I had some time to kill before a movie at Princeton Garden Theatre so was walking along Nassau with all of its options. Decided just grabbing some pizza would be best. And there was Proof. Very bright and welcoming. They had a good variety of options. Lots of tables to sit. Was empty, guessing most of their biz is takeout. I got two slices. Buffalo chicken and white. Pizza was okay. The place was clean (kinda fancy I guess) service was bad. They made my mother & I & 2 other guests get up & pay for our meals while we were eating. Usually if you're eating in, you pay after. That really threw me off & as stated before the food is very basic. Definitely not Jersey quality.

The pizza is good, but the pizza at Pizza Den down the road is better.The chicken Parmesan sandwich was soggy and not the best. Princeton Soup and Sandwich and DeAngelo’s Italian Market have much better sandwiches.The service however, was excellent. They brought my sandwich on a nice plate.
