Solo Pot is one of the small dining establishments located in Asian Food Market in Plainsboro. You can order with a person at the counter, or on their tablet to the side. It's convenient to place an order here, then go into the supermarket to buy groceries as the food is being prepared, and then come back out to pick it up. Hot pot is an essential part of Chinese food. While Solo Pot may not be the exact same, it provides an unique taste on an ageless classic. I came here with one of my friends one fateful afternoon AFTER (not before) he experienced mild stomach discomfort. Discovered this hidden gem. If you are looking for a unique quality experience with Chinese food this is the an amazing food place. Tried them out two days ago by ordering their Dry Chicken dish. Be careful as it has bones but it was unbelievably delicious, a flavor and texture that was so unique. So the next day we got their liver, fish and a soup. Simply delicious.
