“This is my family’s favorite local Chinese Restaurant. Their prices are the best around, and their food is delicious. I usually order online and I had accidentally ordered something completely out of the norm with a higher price and the amazing staff called to confirm that is what I actually wanted instead of just making the extra food and taking the money. I will not go anywhere else.”

“We had my daughter’s 6th birthday here 12/15 and it was fantastic! Reasonable cost for the amount of kids, a lot to do with the playground and hayride! They decorated the greenhouse beautifully and made the morning great! It was such a breeze to come bring minimal food/set up since they provided the Christmas decor and Santa stopped by too! “This place is soo awesome! I had an absolutely delicious Blueberry muffin and the peanut butter iced latte. It was soo good I wanted to try another coffee. I got the cinnamon bun flavored ice coffee, that was my favorite. I totally recommend coming here for coffee and for breakfast..”

“We have eaten there several times and it is always delicious. We want to give special appreciation to Rachel, your manager, for her special caring and sensitivity to our needs. In today's world, where one struggles, especially if old like we are, to speak to a live human being, when you are able to converse with a person who is actually listening to what you said, this is rare. Add to that delicious fresh food and you have a winner. Tonight we had fresh large shrimps with a most delicious home made cocktail sauce. Fresh crab cakes with a fabulous remoulade, and a chocolate mousse to die for as dessert. We ordered too much and have to save some for tomorrow. We live in town, and are happy to see the names of so many out of town visitors appreciate Chesapeake Tavern.”

“These folks are an inspiration to me. My wife and I had looked at this location before the brewery renovated it. It was an absolute disaster - way more work than we could justify for her future storefront. Undaunted, Buttzville Brewing Company came in and completely transformed not only the interior but several aspects of the facade. I'm not sure to what degree the building owner was involved but this building was in need of some love for quite a long time and these folks were up to the task.

Years later, we moved our business a couple doors down and performed some extensive renovations of our own to yet another property that was in need - again, seeing what had been accomplished at the brewery served as inspiration.

In addition to their upscale look and contribution to the beautification of our downtown. We love their presence here and enjoy fringe benefits such as free live music, a variety of different food truck vendors and other fun events held there.

While you cannot foresee every possible situation that could potentially arise in an establishment where alcohol is served, these folks maintain a professional and friendly environment. Their patrons are very respectful of the neighborhood, taking heed to the overall vibe created by this establishment and its team.

“This is the best Chinese American food in Gloucester County. Most enjoy the crispy General Tso's chicken or the beef and broccoli, but so many locals turn to the wonton soup for comfort especially when sick. I highly recommend the beef chow ho fun because of the intense flavors from the hot fired wok. Service is excellent. I have noticed some that try to take advantage, but returning customers know that the restaurant always tries its best to keep diners happy. There is definitely a reason why it has won Best Chinese food in Washington Township numerous times.

Vegetarian options: The restaurant does it best to meet dietary requests and restrictions. Just ask.

Kid-friendliness: It is very kid friendly with families who love to dine there with their children of any age.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are two doors to open to enter the restaurant. If staff sees someone in a wheelchair, they will come out to assist. Most customers will also help.”

“Food was so good! My husband had shredded beef with garlic sauce...he said it was the best Chinese he's ever had! (Tho he couldn't taste the garlic). The pork fried rice and boneless ribs I ordered were delicious. Ribs weren't over cooked swimming in a sweet BBQ sauce like some I've had. Really enjoyed the shrimp toast.”

Curved red booth seats, the old stained glass lamps above the tables, it’s the exact feel they used to have in the 80/90’s. Service is always solid whether dining in or taking it to go. “I stopped in today to purchase something for breakfast and was greeted by a young lady with a great big smile and her name was, oh God I hope I'm spelling it correctly, Haley. I joked with her and asked for several sandwiches made by a competitor of yours and she paused and started to laugh. That made me laugh too and it was so nice, with things in this world so crazy, to enjoy alittle peace through giggles. I just wanted to say that Hayley was terrific and while I was waiting for my meal to be completed we talked about her job, which I can see she enjoys working at chick-fil-la, my job, her schooling and just some great conversation. I can see she is an asset to your store and chick-fil-la and I just wanted to say thank you to Hayley and Chick-fil-la for making my day alittle bit more Blessed. “Visited with my partner for lunch. We both ended up ordering the same thing, the Big Country burger, medium. Both ended up being well done, not medium, but besides that, the meal was fantastic - the burger was great and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. It was a little pricey ($17 each pre-tax for just the burger+fries) but did not disappoint. Very friendly staff too. The price rules out frequent visits from me, but if I'm in the mood for a great burger, I know where to go.”
