I have been going to the Beanery since the beginning, many moons ago. The food is always delicious however gluten free options are inconsistent- sometimes they have wraps, sometimes they don’t. I’m allergic to yeast as well as wheat so that is more of a challenge for me. The staff can really give you the feeling like they don’t really care whether you’re there or not. Middle of the week visit, several weeks ago, we waited for 15 minutes before anyone said a word or acknowledged us even as the servers passed us without eye contact. (No tables available). Once a table was cleaned, we sat and waited another 20 minutes but no one came to take our order and finally we got up and walked out - 35 minutes without even placing an order. We went next door and had lunch in minutes. We’re locals at work, not on vacation. The food is always good when you can get it but the service is definitely not what it was. (I miss the Toni years).

Just had the best chicken salad wrap of my life the cinnamon and apples were so good in it and yes, you get the wrap get honey mustard on the side so good.

It's a shame that the experience was so disappointing today because the food was actually delicious. We sat down and our server must have been having a difficult time because we were immediately met with an attitude, drinks dropped onto the table like we were an annoyance. When the food came we were giving a plastic fork & knife for one dish and the other had metal utensils. When we requested a metal fork we were told the dishwasher hasn't gotten to them so none were available. 5 minutes later after trying to use the plastic utensils I asked again if we could please have a metal fork and we were told we do not have any for you. She said "You can eat it with your hands or I can bring you your check and you can leave", I was in shock and mortified as people around us were looking. We finished my meal because I brought my friend there for a nice afternoon out, but was terribly disappointed and embarrassed. How dare that server treat us that way and I was the fool the who tipped her because I didn't want to be nasty , we won't be returning.

Went in with hubby and toddler. Says seat yourself so we did, a couple steps up where there were a few tables. Sat for a bit with no one coming over so went to tell someone where we were seated. She said ok. Came over a couple minutes later just to tell us not to sit there, that the area was closed because they don't have enough staff and to go and wait for another table. Really odd and not very friendly. We left. Prob won't return.

While vacationing in Point Pleasant, we chose the Beanery to meet up with a friend. We weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is "coffee-house casual" - very comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food choices are pretty varied. Our sandwiches were tasty and the meat and veggies were very fresh. The bread was delicious as were the coffee and iced tea. I wish I lived closer to drop in often. But if you're local, you should give them a try!
Wonderful experience!!!!! The turkey burger I ordered was excellent. I will definitely return.

So cute place, my first time. My daughter has been here a few times and liked it. So here is my mixed review. My husband had a shrimp salad, everything was good and fresh but the ingredients didn't make sense together so it just tasted a bit off. My daughter loved her sandwich on some delicious bread. I love quiche and thought this would be the place since it was the special...... No, horrible, gross, dry. I couldn't eat it. Like really bad. Waitress took it off the check but since she NEVER came back to our table after delivering food, I didn't want to order anything else when everyone else was finished and make my family sit and watch me eat so I left hungry....I will probably try it again (one more time) because my daughter likes it there. Tip: Serving 101, come back and check on your table, no excuses they had plenty of help.

Haven't been there in years, it needs a face-lift.I ordered takeout, the grilled veggie. Not happy! The one half had all the good stuff, eggplant, artichokes, tomatoe, onions and fresh mozzarella. The other half only had artichokes, so disappointeding. Balance is the art of making a wrap or sandwich.
