Hot Sichuan has become my go-to for Chinese takeout in the area. Can’t go wrong if you stay with the Appetizer, Sichuan Specialties and Chef’s Specialities sections of the menu. Legit Sichuan place and spicy. The people are super friendly here and service is quick.(I’m taking points off the atmosphere because it’s not a sit-down place, but it’s not relevant anyway.)
I had the roast pork with spicy garlic sauce lunch. It was very good. Service and preparation were reasonably quick. FWIW, this was during a mid-afternoon summer Sunday, and no one else in the place.I'll go back.

Great food! I find the Szechuan here to be delicious, complex, fresh, and maybe a little too spicy for me--and I like heat! The fresh dumplings are homemade and flavorful, with lots of porky depth. The Dan Dan are on point, great chew, and that rich umami flavor comes through. The cucumber is sooooo spicy and delicious. The chicken with broccoli is so good, quite garlicky and fresh.
