“Really good — lives up to its name! We mainly do vegetarian options and they are so tasty. We never feel that horrible overused oil taste that we feel when eating from some other Chinese eateries.The people are always nice too when I place the order and when I pick up the food.My only feedback is that I wish the general Tso’s bean curd was crispy.Gets 1 star for atmosphere only because it is not a sit down place (it is pick up only) so there is not much invested in the atmosphere really (which is understandable).”

“My family and are from California. We’ve been a JBJ fan since the beginning. We were visiting our son who is stationed at McGuire AFB. We took a family trip to JBJ Soul Kitchen because we wanted to give donation to the community. The servers were all very welcoming. The food was excellent! We all enjoyed the experience. “Ate there for the first time. 0rdered their Children Parm Dinner. Another member of my party had the Eggplant Parm Dinner. They serve it with homemade bread. The food was tasty and moist. The sauce is not runny and tastes fresh. The meat was tender. Their portion size is large. The chicken was one large piece. Not 2 very small pieces hidden under a lot of cheese and sauce. The gentlemen that were running it were very friendly. It is a small store with great food and service. The serve a variety of food from pizza, calzones and heroes. The store is well lit and clean.”

“Saw some banners on the road for Spire and decided to stop in to give it a try. So glad I did. Decadent coffee drinks and desserts. And. And. And. They also sell Ob-Co donuts. Doesn’t get much better than that. Coffee was really smooth and tasty. Crumb cake was amazingly fresh. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a calm and cool place to enjoy a coffee with friends. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.”

“It was a bit hard to find the restaurant (for an out of towner) in the dark, as there is no signage facing the street and the property includes a catering hall. We parked at the wrong side of the facility and went into the catering hall. One of the waiters directed us to the restaurant, whose entrance was on the other side. The ambiance is nice there - dimmed lighting and modern furniture. After we ordered, the service was a bit slow. The portions were generous and tasty. The Chicken Marsela was delicious but overcooked and the edges were chewy. It needed 5 minutes less cook time.”

“The best kosher fried chicken I have had.Perfectly fried chicken with a crunch.The original fried chicken is amazing. This should definetly be on your list to get a bucket of them.Waiting time was was shown at 7 minutes for orders. while ours came in just 5 minutes from making the order on one of the screens. A selection of sauces are available to go with the chicken.There is no seating as this is takeout only, but drinks, cutlery, plates and everything needed is available to go with your order.Looking forward to going back soon”

“This is my second time eating a mini Bundt but first time gluten free. The pop up flavor was gf lemon raspberry and it didn't disappoint. It tasted just like a non gluten free Bundt cake and was moist and delicious. This flavor is a definite keeper. I bought my mom the chocolate chocolate chip mini Bundt and she said it was yummy. The Toms River location is in a strip mall with ample parking. The inside is sparkling clean and the staff are very nice and helpful.”
