“This review is specifically for the bakery - This has become my family's go-to for birthday cakes. The staff working in this section are very accommodating and they always have delicious cakes to choose from. This trip I purchased a 5" chocolate mousse cake for my hubby's birthday. When he got his first bite from the cake, his immediate "MMmm!!! It's good!" said everything!! He definitely enjoyed it and he's rather critical about food LOL ... Check them out next time you stop by Whole Foods! Also, their macarons (which wasn't in stock at this visit) is what we usually pick up for nice treat“

“Had a very lovely trip to the store. Was attended to by Micheal and he really took the time talk with us and show us the merchandise. Took time to get our full order with no rushing and even enrolled us in the rewards program for a free chocolate. Chocolate is very tasty and worth the cost, great for gifts and they also sell mini chocolate that is very well priced.“

“Depending on your style and needs, this could be the right place for you. The aesthetic is super fun with seating like airplane seats, bright lights, and really loud music. The coffee is good with coffee-adjacent drinks with fun names. I have never seen the place empty or slow.There are a handful of pastries (croissant, pecan roll, ham and cheese croissant, everything bagel twist, etc.) to accompany the beverages. I was told the pastries come from Le French Dad Boulangerie, so if you like their baked goods, you’ll be pleased.If you’re prone to migraines or if you’re looking for a semi-quiet place to work or have a chat, this is not the place for you. If you want to show friends or visitors a unique place with good coffee, this does the job.“

“Cute coffee shop! Ordered the honey bee lavender latte. It was delicious. Also tempted to indulge in the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. The craving was definitely met.Seating area is ok with minimal couches, mostly bar seating available. Service was friendly. Had to wait a bit because the shop got a little crowded, but it was worth the wait.Highly recommend.“

“Great meal and overall time here! Our server was super nice and friendly/helpful he really guided us through the menu and gave some great suggestions. The restaurant itself is super nice and cozy while being spacious, but oh man the food is unreal. We had the meatballs (so big and flavorful and smothered in sauce), the mushroom pizza which was loaded with mushrooms, super flavorful and unique. Also got the vodka pizza which was really great, we got extra vodka sauce on the side so we could really drown it and loved it. My friend got the gluten free and she said it's the first gluten free bread she's had that actually tastes like real bread and loved it.“

“Best 30$ meal I may have had my entire life. Saw a picture online and decided to get what I saw and boy it did NOT disappoint. Spot is small like others have mentioned. Only offering a few tables and chairs but I went during the weekday and didn’t have any issues with seating. Don’t let that deter you to coming to this gem! Service was top notch as well. “My family and I love love love Kubo. Since they opened, we def try to come here any time were in the area. My fave fave fave is the Ube Soft Serve with Taiyaki and boba. Their soft serve is just so creamy and flavorful. I haven't tried everything on their menu yet, but I def plan to. Posting a pic from our most recent visit last week.They have a small seating area, but in the warmer seasons they add some extra outside seating which is nice. “I've been looking for a local, full service coffee shop that roasts their own beans, sells coffee/espresso, as well as offers breakfast and lunch.**This IS that place**I couldn't tell from their website, but the posts I saw on insta showed that they serve food, and I'm happy to report that it tastes as good as it looks!Very friendly staff and accommodating. Although it's currently the middle of December, I wanted a macchiato over ice, which wasn't on their menu, but when I asked they happily said 'of course'.Seems like I'm going to have to sign up for their points system because I can tell I'm going to be back here a whole lot more.I'm particularly interested in sampling their beans, just wish i didn't have to buy an entire bag of beans. Why don't these local roasters sell sample packs, allowing you to still purchase a pound of beans, but separated into small batches with samples of each bean type? This would allow me to quickly figure out which bean I want to try without having to buy a single large bag and take a month to go through coffee I don't really like before trying the next type . . . “I’ve been coming to Queen City Coffee Roasters since 2020. I’m always looking to support local coffee shops as Starbucks and Dunkin’s quality is severely lacking. After four years of continuous store visits and door dash orders, I am always greeted and recognized by their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Regardless of my drink, hot or iced, each team member can answer questions and slightly modify the drink if necessary for your palate. They always have fresh pastries and now even have delicious breakfast burritos. It’s nestled into a cute spot in Plainfield and the shop itself is always feature local artists and they have several events a month. My drink recommendation is the Spanish latte. Iced or hot, I guarantee you won’t have a better latte.“

