“I stopped in for a meal with my daughter and we were sat immediately. People were smiling, talking and enjoying the day, it was a nice experience. I ordered pork & cheese on a roll with cheese fries and gravy and my daughter got chicken fingers and fries. Our portions were enough that we brought some home. The food was cooked perfectly in my opinion and the gravy was so good I even asked for a container to take it with me. Even though it was a busy time of the day for the diner, our server was very polite, accurately took our orders that came back out under 10 minutes and made sure our meals were prepared to our desire. I will definitely return again, because I loved how our food tasted and how we were treated.“

“If eating at diners is your thing, then The Whitman does not disappoint. I hadn’t been here since moving away, but I always like coming back to grab some good food. It’s got that diner decor and vibe. It is clean and up-to-date. Eat at the counter, booth, or table. It’s your choice. Lots of parking around. Our server and friendly and attentive. My coffee cup never got below 1/2 full. The breakfasts were plenty. All items were well prepared. Eggs done just as ordered, crispy bacon, fluffy pancakes. I appreciated that the waitress asked about peppers in the hash-browns.Overall, a great place to meet friends or bring the family, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.“

“A step back in time with the stainless steel and colorful seats. A fun place with an extensive menu. A roadside draw you can't resist. It's fun AND there's BBQ! I've had their smoked wings and they're fantastic but tonight, I went for ice cream. I like ice cream with a higher fat content but this was ok. It still hit. Nearly $4 for their smallest cone. Give it a try at least once.“

“On Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the Clinton Station Diner. For starters, I had been visiting this diner since I was young, so this has been one that I have been around for a long time. Especially with the train car. Something like that is not going to keep me away from the diner, or keep me from sitting in the train car itself, which belonged to the Blue Commet. Upon arriving I was able to bask in a diner that was established around 2004, and that was celebrating its 20th anniversary. Something cool to experience while I was there. The mix between a diner and restaurant atmosphere made the place feel much larger then it actually was, but also welcoming. As there was a lot of aspects to take in. Whether it be the food, wall decorations, seating, or the actual train car, nothing there would leave you unimpressed. Within a minute, my family and myself were lead to our seats and minutes later our drinks were taken and brought to us. Considering that we arrived around 6, the diner itself wasn't too busy. So our service by the staff was pretty quick. Soon, we ordered all of our meals. I head gotten a Texas Grilled Chicken Sandwich. 15 minutes later, the meals arrived. Let's just say I could barely keep the sandwich together. But that was good, it meant that it was no flimsy sandwich, but a packed sandwich filled with flavor. Each bite involved a crunch of the bread, and the flow of flavors from the chicken, bacon, and bbq sauce. All flavors and the stacked sandwich soon filled me. Where I had to take the rest of it home. In total, for four people,  it was about $100, reasonable for the type of diner it was. I would recommend it to anybody that would like to eat on a train car. It is well worth it, and you never leave hungry.Parking: Plenty of parking“
