This is our favorite local shore place! Very comfortable atmosphere, fun and pleasant crowd staff is great and so is the music! We literally go every weekend from opening till closing at least one night.

My wife has been asking to come for a while, because who doesn’t love to eat on the water? I tried warning her the food here is atrocious and kept on avoiding this place. Well, I gave in and brought the family. You can honestly get better food from 7-11 down the street. The only is the worse than their food are their prices. If you wanted to come here to look at the river and drink, I’d recommend it.

Make sure you have seven forms of ID. We were there with our kids who had ID on them from Connecticut and they kicked us out because they didn't have more forms of proof. They are 24!! If that's the deal then get a scanner to tell it's real!They live in Connecticut and we're visiting. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE WE FEL MORE DISRESPECTED! We have been going there for years and this is the first time we've never had an issue. And they started the harassment when Dad and I went to the bathroom and I couldn't even talk to them about it after!! We sat there for 3 hours with no problem until we left the table. Ageism and harassment at their best!Enjoy your time at this miserable bar with miserable food and miserable people.

If you consider yourself a classy person, do yourself a favor and do not visit Eventide. Not only were we harassed multiple times to give up our seat at a table by undesirable clientele, we were profiled and treated poorly by the bouncers who were presumably under the influence. Having grown up in Jersey, just a short drive away, but now living in Connecticut—my brother, girlfriend and I were screamed at by the bouncer for having state issued driver’s licenses that he didn’t deem acceptable. We offered him to scan them to verify them, but he said the restaurant does not have the resources to buy an ID scanner. As he continued to scream at us and urge us out of our seats, people began taking our chairs. Clearly, the bouncer’s issue was because of the lack of seating, so he made up a reason to escort us out and give people our seats. This restaurant is a wonderful place for uneducated, ignorant staff. Spend your money elsewhere.Update: Just saw the owner’s response, our parents had walked away because we were getting ready to leave when the bouncer approached us. He asked one person for ID, which we gave him and he said he needed a second form of ID like a passport. He never said a credit card was a valid form of ID. Also, we were never offered wristbands. Not sure why we are being deemed entitled or rowdy when had been sitting there politely at the first come, first serve table. It’s very disappointing that this establishment is run by people who do not treat their customers properly, very sad. Wishing you all the best.

Well, I was sitting at a table with my family all afternoon. We got there at around 3 and were kicked out for no real good reason around 6. The big intimidating man-child security guard came over and asked for our id’s AFTER our parents left to use the bathroom. My brother gave his, his girlfriend gave his, and I didn’t have mine, so he took my drink, no problem. He bent and flicked my brothers girlfriends and came to the conclusion that it was fake. He asked for a backup, but never mentioned that a credit card is a valid backup. If he had mentioned that, then maybe this whole stupid thing could’ve been avoided. She said she doesn’t have another id, so he said you guys can’t drink. Sure, no problem. Take our drinks. Except, for some odd reason, your big scary man forgot to take my brothers girlfriend’s drink. We didn’t even notice at first, so she subconsciously took a sip of the drink in front of her. Then all hell broke loose. He comes over all fired up, swipes the drink from her and says in a raised voice that we gotta go. Didn’t wait for our parents to come back or anything, we had to go now. Unfair, unkind, unprofessional. I was disgusted with how this man was treating us, and I am especially disgusted with the ‘owners’ response to our reviews. As far as I know, the customer is always right, like it or not. Also for the record, we were never told anything about wrist bands. Maybe if you had taken everyone’s drink, and not (maybe purposefully) left the drink with the girl who had the suspicious id, this whole stupid thing could’ve been avoided. Maybe if your security guard didn’t perceive our calm rebuttal to his request as “initially lashing out,” this whole stupid thing could’ve been avoided, like you said. It was a real pleasure being there as the food was actually pretty good, but the culmination of our experience has driven us away forever. If you don’t believe our story, just check the cameras, you’ll see that there was no “lashing out” until we were officially kicked out. Who wouldn’t be upset after being treated so unkindly for no reason? Have a great day.

Beautiful outdoor dining. We went at around 7 so it was perfect timing and weather for sunset during dinner. For drinks I got an espresso martini with baileys and it was great! Missing my 3 espresso beans for good luck but it's okay! lol. Appetizers I think we got boom boom shrimp it was good but it had like a plantain/banana taste to it. For entrees I split with my friend and we did the Lobster Fra Diavolo which was a special and a bee sting pie. Holy moly both were so good!!! Our server was so nice I wish I remembered his name. We got a little sauce on our shirt and he brought us wipes and club soda. I definitely recommend EvenTide if you're in the area!!
