A staple on St. Georges Ave in Rahway in front of Rahway River Park. Pull up behind and park your car to get a few dogs how you like them. Mustard and kraut and sometimes chili for me. Been there since I attended Franklin elementary in starting in 1988 and still there today.
What childhood memories. I was going there when "Munce' ran it in the 1960s. It was a cart with a tiny bubble cab in front that you could drive if I remember. When I moved, Munce would sell me a huge box of Sabrett's to take home when I visited because you couldn't get them in the south. Still hard to find and expensive to get the natural casing dogs south of NJ.I would always get one with mustard, chili, and onions and one with mustard and saurkraut. His chili is the best.
