“To recommend anything on the menu - shrimp Mac n cheese. We took this home and devoured it the moment we opened it and couldn't stop raving how good it was. My partner who doesn't even like truffle couldn't put it down. I recommend setting a reservation, we were fortunate to originally be seated at the bar, and then offered a table due to cancelations. Ambiance is very chill, low lights music playing but you're still able to have conversation. Staff is friendly Food was delish. We got -Steak frites, burger, Mac n cheese and French onion- and was not disappointed !!!“

“The coziest of the locations, the Boucherie in Greenwich is the perfect place to go for the friendliest neighborly vibes and excellent people watching. The croque monsieur melted in my mouth, and Suzanna and the rest of the staff were incredibly welcoming. So kind—felt like home!“

“Absolutely awesome hideen French Bistro is inside La Marqueta.Chef Edward and his team create mouthwatering dishes and great French pastries. One of the great dishes is their Bacalao Pie, which uses dried cod fish from Mama Grace & Nana down the hall. She's been here for over 30 years and sells a variety of dried fish. The pie is a dish the chef ate growing up in France. The fish is soaked overnight, boiled, shredded and mixed with butter, olive oil, garlic, scallions, and potatoes, baked and voila! This comforting dish is Brandade de Morue in French.Reminds me of a Shepherd's pie or like a gratin. It's warm, comforting and just a touch salty, chunks of fish and potato—really delicious!I also had the Croque Monsieur, a couple of great quiches and fresh croissants. I've been here 4 times already! They have great dishes for brunch on weekends.Don't skip on pastries like a great banana bread, lots of French cookies and treats.“

“Chef Mike's worldview, aesthetic, palette, and culinary skills harmonize to achieve a consistently superior gastronomic experience: YUM! Diner's with special food requests & restrictions are graciously accommodated. The front of house staff are well trained, so the service is balanced as friendly while impeccably professional. Whenever I visit NYC, I make a reservation to eat a delicious meal, in a convivial setting (fully renovated January 2024) at Mike's Bistro.“

“Charley is hands down my favorite restaurant in the Harrison area. From the food, the vibes, to the great cocktails, whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong. Jay behind the bar and Sam on the floor really elevate the experience by providing quality service. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“In 2018, my ex at the time and I broke up and I left public accounting to pursue a not so toxic and happier moment in industry. I decided to join Equinox as a way to make myself got to the gym. If you are spending $200+ a month on membership, you end up going to at least break even.. I took a boxing class and met a bunch of like-minded women and we've been friends ever since. However, life took its course and we all got busy with work, personal, or work and person that we do not take classes together anymore... After a long time, some of us decided to meet up for a brunch on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Someone suggested this place so we went here since the east side of the city is more convenient than the west for us. I pass this area every week to go boxing, but it is tucked away in a small street to be seen. It was a bit "hard" to find, but it is such a cute little roustic place. The girls got the lamb chops because it was recommended by a mutual friend and I got mussels escargot style. My mussels were fine, but oh my gracious, the lamb was the best I've ever had. There was one partially eaten lamb and I had to take it home. French onion soup was fine, but by the time it came to us, the cheese solidified and it seems they burnt the cheese a bit. A bit bitterness from the cheese. However, the soup itself had such good flavor. For dessert, we had creme brulee. Good custard, but the sugar on top needed more melting. We were crunching on the semi melted sugar bits. Cocktails were delicious ! I got the Place Vendome because 1. vodka 2. it has the restaurant's name. Duh! Boy after two or three, did it creep up on me. I will 100% go back here and get the lamb. It comes with a potato gratin and a side salad I think? The best lamb chops I had ever! Super impressed and I am trying to find reasons to go back there! Highly recommend.“

“I go here pretty much every Saturday for my weekly sweet treat. The crepes are really good, and cinnamon is my usual go to. The Service is very friendly, owner is also usually in store helping out whenever I'm there. It is a little small and can get busy but they do have outdoor seating as well. Not a working cafe due to the limited seating capacity but a very ambient and cute cafe to get a drink and treat for yourself. In terms of drinks, they do run a little sweet, the chai is especially a bit too sweet for myself but I love getting a Latte, iced or hot. Overall love this place and has become a part of my routine!“

“Great local bistro. We were at Mila's Bistro on a relatively busy Sunday evening and had a nice dinner. Started with the Tuna Tartare which was solid. For entrees we had the Duck Confit, Salmon, Pasta Bolognese and the Steak Au Poivre - all good with the Duck Confit perhaps standing out the most. Friendly service and reasonable prices - worth finding when in the area!“

“Best breakfast in Williamsburg! Just happened to be walking by at 8am and saw an amazing continental breakfast set up - Italian pastries, fresh juice, espresso, egg sandwiches. Everything was delicious. The owner said they'll be offering yogurt with granola and fresh fruit soon as well. My new favorite place in Brooklyn. Perfect for a quick bite before heading to Domino Park with the pup.“

