It’s hard enough snagging a reservation without hoards of people trying to book a table after reading justifiably rave reviews. OK, here goes. Agnolotti pasta and sweet potato hush puppies as appetizers to start and oh, what a start it was. Monk fish and a bacon-jam encrusted pork chop, both cooked to perfection, as entrees. Lemon tart and a you-gotta-try-it-once-in-your-life “budino,” for dessert. (Do you know stressed spelled backwards is desserts?) What’s a budino you ask? Adult pudding, whipped by angels, so addictive it must have been created by Satan. Farm to Table, fresh, sustainable, local, tucked away on a side street in Red Bank… and you get to bring your own favorite wine. Don’t go. Don’t tell your friends. Let this gem be all mine.“

“I love buffalo chicken sandwiches and have gone as far as Philadelphia to get one. However, I recently tried a buffalo chicken sandwich at Nicholas. I was speechless…literally. My brain instantly went into survival mode trying to calculate how and why this sandwich was at least ten times better than any other buffalo chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Not even a close second place. Game changing. Life changing. It’s like I knew nothing about buffalo chicken a moment before taking a bite. I was humbled instantly. “I bring my 80+ year old mom there once a month after her eye doctor. The staff and patrons always help her in and out with her walker. Great kind staff and food“

“Last time I was here, bagels and coffee were great, fresh and prompt service. The issue was their largest coffee cup size was too small for me, so I cannot make this my morning breakfast stop. Even though the bagels are good, I can't make two stops in the morning. Need to offer at least a 24 oz. coffee cup size. Their largest is only about 16 oz.“

“This BBQ spot is super close to me, so I order from them pretty often. The best things on the menu are the smoked chicken, Im usually getting it with mac and cheese and their burgers I’m not a fan of their brisket since its very dry, but everything else I’ve tried has been really good. Overall, definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re craving BBQ!“
