“Celebrated my son's 18th birthday here and a great time was had by all. Our server, Kat, was exceptional. She had great recommendations and a great personality. The food was delicious.”
“Great restaurant with affordable prices. Automated kitchen. Hence food comes fast in 5 mins upon ordering. Place settings are upgraded and attract a lot of people. Recommend all the food since it is a vegetarian restaurant.”
“This joint was jumping on a Friday at 6:30. We would have been turned away without a reservation. The pork chop scarpariello, short ribs and filet were excellent entrees. This was a birthday celebration, which is why we went a bit high-end. This venue at this time of night might be a bit noisy for some , but no complaints here - just an excellent meal!”
“We ordered 4 dishes - mixed paella, grilled octopus, sauteed shrimps, and churros. All 4 were delicious and had good portions. We would visit again if we are in the area.”
“We had a wonderful dinner here. Great vibe, good drinks, fresh sea food and attentive service. Generous portions too...I am used to a scallops plate having 3-4 pieces. Mine came with 10!”

“Having traveled to France often, this took me back to a little cafe in Paris. After starting with the beef tartare and the fois gras, I decided it was going too well to pass up on the salmon. Everything exceeded expectations. I’ve lived here for two years and am upset that I have missed out on this place for that long! Will definitely be back.”
“We came here with a party of eight plus a 7 yr old child. The restaurant was clean and had something on the menu for everyone. The service was amazing. Jason was fantastic as well as the chef and his wife who's the co-owner.The food was flavorful and not over seasoned like what you'd find in chain restaurants. We ordered wings (extra crispy) for appetizers and we ended up ordering some to go-they were very good. The chef (Bishop) came out to say hello and he was so warm and delightful. This is a hidden gem and we'll definitely be coming back again soon!”
“Great place. Great food a little loud (not recommended for a ROMANTIC time) but a great venue for anything else from a date, to a business dinner, to a hangout with friends.”
Restaurants with Delivery
“A staple in this area. Always worth the wait. Yes, there is no seating and there is always a long line. And yes, it's cash only. But it is well worth it! The staff is friendly, the store is very quaint. But the ice cream is absolutely one of the best out there. It's the perfect spot to cap off your evening. They close at 10 pm, which is a huge bonus. I never miss a chance to pass by here whenever I'm in Princeton.”
“James is the best waiter I have ever had in my life. Very kind person. GIVE HIM A RAISE!!!Dietary restrictions: James was very nice to my friend who can’t eat gluten”

“Spent the week in Princeton and this place was a life savor. Ate here a few times and I gotta say their tofu is the best. And that means a lot! Also try the desserts.”

“Nice bar, their vodka martini was perfect. They have a decent selection of specialty cocktails, and everyone enjoyed the drinks. The bar area is comfortable, the patio looks like a perfect place to hang when the weather turns nice. I heard the food was good, looking forward to going back. Service is good, easy parking in the back.”
“Did an absolute amazing job and was super easy to work with Being deployed, I was able to easily coordinate with what kind of design and cake I wanted for my Daughters 4th birthday. Sweta made the communication process super easy and got back right away with each message. Not only did the cake come out awesome, but I was told it was delicious as well. My little princess day was made with the cake, and she thinks Daddy did it all. Thank you so much! Please support this small business, you will not be disappointed!”
“This is my second visit to The Dinky Bar and Grill in Princeton which offers great views of the campus. We were going to see a play at McCarter and it is so convenient being across the street. The Dinky has an intimate vibe. Being the original Train Depot the feel of the place is still a train depot which I love. The menu is limited but certainly enough to choose from. There are shareable plates as well full entrees. Very good food and drinks. Our server Kayla was amazing. She needs to be recognized because she was extraordinary. A very busy place pre theater but Kayla never stopped smiling Great experience all around. Will definitely be going again.”
“I am so glad it open up. There’s outdoor seatings which is great. Various drinks and dessert on top of awesome sushi’s and poke bowl. The chef is personable and remember my friend and i.”

