First time and perfect. I highly recommend Mugsy's for hand crafted sandwiches, soups, and juices. I had the Steakhouse Melt, Turkey Shawarma, and a Purple Rain juice. I also tried the spinach and artichoke dip soup. I'm going back as soon as I get a chance. It was all delicious ladies. Thank you.Vegetarian options: Options were explained immediatelyDietary restrictions: Gluten free options were offered before I even ordered

My wife and I just discovered this gem of an eatery and will not go anywhere else for lunch in Point Pleasant. This weekend had Meg’s Thai lobster bisque and Ban Mi sandwich. The flavors are perfectly balanced and ingredients are fresh and alive. Even the chicken salad was great! Can’t wait for next Tuesday when she surprises us all with her inventive menu!Staff is as amazing as the food.So glad you are here!!!

I just came back from an amazing lunch with my mother. The service was perfect. The food was even more perfect, every single thing about what we ate was a 10 We had the most wonderful day, and I am so thankful to Mugsy's for providing that for us Thank you! Fo those of you who are wondering, we had the pumpkin bisque, which was amazing, the Caesar salad, which was also ridiculously amazing, I had the chicken salad sandwich that I loved, and my mother had the wild salmon wrap. For dessert, we had the chef's bread pudding, and the brownie. The brownie I had with the pomegranate gelato was mind scrambling good. Do yourself a favor, and get there ASAP!

Normally I avoid restaurants that specialize in organic, sustainable, locally sourced blah blah blah. Just wash the veggies. No taste difference. Read the Hoover Institute's article on the organic food hoax. It's eye opening. My gluten sensitive mother-in-law however, wanted to sample Mugsy's G free menu. Mugsy's is small with one table, some stools and a small TV showing a loop of Julia Child's TV show. Nostalgic. A "Women owned" sign hangs on the door. Why? Would it change a decision either way? A sign like that connotes victimhood and identity politics. As HP CEO Carly Fiorino once said, "We shouldn't be treated as a special interest group". That said, the woman serving us was super nice and super busy. Both of us were doing the 3-course restaurant week lunch for $20.23. My pumpkin bisque was outstanding as was the GF chicken noodle soup. Interesting, Julia Child popularized bisque. The chicken salad sandwich didn't come on GF bread. Our server offered to put it in a GF wrap but as many of us know, tortillas are half cooked and taste terrible! Ever eat one right out of the package? It's gross. Toasting helps somewhat. And, as Jim Gaffigan says." Rolling up your food, does not make it healthier." Scooped on the plate, it was very good. My nice sized Turkey sandwich was tasteless, and I don't know why. It had all the things I like on it. Swiss, avocado, ranch, red onion, tomatoes, lettuce on toasted sourdough. I think they forgot to toast the bread. Our deserts were just OK. The cookie under the ala mode was so hard I couldn't break it up with my spoon. The gelato was flavorful but had hard icy raspberry parts in it. The GF brownie was good but with the same icy gelato on top. We asked for the check and none came. She instead told us our total was $49.50. In the back of my mind I thought we were overcharged since we had only water, no substitutions and the printed price was $20.23. Should have been $40.46 before tax. My mother-in-law was having a stomach issue which hurried things, but I'm mad at myself for allowing us to be overcharged and paying in cash. Sure, hope they're declaring their income. An $8.50 tip and we just spent 56 bucks for lunch. My mother-in-law will stick with the Beanery. Also owned by a nice lady.

We had an amazing experience at Mugsy’s and will surely be back regularly. We went in for lunch during a particularly busy restaurant tour day and not only had the most amazing meal (Turkey Big Mac) is to die for, but we were able to get lots of options to bring home for the week. On top of that they were so kind to my kids (4 and 2) who also thoroughly enjoyed their food. They gave them markers and paper to draw while we ate and gave us samples of their daily soup and some bone broth. This will be a regular destination for a great meal and our weekly food prep! Tons of healthy, organic, vegan and gluten free options!! It is a must visit!!Vegetarian options: Lots of great healthy vegetarian o optionsDietary restrictions: Lots of options for different dietsKid-friendliness: They were kind and engaged my kids
