We were on the way out of the city and wanted to try somewhere different. We researched diners on the way and stopped in Hackensack for the Runway Diner. Great experience, friendly courteous and prompt staff. The menu was extensive and well priced and big portions.Better prices than NYC - we never saw any issues with the staff and the diner was two thirds full - so busy but staff looked after us. Recommended without hesitation.
Great experience. Take for two. One breakfast ( pancakes eggs and bacon) and the other was a bunless Burger with cheese, Caramelized onions, and, tomato. We even got an appetizer. Fried calamari with red peppers. Delicious! Will come back
