“This place has been in service for years. You just pull into a parking spot and they will come outside to your car and bring your food and take your order it's like old-school diner I love it.As you all know I am not big on meet I'm a vegetarian so if you like to have hot dogs or hamburgers you get that from here. My brother was in town from Florida and he wanted to stop here for lunch so I just had some french fries. But the notorious for their root beer shake“
“Everything taste amazing, and everything’s got a cool name, barkers, Jens, candied bacon, Earls peppers, Brotato (loaded baked potato). Toppings included. I mix it up. Sometimes sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard…. sometimes onions spicy and hot with chili…. Or throw those mix-and-match toppings in the knish, or in the Brotato! Wash it down with a Dr. Brown’s ice cold soda! Sit outside under the umbrella at the picnic table.. nice, fresh air. A great way to clear your head and fill your belly. Have a nice chat with Red and the other customers, all friendly faces.“
“Best burgers we have ever had!!! The love that they put into making them really comes out in every bite! Loved the “sidekick” selection that let me try different burgers, each delicious in their own specific way! Great time opening packs and catching a scrumptious bite! The service was also incredible! Felt at home, great place!PS the secret sauce will leave you wanting more!“
“The hubby and I tried Tommy’s in Carteret this afternoon. Homemade chili, no beans. Nice, smooth bit of heat. It was good. I believe they are using a Sabrett hot dog. The onion rings were EXCELLENT! Everything was fresh and very tasty. This family has been selling hot dogs in the Carteret and Rahway area since the very early 1960’s. Jimmy who is the son of the original owner, Tommy was very friendly. He couldn’t have been happier to explain his menu offerings to us, and partake in some friendly conversation. Four hot dogs with two toppings on each, an order of onion rings, and a Diet Coke was $19. There are a couple of outdoor tables to sit at, or a no frills trailer to sit in. It’s not a fancy place, but we weren’t there for fancy. We were there for some good dawgs, and we got them. We will definitely be back for more, and to try the freshly made burgers and cheesesteaks.?“
“Let’s start off with how clever the name of this place is. I wish that the mochi doughnuts were a lil more gummy texture (that’s just my preference) it didn’t taste fresh. Other than that the flavor on top was very delicious. The flavors were strawberry cheesecake, matcha, milk&cookies, tiramisu; blueberry & taro. The Kdogs were amazing especially the sauces they have out by the entrance.. top tier! Definitely coming back for the Kdogs!“
“Hot Dogs done right at this place. Great prices. I tried an Alabama slammer and it threw me for a loop. Way to get the combination of flavors on point. Also the onions on a dog just simply good, but the star of the show had to be the chili dog. A winner for sure. A MUST try. The fries good and the dogs great. If you’re in the area stop and enjoy the menu. Classic joint.“
“Yes, I did try Jimmy buffs and it was delicious. I enjoyed it and I will be back again. I had the red hot double dog with the peppers and onions the ketchup, the bread was nice and soft. The potatoes were cut round and circle. I enjoyed it. And I will go back again.“
“This was my first time having a mochinut and it was absolutely delightful!!! Their taro mochinut has been my favorite flavor so far. The texture is sooo good. It's both chewy like mochi and doughy like a donut, the perfect mixture of both! Not too heavy and not too sweet. And their variety of flavors is amazing and unique! I can't wait to go back and have some more. I can tell the staff there work hard to pump out all these donuts and with such quality too! Please keep doing what you're doing!“
“I absolutely love this place my kids husband we love them & the Pina colada drink is awesome. Philly cheese steaks are to die for. Thank you for your service you guys are awesome love that I don't have to repeat my order they are on point.“
“Calamari was crunchy but tender & juicy. The fettuccini with short ribs a delicious burst of flavor. For a cocktail I had a violet spritz but I substituted gin for tequila it was amazing to say the least. This is a hidden gem to be completely honest.“
“Your classic five guys experience. I've been here a few times now everything is consistently great which is what I come to a place like five guys for.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and a low key atmosphere mean you don't need to stress when you bring your kids.“
“Hot Dog Hut is your traditional window front hot dog stand. There is no indoor dining here, but there are a couple of tables for quick consumption of your meal. They offer Sabrett's hot dogs, which is a telltale sign that you're going to get a top of the line dog. My pick today was for the garlic potatoes dog. The potatoes were not overpowered by the garlic, as is the case with some other places but only mildly discernable. The dog was, of course, delicious (Hey, it's Sabrett's), and I was pleased for the presence of brown mustard, and not that "Yer Yella" mustard type. For a drink, I took my favorite, C&C soda. The prices are very reasonable, and the gentleman behind the window was most pleasant in his demeanor. He was genuinely interested in the satisfaction of his customers, which was a nice touch to my visit.Vegetarian options: NoneDietary restrictions: None postedParking: Parking entirely on street. No lot. Spaces nearby can be at a premium at times.Kid-friendliness: Friendly, engaging service. Always glad to have you there.Wheelchair accessibility: Come right up to the window. No indoor dining room.“
“Ring in the yum! Of all the mochi donut places I've tried, these stay the softest even when they're a couple days old. The day my family and I visited, they had 10 flavors available and we enjoyed all, especially the Nutella, Strawberry, and Brown Sugar Milk Tea. We love it a hole bunch! ;)NOTES/TIPS:**No restroom, more of a take out spot.**Between Bonchon and Barangay.**Street parking.**They offer several great deals of 1 free donut for buying 6 or 2 for buying a dozen, and 1 free taiyaki ice cream for buying 2.“
“If you've never tried a mochimoly, try one. I don't think I'll eat another donut after eating one of these. It's a cross between a traditional donut and a rice cake but better. Its first a crunch than light like rice. They come in different flavors. The flavoring is in the icing. I got mango and caramel. The Carmel was excellent. The mango was good but not my favorite. The woman in the store was very polite. They also have mochi ice cream and Korean hotdogs. I didn't try either. I will be back and suggest you try it too. They have two other locations. The place was very clean.“
“A staple on St. Georges Ave in Rahway in front of Rahway River Park. Pull up behind and park your car to get a few dogs how you like them. Mustard and kraut and sometimes chili for me. Been there since I attended Franklin elementary in starting in 1988 and still there today.“
