“Fun night with The Kootz band! We hadn't been to Pub 17 before and went for the rock & roll. It has a great atmosphere and the food was pretty good, especially the pumpkin pie for dessert!Olivia was wonderful! She gave us exceptional service and great advice on what to choose from the menu. Before you read past reviews, please keep in mind that Pub 17 is fairly new to this address. There was another place here that was a favorite to the locals. Things change. That's just the way it is.We totally enjoyed everything from the service, the food and especially the band! Thanks for having us. We'll be back!“
“For a first time visit, I thoroughly enjoyed this place! My boyfriend and I went for our 1 year celebration and we enjoyed the food and Milkis! The staff were so kind - honestly, I like how the staff were placing the meats for us on the grill. Overall, we’d definitely come back to Prime No. 7 again!“
“The charcoal grilled half chicken was so delicious, moist & flavorful. Meg’s corn concoction & collard greens were delicious. What an awesome place with friendly service & fair prices. Such a nice change of pace for dining options. I was also talking to a customer who had the brisket meal with coleslaw & mac cheese which he said was amazing. I would highly recommend right off Rt 23.“
“The wings used to be really good and fresh. But my last order was disappointing. Wings tasted like they were fried a while ago, covered up with too much sauce that it was so salty. Please bring back the fresh quality you used to have when you first opened.“
“We had Smokin’ Joes cater my daughter’s family birthday party and everything was truly outstanding! We ordered the ribs, brisket, wings, Mac and cheese, and beans. They delivered everything hot and right on time. It was an incredibly smooth and transparent process from ordering to delivery. Our family can’t wait to order from Smokin’ Joes again!“
“I Love this place! Ever since moving to the area this has been my go to for a quick & always delicious, satisfying meal. Chicken cutlets are homemade & particularly good. It’s a cozy , decidedly & charmingly old- fashioned grill/ eatery reminiscent of bygone jersey days. It’s a vibe all it’s own.“
“Absolutely delicious and authentic northern Indian food. Great place for a family meal or a gathering with friends. Super friendly service.Vegetarian options: We went in a family group with many vegetarian and gluten free people dining in our party. There's an abundance of menu options to choose from, and everything we had was savory and delicious.Dietary restrictions: We went in a family group with many vegetarian and gluten free people dining in our party. “I BBQ and smoke meats at home but don't always feel like doing a 12hr brisket cook. Saw this place nearby and figured to give it a try. The Korean fixings on top of traditional BBQ went great. Got the brisket sandwich and it was delicious. Corn bread was really good too.Was expecting to order takeout but ended up sitting inside. They but had a decent amount of tables. It also had table service which was unexpected. Service was excellent and really appreciated the conversation and genuine help. Definitely will be going back.“
“My family absolutely love your food. They have been getting food from your establishment since it first opened they know the original owners. The chicken, rice and vegetable dish had a great presentation, great favor and cooked very well. We've haven't eaten there was get takeout. The restaurant is clean and organized. Staff is friendly. Definitely recommend.“
“Yummy food. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and allergy concerns.Dietary restrictions: They are good for gluten sensitiveParking: They have a small lot at the restaurant, and then there is a town lot about a block away that is also free“
“I ate at their Newark airport (EWR) location. Best damn value in the airport. Great taste, good portion size, and nice staff (especially for an airport). If you find yourself I terminal A, or have a longer layover, make your way to gate A16 and see these fine folks. Add a Corona for $7 (April 2024). Again, for EWR, a great value. Cheers Carlitos!“
“Great brewery, James the bartender was sensational and a pleasure to speak with.Beer was great. Atmosphere was good and pricing is good. Can't speak anymore highly of this place, even the neighborhood around it is gorgeous as well.Definitely recommend this to anyone in the area, next time I'm in NYS I will be back absolutely.“
“Haven't been here in over a decade so I decided to stop in for lunch today. $14.26 got me 4 piece jumbo fried shrimp and 2 BBQ Raleigh ribs. Shrimp was great, served with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. I wouldn't call them jumbo but normal sized nd butterflied. The ribs had a thin bark to them, great smoky flavor and fall off the bone ready, sauce wasn't too sweet. They actually gave me 3! This small take out place has 6 seats while you wait and a refrigerator case of drinks. Sharon at the register was friendly and helpful.Vegetarian options: Salads and sidesParking: Plenty of open spots up front“
“Love having a Korean restaurant in this area stay open and have the great atmosphere that Seoul Galbi provides. There are usually seats available and rarely does get full. The food itself is a little pricy but the quality of service and food makes up for it and is worth it for anyone nearby! Plenty of parking is available and drinks as well.“
“After hiking in Harriman State Park, our go-to spot for dinner is always Rhodes North Tavern, where we almost always indulge in their cheeseburgers. During our visit about a month ago, we stuck to our routine and ordered our cheeseburgers medium rare, accompanied by a side of French fries. To our satisfaction, our order was spot-on!The cheeseburgers were cooked impeccably, boasting a delightful pink and juicy interior. Admittedly, they leaned a tad towards medium, but hey, that's why we opt for medium rare, right? ;)However, the French fries didn't quite hit the mark. They had an odd taste, almost like they were sprinkled with something resembling sand. It was a bit disappointing considering how well the burgers were prepared. On a previous occasion, my husband decided to deviate from our cheeseburger tradition and opted for the ribeye steak, while I settled for the half-roasted chicken, as I wasn't feeling like having red meat that day. Unfortunately, neither of our dishes lived up to expectations. My husband's steak, despite being cooked to his liking, was disappointingly tough and sinewy. It was quite a challenge to eat. My chicken, ordered plain without any sauces, had an unusual yellow color and an off-putting taste. Initially, I suspected it might not have been fresh, but it's possible that it was due to some spices or seasoning that didn't agree with my palate. I managed to eat some of it, but it wasn't an enjoyable experience, so I ended up mainly sticking to the mashed potatoes.Despite the less-than-stellar experience with non-burger dishes, Rhodes North Tavern remains a top choice for burger enthusiasts. The service is consistently excellent, and the ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant. Overall, I still recommend giving this place a try, especially if you're in the mood for a delicious burger!“
“Let’s talk about it.The cornbreads are delicious. I had to order some to go! The ribs were savory, the brisket was tasty, the chicken was well seasoned. My family and I ordered fries and Mac and cheese on the side—also great. I can’t wait to bring the whole family here. We visited on a Saturday and got seated right away. Super spacious and clean.PS: Great service. Friendly staff.Kid-friendliness: There’s a kids menu!“