My favorite tea is and always has been the Taro milk tea with grass jelly. They have a few board games and it is an inviting vibe. My adult children get everything from Passion Fruit and Green Tea. Sometimes the slushy type of drinks. It's always pretty good and I believe it is up to par with the Montclair location.“

“Came by with a friend while visiting the area. Such a wonderful place with a great vibe. Tristan is awesome and helped me choose a great drink. “2nd time to visit. They have non dairy milk which is appreciated. The first time I ordered a Thai tea and with me ordered a dragonfruit green tea drink with dragonfruit popping bubbles. This time I got a taro milk tea and they got a taro Vietnamese iced coffee with boba. Everything has always been tasty. I have preferred the drinks that weren’t mine ? so now I am curious to try different things that aren’t typical. The woman that (likely) owns it was very sweet both times. “Track 5 Coffee is downtown Cranford's not-so-hidden gem, and for good reason! The ambiance is cute and cozy and the coffee is rich and delicious - what more could you want! My go-to order is the Hazelnut + Irish Cream Latte, which is the perfect sweet treat for an afternoon pick-me-up. They also have some good baked goods and sandwiches, but the coffee is what really keeps me coming. Things to keep in mind: - Parking in downtown Cranford is always a bit tricky, so plan ahead! - Track 5 is super popular, which means it's usually pretty packed. You aren't always guaranteed a table, so have a back up plan!“

As soon as you enter you can see papers on the table with the list of all the available donut and space to write-in seasonal options. You'll have to mention the quantity of each donut you want to order and hand it over at the counter. “This is one of my mom's favorite places for coffee. Everything I've tried at Liv Breads is delicious. All the croissants are amazing, but the nutella croissant is ridiculously good. The sandwiches are all fresh, healthy, and satisfying. The coffee is excellent. I love the samples you can try as you wait in line. Had to purchase the cardamon bun after tasting the sample. It is a unique pastry I haven't seen elsewhere, and it is the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and crunchy. Going back soon to try the baguette which looks delicious.“

“I try to visit this place anytime I am in New Jersey. NYC quality bakery in NJ. That’s pretty hard to find in my experience. The price is right for how high quality everything is. I certainly see what the hype is about and can't wait to go back and try other items. Ok, so why a 4 instead of a 5? Well, here's the thing. It's hard to be both a cafe and a restaurant. Seating is first come, first served so you have to stand there and wait for seats to come available and then rush over before someone else gets there. I've seen places that have the cafe ambiance operate like restaurants to make it a better customer experience. Restaurant may want to consider adding more tables for busier times (weekends and Holidays) and put out the couches and chairs during lighter foot traffic. Also, you can allow for those who are in the cafe area or getting an order to go come up to the counter and order while those who want to sit at a table be seated and waited on. The experience was disorienting until we actually were at a table and then it was great from there. We almost left because it was so crowded and couldn't find a table but in Jersey good eateries are hard to come by. Overall, you will have an amazing experience during non-peak hours because the food a great and the staff were friendly. However, during peak hours can be a bit of a hassle due to finding seating.“

“A very large and reasonably priced bakery that also serves great egg and cheese sandwiches on Portuguese rolls. I also tried the egg custard which were super fresh and not overly sweet. Their coffee was also tasted really fresh and delicious. The ladies at the register don't speak English really well so it may take some time to order your food but service otherwise was fantastic. They also have a ton of seating indoors and was pretty clean. Highly recommend!“

“This is such a cute bakery! They have a perfect array of cookies, cupcakes, scones, and other goodies! I've tried the scones, royal frosted cookies, and now the lemon loaf (GF) and have loved them all. It does tend to be busy but the staff is friendly and moves you on through. There is limited outdoor seating nearby so plan to bring your goodies outside or to the car. Prices are not listed for pastries and it isn't cheap - but I say worth it!“
