“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.”

“I love coming to Tandoori Chef for dinner. The restaurant has 4 booth-like tables and has excellent service as well as a nice expansive menu with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This authentic Indian restaurant has a very friendly staff that is accommodating when asked for recommendations or extra pitas or sauce. \n\nAlso a great take-out restaurant with food ready in 20 minutes or less. Plenty of parking in Maplewood Village.”

“Overall a fun night, the entertainment and the food were good. The food was better than expected.

The only downside were the alcohol prices. $27 for a double jack and coke which included a souvenir glass, which you have to buy and the refill was $19.

We went with a group of 11 for my daughter birthday. Be prepared to pay a $6 per person mandatory gratuity if you party is 10 or more. people.”

“One of the best meals I’ve had in Bergen County. A really elevated dining experience with nice options at every course. The focaccia was great to start with, every single salad was fantastic, I loved the pork Milanese, but the homemade gnocchi was incredible.

Lemon tart to finish was balanced and elegant.
