Nice clean shop with a friendly staff. Terrific soft serve and a wide variety of options. Their ice cream cakes are fresh and delicious, and are offered in a good selection of sizes and styles. You can buy cups of extra crunchies, and as any crunchies aficionado knows, Carvel has the best. Speaking of which, Carvel offers a Crazy for Crunchies Cake that is fantastic. I mean, it's Carvel. It's amazing. Look in the case near the register for the random extra bits from cakes - yes pints of carvel cake goodness scooped into a pint. You're welcome.
Ordered a custom cake (extra crunchies) for my daughters birthday. I called the Carvel closest to my house and they were not very helpful. I then called the West Orange Carvel. Staff could not be nicer. I picked up the cake no issues…served it yesterday. My nephew was complaining when we were cutting it that it was so unoriginal…until we tasted it…OMG it was delicious.He was talking about it for the rest of the night…for that matter so was everyone else.
