Got a chance to finally eat here while on an outing with an acquaintance in town. I passed it many times but never actually ate here. Great local spot that's very popular with people I know in this neighborhood. Alway hopping with locals.
Excellent! Worth a quick walk for lower prices, bigger portions (huge tacos!), better food, the house spicy salsa, and the atol de elote (was my first time trying it, a real treat!).

Grabbed lunch from here today and enjoyed my food. First, the restaurant is cash only but there's a nearby ATM if you need to use it. I ordered one of the specials that used skirt steak (sorry, my Spanish is pretty much nonexistent so I forget the exact name) and it was prepared in ~10 minutes or so.
