The personal 12inch keeps getting smaller. 10inches last time ordered a day or 2 ago. Today not a full 9inch. Response from restaurant, that's our 12 inch personal. Used to be a great place and Service. Now that he's trying to sell the restaurant they seem to be skimping on the amount food they give. This was $13.75 . Got to blaze folks get all toppings for the price.

6 of us went for an early dinner tonight. The service was excellent... very attentive. The food was delicious. We had the spiedini appetizer. So yummy! The calamari was so tender. Everyone's main course main course was wonderful and we topped off dinner with tiramisu. Let's just say, we'll be going back soon!!

If you don't like mushrooms, ask for no mushrooms. The chef will put mushrooms on it regardless of what the menu says. The staff is also very rude.

Ordered takeout for a family dinner. Was average. My chicken saltimbocca was average at best, no wow factor.. not breaded, served in a marsala sauce, weak on the prosciutto.

After passing this restaurant for years we stopped in on Saturday and were so happy we did. From the second we walked in and was greeted by the bartender. The place was warm and inviting. Promptly seated and our waiter came over and introduced himself (Morgan) and offered menus. We started with spedini Ala romana. It was excellent, properly made and the brown anchovy sauce was wonderful. We don't eat carbs all week so we can have a treat on the weekends. Wow! I had the tortellini in parmesean cream sauce with peas and prosciutto. Absolutely fantastic. Lydia got the linguine with white clam sauce and man it was delicious. A perfect portion, loaded with clams and flavor. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert. A great evening with my beautiful wife and a truly wonderful dinner start to finish. Thank you Vitales.

We were looking for some comfy Italian Food this past Saturday night. Frigid temps don't stop us from...food. Full disclosure, we were planning to go to a place in South Hackensack and didn't think anyone else was dumb enough to dine out on such a ridiculously cold evening, and I am here to say that, yes, we weren't the only maniacs. The place we went to first was half empty, but their rez book was full, so out the door we went. Thanks the goddesses who intervened for us. We never would have gone to where we ended up having a most delightful meal: Vitale's on Queen Anne Road in Teaneck (across from Peck Peck Chicken, for you wing aficionados). We walked in to a surprisingly large barroom -- deep woods, two long bars, and high-tops. The bartender walked us through to their dining rooms. We were seated in a glass enclosed Garden Room and immediately I told the bartender that it would be too cold -- He said it was fine and it certainly was toasty. We were deep into our menus when our foodserver came by for drink orders. He put down on the table a bread board with a hot crispy boule and a dishful of what we figured was Vitale's take on bruschetta. Holy cow. If you love red onion and well seasoned yum, you will go nuts for this. We sliced up the bread, drizzled it with excellent olive oil, and piled on that bruschetta. Fresh, crunchy, layers of flavor -- more please. All we wanted to start was Spiedini Alla Romana, a dish hard to find and when you do, rarely is what it's supposed to be. Here's what's up with this fabulous appie: Bread, mozz, coated and deep fried, and covered with a glorious sauce of garlic, white wine, anchovies, capers, parsley. It's a deceptively simply dish that goes horribly awry most of the time. Praise those chefs at Vitale's. That Spiedini was next level delightful. It arrived crispy and hot, swimming in that sauce. We pounced. Entrees come with soup or salad. I took the Veggie Minestrone, and Gar took the salad. The soup was tasty and served hot (yes sometimes it's an issue). The salad was fine. I was craving Linguine in White Clam Sauce, another dish that looks simple, but can be bland and sad. Not this one. First of all, it arrived in a huge, deep soup bowl with at least 2 inches of tender chopped clams hiding the pasta (perfectly cooked to al dente), with four freshly shucked clams as garnish. Gary had the Tortellini with Prosciutto, Cream and Peas and he was simply over the moon with the flavor explosion. I am not a fan of Peas, but I did take some of his pasta -- it was lovely. Now, I don't save room for dessert usually, but I actually stopped myself from looking for the bottom of my bowl and asked the waiter to wrap up the rest for me. We split a tiramisu and called it a night. The bill was another surprise. It was reasonable. Considering how many places are looking to make up for shutting during the pandemic, it was...refreshing and cemented the fact we will be back, this time for their pizza and a few beers. Go. Love them. And tip well. All the servers came by to see how we were, the food was, and hey how's that coffee holding up -- they are dedicated, they care, and damn that food is wonderful.

Easy parking onsite, super friendly owner, amazing staff, generous portions but food taste and quality could be better. If you are a local, hungry and in the area or want a good spot for a party, it a ok. Vitales.....it still has a pulse. In!

There is nothing special about this place. The food tasted salty and the texture was soggy. The only thing we liked was the warm bread.
