had the worst experience in a long time. I got carne salteada ... was so tough we couldn't finish the dish last night. I go in the morning and the lady didn't even apologize. said she could not do anything about it today (did she expect for me to be rushing in the middle of the nite with the dish?) I showed it to her. threw it into the garbage in the corner. sad... I used to like not only the food but the attention as well. not the case any longer

Plates are about $13 and they will FILL YOU UP. My husband loves coming here but he has to come with me because he can't speak Spanish, haha! No worries he's good at pointing at what he wants and they bring you your food to the table. It's his favorite place to eat in the neighborhood, of course I love it too. There's always soccer on the tv and the ladies working here are very friendly. Check out their weekly lunch specials on their menu or feed your whole family with their huge servings.

The food here is reasonably priced and super tasty. They prepare most dishes in advance and have them in a heated buffet that they serve from. So, service is super fast. The coffee is delish!

I just ordered tres golpes, toasted bread, and coffee. Everything even down to the bread was just disgusting. The coffee was not expresso and very watery. The mangu was burnt and way too oily. So disappointed and a waist of 20 dollars.

Great place to eat. Clean and great service. The food was awesome. A little small and the menu was diverse and varied and prices not sky rocket.

It's usually really hard finding good Dominican food around the area, and I know cause I've been looking. Unless you go over the GW bridge into the heights, I found that other places lacked quality ingredients and flavor as the they don't really have many competitors. I'm happy to say Rincon has finally allowed me to stop my search for great Dominican food in jersey cause honestly, I was getting tired of spending so much on mediocre food. I came in with my girlfriend to pick up food around 11 in the morning. We got the oxtail with rice and black beans and I got the mangu which came with eggs, salami and literally one of the nicest piece of fried cheese I've ever had. The oxtail was also flavored perfectly and portions was more than generous. Black beans that came with the oxtail was also fantastic. We also grabbed a couple empanadas and they were all filled to the brim. I'm SUPER glad my girlfriend found this place. I've already decided this place is a regular spot now. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for great oxtail or mangu. I'm probably gonna be back on a weekly basis cause now that 16 dollar toll can be spent here.
