In NJ for just a short stay...a friend brought us here and it was spectacular..we sat at the bar to watch football on the TV's...the bartender immefiately greeted us and took our drink order..menus followed quickly..the variety of Italian dishes was impressive!..then the freshly baked bread came out...mouth-watering!...I had the shrimo fra diavlo and it was the best I've ever had..the sauce was just sooooo good!You can't go wrong here!.. just a terrific restaurant!
Had a wonderful dinner with my family at the Marco Polo. I used to come here once in a while when I was a kid back in the 80s. It was my aunt and uncle's favorite restaurant. I had not been here in 30+ years. It was like a time capsule, stepping back into that classic Italian restaurant look, which is not a bad thing. The food was delicious, and the service was great. This place is an institution. There's a level of care and attentiveness that you only find with the classic Italian restaurant. I grew up on this place and I'm so glad to see it still standing. There is all your standard fare with some modern surprises peppered in on the specials. What they do, they do well, but the biggest draw is the service.