“Had an excellent time here last Friday, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a quaint evening out with exceptional food. Admittedly my date and I were late for our reservation, but we were seated right away regardless of our tardiness.I had given my date two long stem roses, the staff took note and offered us a small vase and water to hold them while we dined, which was an excellent touch right off the bat. We started with the Zucchini Beauty, which was a fresh zucchini salad that was nicely dressed and offered a great start to the upcoming entre. I had the lamb shank, which was seasoned wonderfully, cooked to be succulent yet fall-off-the-bone tender, and paired excellently with the vermicelli and jus sauce. Afterwards, the Turkish Coffee was a nice jolt of flavor to round out the meal. The dining room is cozy, but does carry sound, and the other diners' conversations did make it hard to converse with my date due to the loudness, but you can't control that sort of thing unfortunately. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Aspendos, and look forward to returning soon!Dietary restrictions: Are happy to accommodate diners with selfish allergies and assure them of no cross contamination.”

“Excellent experience. My wife and I went there as a belated Valentine's day treat for ourselves and did the 17 course tasting menu. We also sprung for the wine pairing. I think 16/17 dishes were excellent and there was only one that was "just ok". Wine pairing was excellent and pours were generous. My only advice would be to pace yourself, don't need to eat and drink everything! A little expensive but worth it for what you get.”

“This place is so good. The food was well flavored and the spice wasn't overwhelming. The lamb was so tender and the dumplings were perfect. I will definetly travel back to eat here again.Be forewarned it is a small place so be prepared to stand and wait at the entrance but again totally worth it.Parking: Parking garage is just past the restaurant. Street parking is horrible”

“Our daughter wanted Greek food on her birthday--so we ordered food from here using Grubhub (Grubhub or Doordash do not cover another good local Greek restaurant here). It is slightly on the expensive side. The food came relatively soon. We ordered four dishes and each dish was very tasty. We would gladly order food from here or do a dine-in.”
“We had a delicious dinner and the staff was both knowledgeable about and sensitive to one of us having Celiac. Lits of excellent normal and gluten free options on the menu, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff!Dietary restrictions: Good gluten-free options!”
“One of our “go to” restaurants/bars. Mistral offers a unique blend of American cuisine infused with a touch of ethnic flavors. I also appreciate the changes in their menus based on seasonal abundance. My favorites are the chicken wings, salmon bites and grilled kale salad. The bar area is one of my favorite local hangouts.”
“One of the best places to eat delicious Asian cuisine. They serve a mix of different Asian cuisines. Serving size is really big and their service is great. Helpful and accommodating staff. We loved their shrimp roll, Thai basil fried rice. Their juices are fresh and refreshing.”
“Good comfort food. Friendly service.Good: vodka penne, chicken parm sandwich, chicken Marsala, tiramisuGreat: eggplant rollitini, truffle gnocchiBYOB - there is a wine store right next door”
“Wide assortment of really fresh dishes, all locally sourced and tasty. The service was attentive to detail and the atmosphere was rustic yet refined and elegant.”

