“This restaurant is my favorite Chinese food in our area. The owners work so hard and have great pride in the excellent food they make. There are two people working there. Be patient. They are busy. The Singapore Mei Fun and shrimp with Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce are so good.“

“Recently we (me and my husband) were visiting Morristown for work and it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We decided to make it special by trying out Indian and Indo-Chinese Buffet at Spice Route. We were warmly welcomed by the host and really loved their hospitality. The choice of appetizers was amazing. Indo chinese did not disappoint. Only suggestion I can provide is to increase number of vegetarian items a bit. Overall our experience was great and would certainly recommend it to someone who needs a change and skip cooking over a weekend.“

“Food was amazing! The service was fast and the staff were super kind! Somebody I think was the owner was super sweet and kept checking in on us! The atmosphere is great, it's a cozy, quiet, little restaurant, perfect for a calm dinner after a long day! We ordered the peking duck and a couple soups, as well as steamed shrimp dumplings. The dumplings were amazing and so were the soups! We got a whole duck for $70, while a bit pricey it was worth every penny! I absolutely adored this restaurant and it will definitely become one of my family's go to Chinese places! Can't reccomend enough!“

“I've heard a lot of great things about this place, so when I happened to be in the area, I made sure I finally checked it out and I'm so glad that I did. I went on a late Saturday afternoon, so the wait wasn't too long. I bet it was probably busier during the actual lunch time. My friends and I got the following: #16 - spicy ground pork over hand-pulled noodles #44 - scallion pancake Noodle #2 - beef with hand pulled noodle soup They were all very good, but we really liked the spicy ground pork dish. We actually wanted to try the wide noodles, so we actually ordered just some of them plain and mixed them with the leftover spicy pork sauce. It actually tasted better with the wide noodles. I usually always add hot oil to my food whenever I get a chance, but the spicy ground pork had a perfect kick to it, so didn't need the hot oil at all. However, the one dish I was surprised and really liked was the complimentary side dish of a cucumber salad, made with very simple seasonings according to our server. It was soooooo good and went so well with all the dishes and added freshness to the rich food we were eating. My friend even ordered some to take home, which was around $6/$7 (can't remember exact price). If you do go, don't skip the cucumbers. Not a fancy or big place, but the turn over is pretty quick because the service is fast, so food comes out very quick. If you're in the area and you want good food, this is a place you must stop by. I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.“

“This place is on point!!! My husband and I both got the Singapore Mei Fun and it was delicious. Just the right amount of spice and it was delivered on time and it was super HOT!!!! I highly highly recommend this place. Oh, and the delivery driver was extremely friendly.“

“This is one of my favorite no frills hole in the wall spots! It's a mom and pop shop run by a mother and her son. They make Chinese food that is more Southern style (I believe they're from Yunnan) and are consistent with their quality of food. They're cash only, super old school since they don't do delivery or have a phone number and are only open on certain days of the week (at the time of writing, 4 days a week). So be sure to check the posted store hours before you go! If you get any of their noodles it always comes with a side of their homemade chili oil and it's so fragrant and flavorful! It has a little hit but isn't too spicy. It's one of my favorite parts of their noodle dishes and honestly they should probably bottle and sell it. They have a few types of noodles: regular noodles (wheat), knife cut noodles (much thicker and they have an irregular texture) and mixian (rice noodles). Their mixian is very smooth and a good option if you want a slightly lighter noodle. I opt for the knife cut noodles when I want some texture and something heavier. They also have a few vegetable dishes that are simple but give you some balance if you like veggies with your meal. My go tos are the spicy noodle of my choice with the meat sauce or the non spicy version with meat sauce. In our most recent visit I got the spicy mixian with meat sauce and my partner got the mixian with meat sauce with an added egg. You'll see the chili oil pictured as well. I also included a picture of the stir fried cabbage from another visit! Though a bit out of the way if you're not in NJ, I've now managed to introduce the spot to two of my friends and they liked it as well! I'm always happy when I come here and we'll continue to frequent Lucky Foo. I'm so glad they survived Covid and still seem to be doing well. We'll keep coming back as long as they're open!“

“I'm not a vegetarian myself, but the allure of Veggie Heaven can't be denied. They make all the classics and more with completely vegetarian / vegan sources of protein such as soy, seitan, mushrooms, etc.I've been here a number of times and a must try are the chicken nuggets with their signature sweet sauce. They nail he texture and taste.Restaurant is massive, so there's almost always walk-in seating available. Occasionally, there's a wait.Looking forward to exploring more of the menu in the future... thanks for the food!“

