“I was craving a real sub. I wanted a sub shop and not a corporate type place. I enjoyed it. Everyone there was down to earth and real. I loved their banter with the music blaring from the kitchen. I love a real family place. They had all different specials hung up and even had black cherry soda and root beer in the glass bottle. I felt so comfortable and will definitely go back.Parking: Free parking lot attached to the left of the building.“
“First time trying Anthony’s. I must say amazing experience all around. The girl at the front register was so nice, the sandwich making guy in the back(who I thought was Anthony himself but I didn’t know) good personality. The inside looks spotless, great decor, and felt very cool inside.I got one of Thursday specials which is the Porchetta with the crispy skin! It comes with broccoli rabe and fresh smoked mozzarella. I must say this might be the best pork sandwich I’ve ever eaten.Great crunch to the skin, very flavorful, the broccoli rabe is a great complement and the mozz is also a great addition. Best sandwich on Staten Island.We also tried the rice ball with and without meat, and the potato croquettes. Might be best on the island. “Tiny Sub Shop that doesn't disappoint. Had a very good amount of meat & just enough lettuce, tomatoes & onions not to overshadow the sandwich. Had a whole #1 and couldn't eat the entire sandwich. This place beats the heck out of chain places.“

“I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“I saw the Mr. Subs sign on Rt 18 in East Brunswick a few times going through town. Today my wife and I took a shot and got an Italian Sub for lunch… HOLY COW… what a fantastic sandwich!!! “I had a pork roll with eggs and the eggs were cooked perfectly for a breakfast sandwich; jammy and just a little runny. Not enough to make a mess of my hands while I ate, but enough to sauce up the roll. Super delicious. They're also arranged on the sandwich so you get a bite of egg yolk in most bites, which is the optimal bite of a breakfast sandwich, imo.It's a cute little restaurant, too. Not a ton of seating inside, but the funky art on almost every surface of the walls gives you plenty to look at while you scarf down whatever tasty things you decide to order. I'm pretty confident it's all delicious, if the other food is anything like my breakfast.“

“I have never had a bad experience whether it be eating in ordering. Delivery drivers always nice and friendly and the atmosphere in restaurant is nice. Everything paninis are amazing. I don't eat meat and there are a few options already on the menu to pick from which is wonderful and considerate overall 10/10Vegetarian options: Lent special and you can create your own panini they also have a caprese panini and I'm sure other things, the menu is extensive.“

“The two gentlemen behind the counter were very pleasant. They have a decent menu selection. For the most part, it does not matter if you get a half or a whole sub because you’re not getting a deal by getting the whole sub. Example: most half subs are $7.99 whereas the whole sub is $15.99. There are a few where the whole sub gives you a $.50 savings. Today I did get a cheesesteak with extra provolone cheese, onions, hot peppers and a special hot sauce that they make. I’m glad I got the extra cheese because it definitely needed that and the condiments that were on there were very good. The meat itself didn’t taste like anything special but it wasn’t bad. It seems all of their cold cuts are Thummann’s which is high-quality. I do believe that the cheesesteak sub needed more meat. The meat itself did not even cover the bread end to end. One one end of the sub there was nothing but the bread by about 1.5” and 2” of nothing at the other end. So about 3.5 inches of the 16 inch sub was just bread. In all reality, I believe you are better off going with a half cheesesteak and double everything so you get a full sandwich with half of the bread. I cannot speak for any other sandwich as this is the first time I was there and the only item that I did purchase, as far as the entrée goes. I did get a small thing of potato salad, which was some store-bought stuff just scooped into little containers that was just meh. My meal of a cheesesteak, small potato salad and a Diet Coke can came to just over $20.“
