“I recently attended my neice's Shabbas Shevah Brachos and Heimish was the caterer for the all the meals.All the food served was fresh and delicious with a homemade feel. The chicken soup served Friday night was absolutely superb and above expectations when being served from a commercial kitchen! It was hearty and hot along with the matzah balls and noodles!For all three meals (Friday night, Shabbas lunch and Shalesh Suedes) the courses were plated nicely.We have a number of family members that required strict gluten free options which was met absolutely beyond expectations! Everything was clearly labeled and kept clean away from any cross contamination and indeed no one walked away with any reactions!I absolutely reccomend Heimish for any and all types of simchas for your catering needs!“

“I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and wanted to pick up some brekkie. I found Bagel Nosh close by. It was a Tuesday at around 9 am. I called ahead for pick up and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes, and piping hot. I ordered a sausage and cheese on a toasted everything wheat bagel, which hit the spot.l. Some places will only give you one sausage patty even when you don't order it with egg but this one came with two. The bagel itself was pretty good and they have more options than most places. It's a pretty heavy/greasy brekkie but you get a bang for your buck here, and it's nice for a once in a while treat.“

“MBG catered our office party last week and the food was delicious. The big winner was the brisket, which melts in your mouth and had a yummy sauce. The BBQ chicken and honey grilled chicken were juicy and incredibly tasty as well. The green beans were still crunchy, which is how I like them to be, and the pasta primavera that was made without dairy was a great accompaniment to our meal. Tara was professional and a great communicator during the whole process of creating the menu, adjustments to delivery time, and during the actual delivery and set up. I would definitely consider using MBG Catering again for future events.“

Even better it's glat kosher and Shomer Shabbos! They're kosher for Passover Pizza is a real annual treat. “Last night, at Columbia University, we had an event catered by Apple Spice and I had the vegetarian option. Homemade pesto mayo, thick fresh whole wheat bread, veggies galore with fresh slices of tomato, mushroom, peppers, cucumber, zuchini...and a pickle. Plus chunky cantalope and pineapple on the side. There were MANY options, but I just had the enormous and delicious vegetarian sandwich. I ate every crumb so sadly do not include a photo in this review. Xxox“

“This is such a great place. The food is wonderful the atmosphere is great and service is out of this world. I would recommend if your sick or just a soup lover to get their chicken and rice soup. Its thick and hearty with shredded chicken. The fresh mozzarella is like 10 dollars for this small ball but worth it. They make great spaghetti sauce and have wonderful sandwiches too but I'm cutting back on bread so I can't say I've had them that much“

“Wow. I ordered a Breaded Chicken wrap, which came with Fresh Mozzarella and Vodka Sauce, as well as a fried rice ball (arancini) and a side of that delicious vodka sauce to dip into. I was shocked at how hefty the wrap is, and how delicious the flavors were. Absolutely filling and a great value, and again, the flavors were excellent. I’m sure their other foods are delicious as well!“

They advertise Italian food on the menu but its actually completely different once you get it..it tastes fine but just be aware that any non-Latin food you order probably is still Latin lol. “I had this sammie place bookmarked for a while but never went because it's a little bit out of the way. I finally tried it out after visiting a friend who lives in the same town, so I picked up a few sammies to go, on the way home in the afternoon. There is no dining area, just an area to line up outside, and you place your order at the window. I ordered the Chopped Cheese and the Philly Cheesesteak. Both were great but I liked the chopped cheese better - especially since you don't really find this at a lot of delis.There are so many other sandwiches I'd like to try. I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to drive there but next time I visit my friend, I'll definitely give Crossroads another visit as well.“

While dal Bukhara is their famous dal, dal fry was not far behind either. It was well cooked and flavorful. The palak chaat is definitely a must try as well. A ton of variety to choose from.
