“The fish tacos were delicious and authentic. The green and red sauce they serve with chips were tasty and had a good amount of heat. I recommend the chicken quesadilla on a corn tortilla and would get it again. Overall peasant service and great experience!”

“This little bar is great for dinner, drinks with friends, taco Tuesday, drinks on the porch when the weather is nice or just a random drink after work. The place is beautiful inside, and the food is delicious. I have yet to meet a staff member who is rude, inattentive or unkind in anyway. We will definitely be coming back for a long time.”

“Hot Dogs done right at this place. Great prices. I tried an Alabama slammer and it threw me for a loop. Way to get the combination of flavors on point. Also the onions on a dog just simply good, but the star of the show had to be the chili dog. A winner for sure. A MUST try. The fries good and the dogs great. If you’re in the area stop and enjoy the menu. Classic joint.”

“Came here to pick up food for the second time tonight, I can say they have been absolutely amazing both times. Me and my partner got cheese flautas and my aunt got the whiskey burger. The food was exactly what we asked for and was delicious. My partner and I are vegetarian and they have lots of options for us which is awesome. Now the horchata, the large is HUGE and it is so good I didnt even want to share it lol that is how delicious it is. There was a man singing and his voice is great it made me so happy. I definitely will be coming to eat there on my birthday. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant such a hidden gem.”

“I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. Thank you so much because of you guys my party was a success! I’ll see you again sooner than later.”

“My family and I ate there for the first time on the same day of the St. Patrick’s Day parade. The place was busy but the service was excellent. I had the Margherita Honey Roni. It was the best slice of pizza I ever ate. My family also enjoyed their order. I met Nino the owner, who was very polite and professional. I would definitely take my family to eat there again.”

“I love this cozy spot in the main downtown of South Amboy. Their coffee and breakfast sandwiches are good, which is exactly what I needed. The Java Dave's special is my perfect order with pork roll (or bacon), egg and cheese with a hash brown. The girls working there are very sweet and attentive. Check it out if you're in the area.Parking: There's street parking, but you normally don't have to park far if you can parallel park.”

“My daughter had a 30th birthday party there 5 yrs ago and this past Sunday, on June 30, 2019 for her father's celebration of life and it was very clean and plenty of room for our guests. The bartender downstairs was very accommodating and friendly.”

“New owners and it's not as good but still pretty okay. Both times the bottom of the pie was pretty burned. Probably not cleaning the oven enough, or its old. I suggest screens under the pie. Slip it under once the pie is cooked a little and no more burned bottom.”

“Personally I am not an empanada fan but when I saw this place I decided to try it out and let me tell you it was the BEST empanadas I have ever had. I recommend the buffalo chicken empanada and the tres leches cake. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. The blonde guy behind the counter was very nice and the food was made quickly. “Came here on a whim cuz I needed a quick bite before the gym. Had a slice and stromboli. Regular cheese slice. This spot has good fucking pizza. Thin crisp crust. Great marinara . It was so good I ate the crust which I usually toss. I'm from nyc, but I will admit, jersey does great fucking pizza. This place is a testament to that statement. Stromboli was amazing. Cheese was so damn good. Staff was super friendly great guys with great humor. Saw a lot of regulars coming in and busting chops. Great place to have a bite. Very glad I stopped in.”

“This Italian restaurant has been around since about 1930. I have been there a few times and it's good. I was there on St Patty's and it was a madhouse in there. Our server was amazing considering how many tables she had. The pizza was good, but not great unfortunately. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking. That being said, it's lasted so long for a reason and I'll go back.”
