Great restaurant with great service! They have very unique menu options, which all sounded delicious. Out of the things we ordered, the Bananas on the Beach was my favorite. It had a very interesting flavor, but was really good! We had also ordered some sort of crepe dish, which was also fantastic, though I forget what it was called. They have great outdoor seating with heaters when we went, which made the experience very enjoyable. Will definitely be back soon!

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!HORRIBLE! First time experience here. If I could give this horrible place 0 stars, I would! We were here to meet up with friends who suggested this place. We are from out of town and agreed to meet them here. We respect that they are short staffed, however, as we sat and chatted with our friends, we watched as every table was served their food BEFORE ours, and we placed our order with the waitress LONG BEFORE them! Our waitress at one point came over to apologize for the long delay and said our food would be out next. We watched 4 OTHER TABLES WHO CAME AFTER US BE SERVED! INCREDIBLE! We flagged our waitress and asked where our food was.and why others tables were served after she told us we would be next? After she made every inexcusable excuse she could, we asked to see the manager. She told us the manager was not in. FINALLY AFTER EVERY TABLE WAS SERVED AFTER US we got our food, which was horribly overcooked. My bacon in my BLT was black! My French fries were burnt. Our friends who suggested this place their food was overcooked and burnt too. After paying an almost $100 bill for lousy service and horrible food, we all left in disgust. We honestly though we were being discriminated upon. As a retired executive of JDPower, this is the worst experience I have ever had in terms of customer service and food quality. I do not want the typical response to my review as that will anger me even more. Please train your staff to be more respectful of diversity and stop making excuses that are totally unacceptable.

I hadn't been here since my last review, but a friend wanted to meet here for lunch, so I acquiesced. The recently remodeled decor is appealing and comfortable. I ordered the "Slo Turkey" sandwich, described on the menu as oven gold turkey breast, Swiss cheese, tomato, bacon, coleslaw, and Russian dressing on griddled rye bread, w/crispy fries. Sandwich was served on tasteless bread like you'd find in a cellophane package at the supermarket. And, at least they admitted they were using supermarket cold cuts, not trying to pass it off as fresh turkey. The sandwich was all right, but no better than something I could make at home after at trip to Stop & Shop. The shoestring french fries were decent. The young server was pleasant and attentive. I gave her two $20 bills for a $29 check, and she asked me if I wanted change. I did--am I cheap?

Had a lunch with a friend. Dined outdoors. She had the salmon with sweet potatoes and broccoli, despite saying broccoli was not her favorite, the waitress took away a clean plate when we finished!. I had Veggie Quesadillas (Sautéed spinach, wild mushrooms, tomatoes, Monterey jack, cheddar cheese. salsa, sour cream and fresh avocado. Served with mixed greens in honey cilantro lime dressing). Yummy and huge - took half home! The service was slow but we were not in a hurry.Parking on he street IN Westfield is tough, but Xocolatz is far enough (2ish blocks) that we were both ablee to find free parking on he street within 500 feet.

Visited this spot on lunch hour a few times and never disappoints. The menu is a mash up of goodness from a made from scratch kitchen. The service is warm & welcoming. We had the quiche, empanadas, veggie chili yum yum

Recently stopped in for the first time in a while and so glad we did. Enjoyed sitting outside with a glass of wine. Will definitely be back!

We met family from NY here for dinner. Here is my FABS report. FOOD - The food was all well prepared and had good flavor. They were missing a few items from the menu that would have been nice to try. Salmon, Sea Bass, Garlic Shrimp and a Greek Salad was ordered. The only issue was that the Garlic Shrimp was over cooked and tough. ATMOSPHERE - Well decorated and lively art. Nice for an evening meal. BATHROOM - Bathroom, yes just one for all, was clean and we'll kept. There was a second one on the second floor. Would have been nice not to have had to wait in a line to use it. SERVICE - We had a friendly server and she handled or orders well. She did fail to take our orders for drinks (tea). Overall it was a good meal and everyone left feeling full. We would return if In the area again.

I haven't been here in awhile because of Covid, but I recently catered from here and everything was excellent! My guess raved about the great the food. And now I came for dinner, and food is just as amazing. Love their risotto balls and the seabass was delicious

Nothing special.Last week I went to this restaurant in a group of 6. The waitress was forgetful and uninterested. She didn't even introduce herself. It was a hot day and the water glasses were so small (4oz) that we had to refill many times. Not to mention there were lipstick stains on most of the glasses which was rather concerning. Our food took an hour to arrive at the table. It was decent. I had the chicken BLT. It took 10 minutes for my friend to get a box to take home her food because the waitress kept forgetting. I am disappointed. Honestly, I don't see a reason to go back to this restaurant.

I only write restaurant reviews when the experience has been extraordinarily good or extraordinarily bad. Unfortunately, the latter was the case yesterday. We order two entrees for pick-up. (No link for pick-up on the website; had to call.) Ready in 35 minutes we were told. 50 minutes later they were ready. Another customer said that this isn't unusual. I ordered enchiladas, which I had ordered many times in the past. Past price was $16, if I recall right. Now they're $23. Entrees were supposed to come with salads. No salads were packaged. I always liked the sour cream that came with the enchiladas. No sour cream. The black bean side dish had something strange in it. Wife thought it was zucchini. Don't know whether the chef was being creative or whether they ran out of beans and substituted some zucchini. In any event, it was unlike any black beans I've eaten in a hispanic restaurant and they weren't good. We live about a 5-6 minute drive from the restaurant, took the food right home, and the enchiladas were lukewarm. Owner Jaime always used to be at the restaurant overseeing things. Don't know whether it's changed hands or it's a case of the mice playing while the cat's away. Never again!

Passed by this restaurant on many occasions and seems to be always busy. The food is average and overpriced. Nice ambience and seems fairly clean. Restaurant caters to your typical crowd for this area. If you looking for authentic Italian sandwiches or food I would consider venturing out to other local towns that have more traditional Italian deli sandwiches.

Great restaurant with excellent service! We loved the menu here with so many fantastic options. The Bananas on the Beach were particularly delicious and interesting, but all the food we had was very good. They also have outdoor cabanas with heaters available that separate you from other diners which was perfect for a slightly chilly but windy day.Highly recommended and we will definitely be back again.