“When you walk in the vibe is relaxed, warm, and inviting, as if you were having dinner in a friend's kitchen. There aren't an overwhelming amount of choices but there is something for everyone. While you wait for your meal, enjoy the delicious flatbread. I am on a diet but everyone else loved it. What is delivered to your table is absolutely delicious. My daughter, who has eaten there before, raved about their house dressing. How excited can one get over salad dressing? It was so good. She ordered the Parpadelle Meat Sauce. She loved it. It was a lot so she took half of it home. Her boyfriend had the Apricot & Walnut Salad. It looked delicious and he really enjoyed it. As I mentioned, I am on a diet so I was happy to see the variety of salads. I ordered the Pasta Fazool, yum, and the Beet & Goat Cheese Salad; I added Shrimp. It was delicious, especially the shrimp, well seasoned, and they weren't cheap on the beets or goat cheese which made me happy. It was topped with that salad dressing and, my daughter was right, it was delicious. My husband, whom we affectionately refer to as "Bob the Food Snob", had the Frutta del Mar. He always sends his food back but loved this dish. The pasta is fresh, the sauce perfectly seasoned. We ended the evening with zeppole shared for the table. It comes with Nutella. My daughter's boyfriend joked that zeppole filled with cannoli cream would be outrageously delicious. I ordered that and the Nutella. I expected the cannoli cream to be typical. It was really light. Yes, I had a taste because they were all talking about it and dessert is my thing. Brad was right, zeppole and cannoli cream is delicious. Put that on the menu! We are going back!”
“I love how quaint and comfy it is in here - I really miss nice warm restaurants like this. The menu is unique and everything we've had has been delicious. The service is always wonderful as well!”
“Met 3 of my girlfriends at this restaurant for lunch. We chose it by random. The food was really good, as was the atmosphere. Will definitely consider coming back next time I'm in the Princeton area.”
“I need a quick sushi option for my wife because she just gave birth and the hospital was closing the doors at 9. I was able to order at 815 go pick up and be back with my wife by 850 enjoying the well-made and fresh sushi.”
“We had a very good experience at this location. The food was solid, and the menu had a great variety. Service was a bit slow but very nice. None the less it was a great experience.”
“The service was impeccable, and staff were knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations. Each dish we tried was bursting with fresh ingredients and expertly balanced spices. Highly recommended we will come back to explore more flavors of their menu.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten free”
“As a connoisseur of fine cuisine, I had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights offered by Dalhouse Princeton Catering, and I must say, it was an unforgettable gastronomic experience. From the moment I arrived at the event, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes tantalized my senses, promising a feast for both the palate and the soul. The presentation of the food was impeccable, with each dish meticulously arranged to appeal to both the eye and the appetite.”
“In Princeton for a weekend visit with friends who moved here recently and they took us to their favorite spot! It did NOT disappoint! We ate so much food!! We had lychee martinis which were ok (too limey and not enough lychee) but the food was amazing so it made up for it! They had a little bit of everything! So whatever you feel like eating, they probably have it! Or if your in a group and you all can't agree on what type of food to get, this is a good compromise: pizza, nachos, wings, sushi, burgers, salads, they literally had everything!!”

Takeout Restaurants
“I had a great experience with Nothing Bundt Cakes Princeton. I had attempted to place an order online, but experienced some technical difficulties. I called the store and spoke with an associate named Jordan who was able to assist me in placing an order to be picked up. I hit some traffic on my way to the store and gave them another call to let them know that my gps said I would be arriving at 4:01 pm (after closing hours). Jordan was extremely helpful and said they would wait for me to pick up my order. I arrived at the store, was greeted and grabbed my order. The bundtinis with the little party hats were a hit for my friend’s birthday!”

“My daughter has influenced my addiction to this spot and I’m in love!! They are so good… refreshing and filling! A little disappointed this visit because my bananas were a little brown and mushy.”

