We spent Labor Day in SIC and LouDogs was our go-to lunch spot. Had some classics (LouDog, British Bulldog) and then branched out into the Hank dog and the Promenade. All the flavor combinations work well and it's about the best value around. It's nice to reminisce about the old days on 75th street, but the shop allows for more variety and less sand.
I have been going to LouDogs since I was little, but I am just taking the time to review it now. Absolutely astonishing place. Fresh rolls, fresh dogs, fresh ingredients, and one hell of an awesome story. My sister has a gluten allergie, and the employees are even kind enough to substitute the roll for her. I was just in here and saw the famous hot dog cart. This is a cool place to get hot dogs from and it is neat to see all the historical articles and photos on the walls around the reataurant. Sea isle city should name a street after lou for what he has accomplished to make the town relished by many customers and visitors have good memories over the years!