I won't rehash what everyone else says regarding that, everything on the menu is very good.But one dish in particular I will add is awesome: "the inflation special" (my own name label). It's braised pork sauce, rice, vegetable, and an egg for less than $10. You can add Taiwanese sausage if you want for $3 more. This is a such a steal in this insane economy we're in right now.It's a really good quick easy lunch or dinner option. I've gotten it when I'm lazy or just want a dish that isn't too heavy. Get it! Cheap and tasty.“

“Really good food..good quality ingredients for the price point..food took a while and wasn’t told how long and ended up waiting in the restaurant for nearly 25 min. It was busy, so can’t blame them, but would have been nice to know it was going to be a wait. The inside is clean, but standard setup. Chicken Lo Mein was great! Kung Pao chicken seemed to have more vegetables than Chicken, but still tasted great!“

“So - I have a lot of allergies and eating issues- I was LATE to eat anything and late to pick up my order. They said it was ready - and let me tell you how much I appreciate these people. They served it when I walked in. My rice and beef with broccoli were hot. And stayed hot while I finished my errands. No MSG (I’m allergic and it hurts :/ ) and I still have more left over for today. It’s close to where I run my daily errands. They’re really great and patient!“

I've had so many different kinds, but this is the best place I've ever had food from. Obviously, we didn't try everything, but they're so super nice and the dumplings with that sauce omgosh can I please buy that in a bottle?Never usually liked those sauces, but it's banging!!!! “Me and my son had a chinese craving so we ordered here. Never been before. We shared and it was actually enough for us. We got the chicken lo mein which was sooo good. Not too greasy either, like the right amount of flavor/sauce. Beef with broccoli was also very tasty. They gave a good amount of beef. The broccoli was not soggy at all. Still had great texture. The almond cookies were also tasty. I also felt the price was good since I ordered on Uber eats. Definitely going to order here again.“

While the suan cai yu (pickled fish soup) fell a bit short in terms of broth and flavor, the crispy pork scoop and the fried fish filets stole the show with their excellent taste, especially the cumin-spicy flavor. The diverse menu featuring many traditional Chinese dishes adds to the appeal. With a mix of hits and misses, Gem Bistro is a gem for those seeking a variety of authentic Chinese flavors.“

“An expensive but very good choice for Chinese.Recommend the Peking duck and the Xiao Long Bao, the water spinach with preserves bean curb.Staff are friendly and helpful.However, unlike almost all Chinese restaurants I have experienced, they charge you for steamed rice. The prices they charge could easily cover some plain steamed rice.The Half Peking duck comes with 10 pieces of pancake. Be warned that if you need extra you better order at the same time as take about 15mins. Also the additional order is only 5 pieces for which they charge and is ridiculous they don’t inform you of this.Overall- great chive but you are nickel and dimed which is off-putting.“

“I don’t normally write google reviews- but my family has been coming to this restaurant for years- and let me tell you it’s some of the best food I’ve ever had. Always perfectly cooked, fast and inexpensive. Sometimes I order twice a week. I’ve been to quite a few other Chinese food places- but no where compares.“

“The food at No. 1 Wok's is very good. I've gotten take out from there over 20 times and was happy every time. I never had gastrointestinal issues after eating it because everything was fresh and properly handled. You get a lot of food here and a few times the food was even 5 star. The owner is very friendly to me and that makes me feel good because I work on the road alone most days and it's nice to have a friendly encounter of this nature.“

“The best food easily in town for Chinese that is high-end and affordable. As far as service goes, they are one of the few places that make the art of delivery or pick up an inspiration to other businesses. They are very efficient in their process and greet you with a smile when you come to pick up your food, there is no place to sit here at least in the Montclair location. “Location is easy to miss, but look for T-Mobile, they are in the same plaza. Huge parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Pro tip: Bring cash to save 10% off your meal! I ordered braised flounder filet and romaine heart in sichuan roasted chili sauce and cilantro, it was super tasty and spicy, as expected! It was a little pricey just because of how little amount of fish filet we got in the dish. Tons of sauce, enough for me to use and cook another meal the next night. It's a pretty big restaurant, great for big parties!“

“We often order from Verona Chinese Kitchen, delivery only. Deliveries are prompt. I really like their Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Chicken with Cashew Nuts. My husband enjoys their Beef with Snowpeas, and Shrimp Toast. We sometimes order their soups, especially the Hot and Sour soup and Wonton soup, but ask for modifications as my husband has certain tolerances. They are very accommodating, everything arrives as ordered. “We are on a quest for the world’s finest egg roll. Both the roast pork egg roll and the shrimp egg roll are definitely finalists despite relatively little of the titular ingredient in either. They were both hot and crisp on the outside while the vegetables in the filling still had a little crunch to them. Beef chow fun was good. The house special lo mein, fried rice and wonton soup were filling but very bland.“
