with Crabcake coating topped with bacon. Served over a bed of spinach with cherry tomatoes and more. My wife called it spectacular. I thought it was a taste of heaven. Couldn’t figure out one taste in the sauce. Originally thought mango, but there was none in the salad. Had to ask if it was peach? Mango was the winner. The dish was a bigger winner!”

“First time stopping in. The food was great. And the price was very reasonable. The place has great atmosphere, clean & so much to choose from. Staff was super friendly. Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!”

“This hidden gem is cozy and delicious. The servers welcome you like family, to a tucked-away, intimate dining space. Service is both smooth and friendly. The spanakopita are melt in your mouth delicious, and the varied color of the black and white sesame seeds on top offered a nice contrast and a good crunch. The hummus is fresh and creamy, while the capers and olives on top offer a wonderful zing. Served with warm, fresh pita…yum. The grilled halloumi with apricot jam and toasted walnuts is not to be missed. The zucchini chips are thinly sliced and lightly battered, and cooked to perfection. They melt in your mouth. We love to order a fresh and zesty salad, with lemon and dill and crumbled feta in great balance. They make a great side of perfectly crisp falafel to go with it. The burrata salad is also outstanding, with fresh arugula, toasted pine nuts, and a delicious balsamic glaze to finish it off. My kids love the Greek fries with feta. Don’t miss the homemade baklava ice cream, or the bougatsa, a flaky baked custard, for a tasty finish to the meal. This restaurant is such a find. They treat you to caring service and consistently excellent food. They really care about the experience they create for their patrons. This is a hidden gem.”

“Nice food and good customer service, only parking is hard to find.Had dinner food quality and quantity both were good.Resturant is small in size and has only 4 booth that I have seen.Nice and warm atmosphere inside. Open sitting arrangement outside as well. If all 4 booths are occupied then you have to wait and waiting area has only 1 couple seat, more than 2 persons have to wait outside.”

“New to town. Checking out falafel in the area. Came upon The falafel guy on my walk home from YMCA. A small mostly take out joint with Mousa, the master, running the show. Don’t expect the fastest service because everything is made to order. Falafel was top notch. While you’re waiting, don’t be surprised if Mousa offers you a small cup of the soup he’s cooking for the day. His lentil soup was spiced just right and delicious. Prices are reasonable as well!”