“Food is amazing at Godavari. We have been there several times with the friends and family. Neelima who works there is very helpful. From helping us to choose the best dishes in the restaurant her service is excellent. Every time we are there we always look for her. Great work ”
“A 30 year, small family owned business, that's a mixture of pizzeria and Italian restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Tonight, I stopped in for the first time and was cheerfully welcomed and felt right at home. The menu had a wonderful assortment of great looking entries. But I decided to try one of the specials, the very flavorful and savory Chicken with portobello mushrooms sun-dried, tomatoes, spinach, and mozzarella in a white wine sauce over penne ($23.95). Service was great with friendly and attentive staff. If you're in the Hillsboro, Princeton area, this is a must try. Dine in or takeout, I think you'll be impressed too. Follow me on yelp or on Insta @noodlesoupr. As I travel the world and search up the perfect bowl of noodle soup.”
“We weren't looking for this place but just found it. Turns out everything is absolutely wonderful. Food is delicious. A very cozy atmosphere. Service is great. It's a hidden gem”
“Use to go to this place for an expensive cauliflower shawarma back in the day. It's a good chain with gold shawarama options. Not the best shawaram I have had by any means, but this place is very good for lunch you can get balanced bowl with correct macros. It's one of my go to ”
“Such a unique stop! Wide assortment of both sweet and savory crepes, along with a few soups. The lemon & lavender crepe was great, as was the veggie goat. Can’t beat house-made lemon curd, fresh vegetables, and a homey atmosphere.”
“So happy they deliver to Marquand Park! It allows me to spend time at the park with my grandson and eat his favorite meal – pizza! He loves it! Love their sliders, cheese pizza, and their specialty sodas!Kid-friendliness: Pizza in the park”
“Charming as can be. Such delightful energy. The owner and all staff helping all the customers. I came in with my cousin and we couldn't be more excited. As soon as you walk in, there are things to look at to the right. The book the cheap published, as well as all sorts of kitchen gadgets. Walking straight forward is such a wonderful treat. So many baked goodies in the glass display case. They recommended some savory and sweet treats and that's what we got. I was really pleased with everything we got. Spinach Pastry and dragonfruit pastry. Wonderful!! Every bite was so delightful! I look forward to coming back again. The proprietress is so kind and so engaging ! This will be your favorite place too.”
“I am in love with the design and idea of this cafe. They have one of the best working environments you could ask for along with one of the greatest cafes. They have a wide selection of coffees from espressos pulled from the one of a kind la marzocco machine, many varieties of drip coffee, and pour overs. They also have a wide variety of snacks available: all the best pastries imaginable to go with your coffee and even an acai bowl bar and amazing oatmeal bowls for those who haven't had a chance to have their breakfast yet =) My personal favorite is their spicy maya mocha. And theres an amazing barista there by the name of Karen, say hi if you see her ?Parking: Amazing parking availability, utilizes the many available free parking spots around the cafe and apartment complex area.”
“Love coming to this location because it has sandwiches vs just pastries and snacks at the Witherspoon location. The people are friendly and the vanilla latte is my go to. All the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. I’ve had the jersey driver, pile driver, ranchero burrito. The only downsides are that they don’t have any plates, so eating can get a little messy and there are only a few tables”
“The best place to get lunch during the work day!! The chipotle chicken wrap with crispy chicken is my favorite. The staff is super friendly. Great for catering large lunches and events as well!”
“We had a delicious dinner and the staff was both knowledgeable about and sensitive to one of us having Celiac. Lits of excellent normal and gluten free options on the menu, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff!Dietary restrictions: Good gluten-free options!”
“Very chill quiet place to grab food during the week, its clean and has a neat vibe inside. I enjoyed a simple margarita pizza with Mexican cane sugar cola, the staff was very friendly!”

“Very cold boring. Almost dingy inside but that’s fine. No fault of staff. That’s my fault of Burger King and not updating or franchise owners whichever!Rain for the last week doesn’t help much either other than that it’s was all good! ”

