“I had the gnocchi and it was absolutely AMAZING! Not only that, but I saw that they had cheesecake so I tried a slice and can I just say, I was in HEAVEN! “Small café was soooo good! They had a short 20 minute wait when I arrived. The waiting area is tiny. You could purchase a coffee at the counter while you wait. I love everything here! The food is top tier. We ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch crepe and the Dulce de Leche crepe. Both were delicious!! Our server was Adam, I believe, ( or Aaron). He was quick and super attentive. “As someone who was born in Slovakia, Europe, I was extremely pleased to hear that this location exists and serves Kürtősh. In my native country this a traditional (Hungary native) dessert served on the streets and festivals. I have visited this location last week and upon arrival, my girlfriend and her friends were welcomed to a warm and professional atmosphere, with the owner not only being passionate and extremely knowledgeable, but having lived in Hungary herself and truly caring for each and every ingredient that goes into making this tasty dessert. Each ingredient is imported directly from Europe. Trust me, being born there and lived here for over a decade the ingredients do VERY MUCH differ in quality. Kürtősh, which I ordered 4 of, tasted exactly like the one you’ll find in Europe. They even go a step further and coat it with different toppings such as coconut, sprinkles, walnuts and can add ice cream into it which is an outstanding idea. For those who never tried this treat I wholeheartedly recommend it because it tastes nothing like the typical processed desserts you’ll find here. It’s quite the delicacy.“

“I ordered catering for my birthday event last weekend and the food was amazing! I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! I also ordered catering from here back in February for my galentines party and the food was also a success during that time. “WOW - found this hidden gem as I was craving soup on a snowy day only to realize this place is less than 5 min from me. My favorite soup is Italian wedding and happened to be the day it was being served! I ordered delivery of the soup and Cuban panini and instantly fell in love. The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

“Twisted Tulip is a cute and cozy cafe with a very relaxing vibe. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk and the latte of the day 'Vanilla Rose Latte'. The Latte of the day was good but the rose/vanilla aspect was very not very pronounced. The other latter was also good. They offer a good variety of drinks, pastries, sandwiches, etc., The decor was unexpected (graffiti styles) with the name being twisted tulip, but it was a bright fun look. They have stools along a glass window, as will as tables/chairs and a cozy corner with a little couch, and a shelf of books (all very inviting) They also have outdoor seating but there seems to be a lot of construction happening around the building...hopefully it will be done by the time its warm enough to sit outside. I ordered their beet salad, falafel waffle, stuffed grape leaves, and stuffed kebeh. I intended on ordering the dandelion greens, but they were not available, which was disappointing. The food I did receive, though, was a nice window into their menu.The stuffed kebeh was my favorite, a nice crispy shell with a nutty flavor, juicy ground beef inside, with just a little pomegranate syrup to add a bit of tangy sweetness.I'd love to come back and try some of their sandwiches or an entree in the future.
