“The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of authentic Brazilian dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. The highlight of my meal was the churrasco-style grilled meats and the grilled octopus, which is a must-try dish. The octopus was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, making it a standout item on the menu. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with a lively atmosphere that added to the overall dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal.“
“Absolutely fantastic. My partner has celiacs and it was so special to be able to go out for a really nice meal and share our food without worry. The food came out quickly, it was delicious, and the service was great. I will absolutely be coming back and will be recommending it to everyone!Dietary restrictions: Fantastic Gluten Free food!!!!!“
“The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly. I love the coxinhas, the x-frango is a great sandwich and the pastelão is the best. Sometimes I order one of the party trays of mini coxinhas if I ever have to go somewhere and they're always a hit. 10 out of 10, would recommend any day.“
“This restaurant is delicious!!!!!I had a very tasty and fresh sausage today! All the food is very delicious and I love it when I can stop by this place, I know there is always something delicious to eat❤️I also love their pudding❤️❤️❤️“
“Small place but saw the ratings and thought my wife (who is Brazilian) would give it a shot for breakfast. The food was made fresh and was it ever delicious ?. The crepe with Carmel, bananas and cinnamon was RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS.Parking: Parked across the street, easy to find and walk over.“
“Excellent food in a very cozy and Brazilian atmosphere. We ordered a mixed barbecue for 4 and everything was delicious. We were served by Natalia, super attentive and polite. For dessert we had pudding, delicious. It's worth eating there.“
“A friend and I stopped by after driving for hours looking at apartments. We were just hungry and desperate for good food. Divina Frontera exceeded any expectations we had. We came around 6-7pm and everything we ordered (which was a lot) still came out fresh and delicious. I must say one of the things I’m most excited about moving to Elizabeth is being close to this gem.“
“So many empadinhas, so little time! They got empadas, rizzolis, coxinhas, pães doce, bolo de milho, broas, sonhos.... Everything extraordinary beautiful, clean and super friendly. You can take them cold, room temperature, freezing or hot. I loved thd place and its owners are super efficient and ultra nice!!“
“Jacaré is a bar where as soon as you enter you feel at ease, cold beer and delicious snacks such as fried cassava, crispy pork rinds, etc. At night there is karaoke where everyone sings with you, even the bar owner who masterfully manages his business.“
“Food was great, lots of options! Family orientated, servers were very professional and willing to help in anyway possible. Food portions were huge! Atmosphere was beautiful especially the wall up to the upstairs to eat. Always a table available, never had to wait!“
“The best Brazilian restaurant in NJ. Delicious food, each bite is a flavorful journey through Brazil's rich culinary heritage, from tender churrasco to savory feijoada. The attentive staff ensures every need is met with warmth and hospitality, making every visit a memorable. A must-visit for any food enthusiast seeking an authentic taste of Brazil!“
“Cool spot. My family and I tried this place out last week. We loved the decor and the cleanliness of the place. I ordered the shrimp and garlic as a meal. They added a side of rice. It was very tasty. It wasn’t salty and super seasoned like most places. The portion was a nice size for 18$. My husband ordered picanha - the meat was fresh and cooked well. It was missing a little salt for our taste but that’s an easy fix. The deserts were amazing (variety) and the coffee was too. It’s family friendly. They have parking out front for a few cars. Street parking maybe a problem on weekends but it’s worth the try.“
“An experience that I recommend for any “Brazilian” Sushi lover. The variety is so great, it’s impossible to eat everything. Tasty food and fantastic service. We chose the rotation option and the very attentive Rodrigo didn't keep us waiting. Great service and nice music!“
“Beautiful place with attentive waiters, delicious food ? exquisite drinks ? and awesome music. Highly recommend this place for a night out to drink with your friends or to celebrate ? a special occasion with your family. They also have private rooms for your private parties.“
“This was the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. We stumbled upon it by accident after striking out with two other restaurants in the area, and I’m so glad we did! The place was elegant, service was friendly and extremely attentive, and the food quality and quantity were impressive! Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.“
“The service is very good, they are very friendly. The food is good, they have good seasoning, I ate several skewers, the only one I didn't like was the shrimp one, the flavor was good, but very uncomfortable to eat because the shrimp do not come peeled and it is very difficult to consume them.Parking: They don't have parking, you can park on the street.“
“Ponto de Encontro is a small family-owned Portuguese bakery and deli found in Hillside. As is expected of a Portuguese cafe, they make delicious coffee and espresso. The owner was very friendly and makes you feel warm and welcome! The menu overhead lays out prices and sandwich options, such as the Portuguese breakfast staple, the tosta mista. For baked goods, which are homemade, I noticed that they had pao de deus, bolo de arroz, and pastel de natas. For savory snacks, they have bolinhos de bacalhau (codfish balls) as well as a variety of flavored empanadas and croquettes. I went for an espresso along with a nata and a bolinho de bacalhau. The nata was excellent - a defined crisp crust and the perfect amount of filling and creaminess.“
“The churro bites (dolce leite/ caramel and brigaderio/ chocolate were a great little treat. Pretty doughy, so they can fill you up unexpectedly. I ate them warm, seems like they'd be tasty cold as well. Chocolate version had a slightly thinner inside - both kind of pop in your mouth when you eat them. They have the Guarana soda as well. Small spot, mainly for pick up but they let me eat at the counter with no issue. Very clean space, very nice staff.“
“I live in the Ironbound, but the prices and quality of food is so much better here. The meat is of excellent quality and the service is great. If you come on a Sunday like I did, get here before 1pm because it gets packed quickly. The place is small but very nice. The parihada for 2, is enough for 3 or 4.“
