“My 1st time having Korean fried chicken. Been wanting to have it for a long time. Came across this gem and I'm a fan.Chicken is fried fresh to order so please be patient. I ordered the 5pc Golden original just so I can taste the overall flavor. Nicely fried to a crispy and juicy texture. The guy at the register Kim bought me over a side of their Secret Sauce to try it. Not too sweet or spicy but it's sticky. The 1st time having pickled daikon also. Very refreshing and a palate cleanser. Love it“

“It was packed to the door when we arrived and we hesitated that it would be a long wait. We decided to see it through and waited on line. The wait actually wasn't so bad as we waited a table cleared up so I grabbed one as my husband waited to place an order. The line moved along fairly well and after placing the order I believe we waited probably 10 minutes and the food came out. It was hot and fresh and tasty. Fries were perfect and the slider was great and not too much of anything. Absolutely love Dave's“

“We moved from Fort Lee to Carlstadt area a year ago and struggled to find good Korean Fried Chicken nearby. Tried this today and it’s delicious! Family owned and very authentic to me. It came with a large serving of Coleslaw for my 20 pcs wing order. Crispy and saucy but doesn’t feel greasy. We will definitely be coming back whenever we want KFC!“

“Birdies is another new halal hot chicken spot in Jersey. Everything was delicious from tenders to the sandwiches. The sauce was nothing short of incredible. However, what really set this place apart from the others to me was the amazing staff and their wonderful service. I ordered the "Hedium" spice level for my sandwich and unfortunately found it much too spicy for my liking, so I decided to order another one but in mild. Without me asking, the cashier made it on the house. I really appreciated that they did that for me, and I definitely recommend making the trip to try this place. I look forward to returning many times as well.“

“I had seen Lauren's check when they had a front on 23rd or 24th in NYC but never visited. On my way back from Orange County I saw this location on route 17 and decided to try. Chicken fry of Korean style. Good is well good and priced comparable to other fast food chains.“

Great price, great care for packaging and fantastic hot chicken.I believe this used to be a Korean fried chicken place that rebranded. This is a good thing. I phoned in my order as with most places that fry on the spot; they need 20 minutes.Got the Jerry's hot chicken A1($9.99), and W1(Originally 3 piece but this changed to 6 piece wings, also $9.99). I see why the number of wings changed, it was originally 3 whole wings but has changed to 6 wings that are drum and flats. Both came with fries, they seem handcut but not really crispy. Still pretty good.Reading over the reviews I went with extra hot on both orders, it's got a good kick but not unbearable. I would say if you order two things, get it done hot one way and extra hot the other. The sandwich was as expected, fantastic with the jerry's sauce and massive. The wings have a nice texture and would seem to be a bit on the saltier side. I'm ok with that but I think the order would be perfect if they gave a side of the jerry's sauce to dunk the wings with.Parking is across the street and there is no place to eat there, it's pretty much a takeout only spot. “I was working in Montclair, and I asked someone who worked at the building I was at if there were any good lunch spots around. Roosters was highly recommended. “I have never heard of this place . It’s Good Friday and I have been in the mood for fried chicken however didn’t want to spend so much at Popeyes or chicken supreme . Was in the area so I google I am so happy I went with this choice . For $15 easy on the wallet and it’s in a great spot however if your driving to fast you will miss the turn . I ordered bbq wings and 3 piece meal well as you can see the end result 10 out of 10 grabbed menus for the family will not be ordering anywhere else but here . All you need is $10 literally !!!!!“

“This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. Their prices and portions are above average compared to similar businesses. Definitely recommend. I wish they had longer hours!!!“

“This is one of the eateries I visit when in town. Although I don’t live in Paterson anymore Paterson hands down has some of the best food. The food here is always worth it, I always have leftovers.Pros: Reasonable pricing, large portion sizes and the food is consistently delicious.Cons: Parking is crappy, it’s meter parking and all the parking spots are always taken.Parking: Don’t double park it’s dangerous because cars like to fly down the street and officers are out to give tickets.“

The ramen was so good and the gimbap was great. The owner was pretty dang sweet as well. My only issue was the Kpop in the background. Crazy enough Alex used to deliver to my home when i was a young kid! years later Alex, new owner, took over in 2017, he brought upon a different spice to each meal he serves.