“Casual brunch spot in Jersey City. The only place I could find that opened before 11AM. I think the atmosphere is better when it’s warm and you can sit outside.Place doesn’t really have any character, but the food was very good. They have brunch drink specials for $5 or $10 for a double. My friend and I both ordered Prosecco and chicken n waffles. Prosecco was $12/glass.Food was excellent. They also brought us some kind of muffin with jam which was a nice touch.“

“My girls and I were on vacation and dining for the first time in NJ. We stumbled upon this gem and each of us ordered something different. From chicken parmigiana to beet and quinoa salads. Everything was delicious and our waitress Rosi was very accommodating. We’ll definitely be back for more before we go back to Cali.“

“We came from brunch, it was all really good. I’m a big pancake fan, I’d give the buttermilk pancakes a 8.5/10. The churro waffles I’d give 10/10 but I wouldn’t be able to eat the whole thing alone because they’re so sweet. We shared one order between 4 of us as something extra and it was perfect.“

“This place is like a cozy pub, not too crowded on weekdays. They have cocktails, but they're just okay. What's really good though, are the foods! We tried their salad, buffalo chicken wings, burrata with prosciutto, and truffle fries. The wings and fries were the best, super tasty! The staff there are really friendly and nice. Plus, it's super close to the Path train and just a quick walk to the boardwalk. Great for hanging out and munching on good food!“

“Wow, last night just seemed to be a perfect evening. Wanted to try a place that was close to my friend's house and ended up finding a gem. We both had worked later than usual, and we both arrived about 8pm. There were a couple of tables available and we took the table on the far end of the restaurant. My friend had a huge and expensive bag and did not want it on the floor nor on the radiator next to us. The 1st person could not find 5 when the owner came over. He grabbed one from the closet without a fuss. He even made a few jokes about it, and I was laughing my head off!! That's how you start a great evening. This place is so cozy and romantic, and the staff is super attentive. It was the right amount of attention we both needed after our long day. Barry was our waiter and had such a good demeanor. He shared the specials of the night, including oysters, for a lower price!!! There was no way I could resist oysters! The other special was Cod and shrimp with a hint of curry on a bed of mashed potatoes. Let me tell you how good this dish was!! Although we shared that main, there was nothing left, and my friend eats very little food. We also indulged in a fried calamari appetizer prior to the Cod dinner. Totally forgot about our drinks!! My friend had the muscadet, crisp and dry, while I had Cardero Maduro brown ale on tap, which was quite nice. The reason why I went 5 in rating was all the above.; good, service and the ambiance! It is certainly a place to revisit. Btw, the bread is so fresh!!!“

“The staff made me feel extremely welcomed and gave me a glass of water while I waited for my To-Go order. They checked in to let me know that my order will be ready soon. The music was inviting and I even got approached and complimented by their photographer for my very sparking outfit! I would defiantly return to dine-in with friends or family.“

“A shoutout to Effy's Kitchen on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. Recently I’ve taken to looking on the web for restaurants not far from my son’s and daughter’s-in-law apartment and ordering some food specialties to have delivered to them every once in a while. (I moved to Italy four years ago) I know with so many things still locked down in NYC that smiles can get a bit tough to come by. I’ve found spots that have come through with good treats like sweet-potato fries and onion rings, Burrata and Prosciutto with truffle spread on pane carasau, prosecco, special cocktails, craft Pilsners and so on. Last week I did a search for Fish and Chips in the area, found three or four places and came across Effy’s. My son and his wife are super-fans of London and had missed out on a trip there in May so I figured it could be something they’d enjoy — and hopefully buoy their spirits. My only hesitancy was whether their Fish and Chips would be really good and even get CLOSE to what they’ve enjoyed on trips to London. I took a flyer on Effy’s and placed the order for two portions to be delivered as their dinner Friday night. It was delivered on time — and what a great feeling to get their messages afterward: “Oh my gosh it was so good! Thank you. I can't believe how fast I ate it. Lol. Honestly up there with one of the best fish and chips.” And “The fish and chips were amazing. We ate way too fast. It was different with a bunch of smaller pieces as opposed to one large piece but that actually probably helped it stay crisper, less greasy and hotter. We will definitely keep this one in our records.” A Dad who lives an ocean away can only do so much in practical ways, so seeing all this made me really smile. Thanks to Effy’s Kitchen for making it happen as well as I could’ve hoped.“

“The place is cute and very cozy, but prices are high. Food is tasty but needs to get quicker to the table. Food is served in a gourmet like style but bigger portions. Coffee is served beautifully 5 stars for that little detail. Other than that, the place is good and pleasant to be in. Will not choose to go back for the simple reason of the high prices.“

“One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Stayed there for 3 nights and tried Breakfest sandwich, breakfast burrito and avocado toast. All of them were delicious, especially the avocado toast. Very fresh and well seasoned. Totally recommend.“
