This place is an institution. There's a level of care and attentiveness that you only find with the classic Italian restaurant. I grew up on this place and I'm so glad to see it still standing. There is all your standard fare with some modern surprises peppered in on the specials. What they do, they do well, but the biggest draw is the service. Management will make the rounds and make you feel like royalty. There's a bar, dining area and a second floor available to rent. It was where my family held many a christening and rehearsal dinner. Here's to many more good memories at Marco Polo.

In NJ for just a short stay...a friend brought us here and it was spectacular..we sat at the bar to watch football on the TV's...the bartender immefiately greeted us and took our drink order..menus followed quickly..the variety of Italian dishes was impressive!..then the freshly baked bread came out...mouth-watering!...I had the shrimo fra diavlo and it was the best I've ever had..the sauce was just sooooo good! You can't go wrong here!.. just a terrific restaurant!

Nice home style Italian. Nothing fancy, but it's a tradition. It's probably closer to 3 stars and there's certainly better Italian food in the area.

Had a wonderful dinner with my family at the Marco Polo. I used to come here once in a while when I was a kid back in the 80s. It was my aunt and uncle's favorite restaurant. I had not been here in 30+ years. It was like a time capsule, stepping back into that classic Italian restaurant look, which is not a bad thing. The food was delicious, and the service was great. I'll definitely be back. My only pet peev was being charged for a soda refill.... stop doing that.Parking: Huge lot behind the building, enter off of Morris Ave.

We were there for a Christmas work party, the bartenders were super friendly and so was the owner! Food was great and so were the drinks! 10 out of 10!

We order a lot from Marco Polo, pizza is great, food is really good...but for Thanksgiving, they cheat! Mashed potatoes are from the box mix, and sweet potatoes are just plain, not peeled, I wouldn't give it to a homeless person, I would be ashamed. For the price you pay?!

All signage and Google maps says open at 11:00am. Stood in the cold to make 2 phone calls to get someone to pick up that it opens at 11:30AM. Adjust signage for accuracy.

My grandfather used to come here often so I figured I'd give it a chance as I was visiting the old neighborhood. I was excited to read about the changes they were making on their website but couldn't really tell what had changed. The server wasn't particularly friendly. Seemed to be in a bad mood. Food was alright. The shoe string zucchini was amazing I will say.
