“Literally just left from a brunch there. I pre booked the “Babe Cave” for a 9 person reservation. We had four family style items with a salad & OJ and lemonade carafes for mixers since it’s BYOB. The aesthetic is phenomenal, the service was great, and the food was on point. We had the lobster tostado which had an chipotle drizzle that was amazing. I’m not a wing person but I thoroughly enjoyed the sticky wings. The French toast was good as well, it was just a bit too much of the sugar mixture on it. The waffles were thin and not doughy and had a slight crunch like a scone. “I have wanted to visit the Sweets & Cafe Bakery for a long time. It is a few blocks away from my dentist, and I finally had the opportunity to visit last Friday, March 8, 2024. The service was excellent, and the two staff people who took and served my order were very professional, friendly and helpful. The cafe con leche was MUY DELICIOSO, and the ocho with guava and cream was also very tasty. The place was so clean, and the bathroom was also very clean and well-stocked, too. I look forward to returning as soon as I can.“
“Incredible coffee. Pour over is super smooth and best I've ever had. Staff experienced with all things coffee and use specific equipment and timers to make sure the coffee comes out with the best flavor. We had the most wonderful dinner there, with James, the owner explaining how he and his wife started the little restaurant. I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! My son's Eggs Benedict was delish and the bread wasn't the usual English muffin instead a thick slice of heavenly toast. The avocado toast was unbelievable and scrumptious. “I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

We got there vegan version of a Philly Cheesesteak and a Blt and being from philly this could be blasphemous but it was very tasty and much better then some steak sandwiches i had in philly. Just no there is no dining inside so we took it to go.“

There were no burnt spots, the bread was fresh, and the bacon was crispy and soft. Had to get the Nutella Pancakes, which were so fluffy and did not disappoint. I definitely come here often and study and enjoy the environment and vibes of cafe. It can get a little hectic and loud when there are inconsiderate people around but all in all one of my fav cafes. The only negative I must comment on is that their sandwiches sit under a heated lamp so their bagels can get a bit soggy. “I found this place awhile ago, a woman in my town makes amazing homemade cheesecakes and recently started selling them here. Checked out the shop on Yelp and the food also looked very delicious and was on a mission to try this place out the next time I was in Hackensack. I would consider this place a gourmet Italian coffee shop. Sounds weird but it is just beyond amazing. They have pasta there for sale that I believe is imported from Italy which I decided to take home a bag for myself. They also have Italian beverages and jars of marinated vegetables they sell. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, I went in wanting this pasta and the owner was working, he told me he only does pasta specials on Wednesday but offered to whip me up something if that's what I wanted which I thought was really nice of him to offer! I didn't want him to go through all that just for one dish so I decided to try the chicken Parmesan and my husband ordered a chicken cutlet. The bread was SO FRESH and the sauce was made to perfection, I was amazed at every bite I took. I also tried my husbands chicken cutlet and it was also outstanding. We finished our meals and then decided to have some of that homemade cheesecake (which I already knew would be delicious) and some coffee. The owner was very genuine and kind and we enjoyed talking to him. Great service great food. Easily 5 star worthy and I already can not wait to return.“

We did have to wait a little before getting helped bc each group pretty much gets a little history of where the place started, and there's only one person who speak to the customers. The ice cream seems to be high quality and the cones are made to order! I personally don't prefer the cone texture, even though they're fresh they're still a little dense. But I'd def come back and get a cup with a smaller portion of the cone.“
