Been going there since I was a kid, best place to get curry shrimp, Mac and cheese, and oxtail. Would definitely recommend it if you want real food

Ordered a veggie platter which consisted of rice and peas, cabbage, and collaloo. I asked for some brown stew gravy on the rice which they had no problem doing. The place is very clean and updated. The woman who took my order was very pleasant although it took a bit but that's the be expected. Total came out to $11.00 for a medium platter; small wasn't an option. Good had really good flavor. Just a warning that it was spicy. I happen to like my food spicy so it wasn't a problem but be warned that you will taste a kick. The call all tasted fresh. The cabbage was also fresh and tasty and looked like good quality cabbage. The rice and peas also looked good and tasted very good. The rice wasn't overly cooked at all and tasted just right. If there was only one complaint it was the lack of enthusiasm of the worker in front. I asked if my order was ready and I received a look as if I was bothering him as he placed my food order on the counter without saying anything. I was going to address it but I was in a rush. Overall the food was good and I plan on ordering it again.

Okay ! Let's just start by saying never again ! I guess I was expecting too much ! I ordered the Curry Goat and Oxtail platters for a total of 38.00 ! The rice was extremely dry and overcooked ! The Curry Goat was a rob job ! Nothing but Goat bones and fat ! Just repulsive and nasty ! Oxtail let's say they gave me six Oxtail Nuggets the size of nickels ! You never ever have to worry about me or friends ever buying from this place again ! It looks like they upgraded to a newer building and the food has lapsed ! Good Luck Bamboo ! Your not gonna last long with this Jafakin' food your pushing ! WARNING ! Avoid This Joint !

I enjoyed the J*** Chicken Wings, Curry Chicken and the Jamaican patties from here very much!! I also like their new location and look. While waiting for my food I could even shop some of the spices you don't normally find in your local super market. We scored some j*** bbq sauce that we now LOVE.

Bamboo food is good! I ordered the red snapper fish with a side of rice & beans, plantains and cabbage. The red snapper was delicious!! It was seasoned perfectly, it did have a lil kick to it but I didn't mind. If the plantains were soft, I would of been so happy! I will return in the future.

yes the food is delightful. The portion ratio to price is o.k. I would like more food for the price. I must say however that the oxtail, j*** chicken & cabbage is everything! Should I say every-ting !!

Love their new location! Such a smart move to transform it into a market. My all time favorite is Brown stew chicken, perfect hint of spice the rice and peas is always good and the Mac & cheese is to die for. I gotta limit this place to once a month to keep my body goals lol
Tucked away in Trenton but I must admit the flavors are huge and the portions are Right and the price is fair. I bought my food for take out. I purchased the oxtail. Mac and cheese, rice and peas. I'm glad I requested extract gravy because my rice would have been a little dry. The oxtails are tender and full of flavor. The Mac and cheese is cheese and good. This place is worth the 15 minute wait. I would definitely come back.

called ahead to see if they had chicken patties available for pick up, they said yes. I go to the establishment, see a sign saying masks are mandatory, walk in and the kid behind the counter is chatting it up with his friend who is leaning on the counter with no mask! slightly concerning during a time of pandemic but anyways. I ask the kid behind the counter for two chicken patties. pretty simple yea? I get my patties and leave to find out he gave me TWO BEEF PATTIES INSTEAD OF CHICKEN PATTIES. all you had to do was put the right patties in the bag. an overall piss poor experience, one star is being generous lol