Cheap Eats
“Such a sweet little jewel box of a coffee shop. The Vietnamese coffee was totally enjoyable. The Nutella filled doughnut was delectable too! The staff was super sweet and efficient. Would love to go back when I’m in town!”
“Finally, a place in Princeton with authentic flavor, quality ingredients, and homemade specials. Certainly worth a return trip for both the food and delightful service.”
“My favorite coffee shop ever! The consistency of how their drinks are made from different baristas is astounding. I rarely find a shop that makes espresso or macchiatos as good as I can at home, but Sakrid does it even better than me.”
“Best coffee and best baristas ever! It really is the best third space and if i lived closer I would come multiple times a week! Their food is excellent. The baristas are passionate and friendly!”
“One of the nicest, more spacious Starbucks I’ve been to. The girl, Juliette, that took my order was super friendly and knowledgeable of the drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and spacious sitting area that anyone in a wheel chair can easily sit at.”
“Flavorful and Diverse: A Review of Tacoria in PrincetonI recently had the pleasure of dining at Tacpria, a Mexican fast-food gem that left me impressed with its delicious food and diverse menu offerings. From gluten-free to vegan options and a range of mouthwatering sauces, there was something to satisfy every palate. While the music was a bit loud and seating could be challenging to find at times, the overall experience was nothing short of delightful.Upon entering Tacoria , I was immediately drawn to the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The menu boasted an impressive array of options, with a particular emphasis on accommodating various dietary preferences. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I was thrilled to find a plethora of gluten-free choices available, ensuring that everyone could enjoy a satisfying meal. One of the highlights of my dining experience was the wide selection of sauces available to accompany the dishes. Ranging from mild to spicy, these sauces added an extra layer of depth and complexity to the already delicious food. Whether you prefer a tangy salsa verde or a fiery habanero sauce, there was a sauce to suit every taste preference. While I thoroughly enjoyed the food at Tacoria , I must mention that the music was quite loud during my visit, making it difficult to carry on conversations with dining companions. Additionally, finding seating could be a bit challenging during peak hours, but the friendly staff did their best to accommodate guests in a timely manner.Despite these minor drawbacks, my overall experience was fantastic. The exceptional food, diverse menu options, and welcoming atmosphere more than made up for any inconveniences. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return for another flavorful dining adventure. In conclusion, I highly recommend Tacoria to anyone in search of delicious Mexican fast food with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options. Whether you're craving a hearty burrito, flavorful tacos, or mouthwatering sauces, you're sure to find something to love at this hidden gem.Bon appétit!Mohit DasaurVegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and Vegan options available.”
“Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy Faculty and Staff received breakfast for Valentine’s Day from one of our school family’s! Everything was so delicious, from the bagels, croissant sandwiches, fruit and coffee! Thank you!”
“I initially walked in to get coffee beans as a gift for a friend. I am a tea lover. I stayed and ordered tea because the baristas were very knowledgeable about tea selection and preparation methods. A very pleasant surprise,”
“I loved the green monster juice. It was expensive but good. By California or Los Angeles standards, this juice bar is just fine, but they could not charge nearly this much because there are much nice juice bar chains that use organic fresh produce every few blocks or so. However in Princeton, they have no competition and are the best juice bar.”
“I was born in Genoa and I miss my land every day. As well I miss the real Italian food. Thanks God Francesca and Le Kyosk exist!! Truly amazing Focaccia and all the sandwiches I’ve tried so far (I guess 5 different ones). The quality along with the kindness made me really feel at home. Thanks Le Kyosk Team!Vegetarian options: You can personalize your sandwich the way you want”
“Best-value and best tasting coffee offered around campus/town - an important accolade when even the campus-run outlets are draining bank accounts for very basic offerings. Important for new or unfamiliar campus staff to know that all are welcome, even though it is in the basement of the "Campus Club" building.”
“Pizza is always amazing here. The perfect crispy crust with a large selection of drinks. The earthling and Uranus pie are our go to pies. Previous time the nachos are a wonderful choice with a big group as you get a heaping plate. However, this last time was a little disappointing as the crust was a little floppy. However, this will not stop me from coming back as my previous experiences have always been great.”
“Genuinely my favorite breakfast sandwich ever! Get a bacon egg and cheese w/ salsa verde & avocado... it's a game changer. Also, the Santa Fe chicken sandwich w/ chipotle mayo is incredible. Their souvlaki-style chicken is to die for. Great service every time! One of the highlights of visiting my boyfriend in Princeton.”
“Nice casual pizza place if you're in the area. Family run, easy going place for drinks and food. Generous pours and good service at the bar. Sausage & onion and pepperoni, red pepper, mushrooms were my favorites. If you like thin crust, the pizza is pretty good. I liked the atmosphere and the service.”
“I love New Jersey diners. Soooo much quality food for a decent price. This building is a little bit outdated but the service was immaculate. The waitress was friendly and the food was delivered quickly. I would absolutely recommend this place.”

