I've been going to this place for over 10 years. The food is decent as well as the service. Yesterday, I went for breakfast. I normally don't carry cash and use my credit card instead. After paying with my cc, I was a bit surprised that the total was exactly $10. When I reviewed their ticket, it showed a total of $9.33, yet my cc receipt showed $10. I asked the server why was there a difference in the amounts. She calmly stated that there was a $10 minimum and the owner instructed them to round off anything below $10, to $10. I was shocked at the callous explanation! Needless to say, that's the last time I'll eat there.

The employees were friendly and it seemed like they have regulars seeing as they knew people's names. The food didn't take long and it was steamy which made it feel more like home cooked meal. I ordered an orange and carrots juice, and I was wondering if it was going to be freshly squeezed or concentrated and to my surprise it was freshly squeezed right in front of us, which made it even better. The empanada wasn't anything I expected which was good. It was a cheese and guayaba empanada and the saltiness and sweetness was a great combination. I would definitely come here again once I'm in the area!