“We always enjoy dinner here. I had a piece of salmon with brown rice which was delicious but I thought didn't LOOK amazing. My dining companions all enjoyed their meals too.The atmosphere is rustic elegance with exposed rock and earthy tones. When it's crowded it can be very difficult to hear the conversation at the dinner table.Vegetarian options: Veg is not the reason to go, but if you're going there is at least a pasta dish.”
“I love how quaint and comfy it is in here - I really miss nice warm restaurants like this. The menu is unique and everything we've had has been delicious. The service is always wonderful as well!”
“Always great, fresh dinner (or lunch) options for the family or guests when you don't have time for a lot of dinner prep! Love their sauces, soups and my kids won't eat any other brand of raviolis having grown up eating Lucy's for 10+ years. Salads are fresh, sandwiches - and they do a great job catering large and small orders as well.”
“Met 3 of my girlfriends at this restaurant for lunch. We chose it by random. The food was really good, as was the atmosphere. Will definitely consider coming back next time I'm in the Princeton area.”
“Great place, and my son loved it. However, when I went, they were extremely short staffed. Had to wait 5 min for someone to let us in/out , as well as only 1 person behind the prize counter, so wait was 10+ min. Also, the birthday watches that were timed play kept malfunctioning and would take 3 to 4 times scanning against the game to work. Other than that, it was a good time... I normally don't complain about wait times , however, when you're with an excited 3 year old, 5 to 10 minutes becomes an eternity as they don't want to stand still or wait and literally are climbing out of your arms so excited to play or pick a prize. However, I completely understand that being short staffed happens. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident, and it will be better staffed on our next visit!Kid-friendliness: This is a kid friendly environment. I also love that kids can not leave without their parents as hands are stamped upon entry. As my 3 year old was so excited, he kept running off. Gives parents a little peace of mind in the crazy world we live in.”

“Celebrated my son's 18th birthday here and a great time was had by all. Our server, Kat, was exceptional. She had great recommendations and a great personality. The food was delicious.”
“This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. A short walk away from Princeton University and all of the shopping of downtown. The heated floors in the bathroom were a huge plus for this southerner. The beds were extremely comfortable, as well as the pillows. The continental breakfast was delicious, especially the blueberry muffins. While this is a boutique hotel, the prices are fairly reasonable. I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.Walkability: Located half a mile from Princeton University and downtown Princeton.Noteworthy details: Heated floors in the bathroom were a wonderful touch.”
“I really enjoyed the uniqness of this tea place! One of my favorite aspects was the almond jelly! It was so unique and the texture was fun!I got a mango tea which was uncaffeinated and my favorite aspect was the addition of pulp to the drink! It made it have better texture and didn't just feel like a flavor pump like other places do!I would definitely come back for more! The staff were really quick and efficient as well!”

“Service was excellent and food was very good. Strip side of Porterhouse was a little too fatty but the filet side was tender and fabulous. We will definitely go again because I the perfect restaurant to celebrate a holiday or special occasion . Also, offering Mac and cheese without the lobster is smart and it was creamy and delicious”
“My girlfriend and I have brunch here every weekend. The food and ambiance are fantastic! The service is also excellent. The smashed avocado tartine is by far our favorite dish, and any espresso drink we’ve gotten to date has been amazing. It does get a bit crowded around 10am-11am on the weekends, but tables usually clear out quickly enough such that you’re seated before your food arrives. Overall I could not recommend this place more!”

“Some of the best chicken wings in the state. Major upside in this place as a restaurant to become a really big place. I love the way the cheese burger was designed and it tasted amazing. My waiter was very good and I was in a rush and he did everything he could to get the food out quick and got out of there in 20-25 min. I will definitely have to try the steak next time.”
“Spent the week in Princeton and this place was a life savor. Ate here a few times and I gotta say their tofu is the best. And that means a lot! Also try the desserts.”
“I am so glad it open up. There’s outdoor seatings which is great. Various drinks and dessert on top of awesome sushi’s and poke bowl. The chef is personable and remember my friend and i.”
“Mango Tango: great. Refreshing with the rim crsuted with sugarFirecracker Stuffed Jalapeños: Great. Would eat again. Crispy & thin crusts, with cheese & chicken stuffing inside. Would recommend this to anyone who can handle spice.Signature queso: great. You won't regret if you upgrade to a bowl size for extra $2Gran Papi: a good sampler dish. Loved their empanada, crispy ground beef taco. Their rice felt undercooked.Strawberry cheesecake chimis: great. Sweet, hot, and satisfying.Overall great food with great price. Can be a bit loud as the place sells drinks. Would return here for the jalapeño poppers and strawberry chimis. Our server was very attentive and helpful.Vegetarian options: Their chips are corn tortillas but some menus come with flour tortillas. Menus are not clearly specified if they're GF or not and you need to ask for clarification. They would make a menu GF for you but cannot guarantee it'll taste as good”
