“At here a few days ago. Service was great. I got the footlong chili cheese dog. It was okay. $10 feels crazy, even for boardwalk prices for what I got. Mostly chili that felt like it didn’t have any meat in it and barely any cheese. I paid extra for onions and it didn’t feel like many were put on. My hot dog was kinda dried out, but maybe it was because I got it around 10pm.

It wasn’t terrible, but I don’t think I’d get a hotdog here again.”

“I was a die hard Mack’s fan until we decided to try a pizza option that was outside the box in 2023. Crazy Junkie Pizza next to the Boardwalk Chapel is Amazing. The ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. The pizza is a work of art. Taste is one of a kind. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. We were just there this week for the second time while on our yearly vacation to Wildwood. The quality, tastes, and flavor profile was exactly as we remembered from last year. If you are tired of the same old pizza offerings and want an adventurous alternative then Crazy Junkie pizza hits that mark. I never write reviews for things but felt compelled to recommend this amazing hidden gem. You would be crazy to pass up the opportunity while in Wildwood. “Fantastic.. A++ Called in an order 45 min before they closed on a Sunday night. My stupid fault but no biggie. They had it ready in 20min. Owner was cool & super friendly as I heard. Manager was fun & she obviously cared. Food was absolutely Stellar. Ridiculously Good actually! I stacked the order with different types of Cutlet Sandwiches, a Cheesesteak, Fries, etc. Whatever, $120 Worth every penny. Another Wildwood Hit…:) Thanks Guys! “My father and I tried Taqueria El Azteca’s new location on Ocean Ave. in Wildwood and we were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and taken to our table. You can tell that the owners went to great lengths to renovate and fill out their new space because it is so nice, new and clean inside. To start, my father and I each enjoyed the Watermelon drink. It tasted fresh and naturally sweet. My father ordered the Azteca Taco Al Pastor and received 3 overstuffed pork al pastor tacos. The tortillas were homemade and were very filling. I enjoyed an order of the Noodles Birria (Birria Beef Ramen) and it was phenomenal. A very creative fusion dish that was perfect for a cold winter day. All in all, we’re very happy to see that Taqueria El Azteca is doing well enough to open their second location and we’ll be enjoying their delicious cuisine again soon!”

“I've been enjoying Macks Pizza since 1971 when my parents let an 11 year old walk the boardwalk alone for the first time. Mrs T was one of my first memories. we've been several times a year since and each of my children and grandkids have had their first slice of pizza at Macks. Yes, I happily drive 2 and a half hours to load up on the best Pizza ever!!”

“Well, this summer we decided to take a trip to Wildwood. We did some research regarding places to stay and of course restaurants. Well, we found a very nice motel. Well anyway, one morning we went out to one of the recommended restaurants, and happened to notice this restaurant across the street called pasta pesto. We noticed there was some signage outside regarding Tuesday night martinis special Thursday night prime rib special so we decided to venture there on Tuesday night. Well first of all the surroundings were very inviting along with a very relaxing atmosphere. So we had the martinis specials, which were very cheap and actually very very good. The service was awesome and we met the one lady there named Peg who is very very nice. Well, then, we decided to go back Thursday night for prime rib night. He had the prime rib, which was more then he even expected and I had the ravioli with meatballs. Both dishes were very, very good again. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was very relaxing plus it was very busy that Thursday night, which I’m not surprised. So I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Wildwood area. We definitely would go there again for dinner. Unfortunately, I only took a few pictures, and hopefully it captured the relaxing atmosphere of this establishment.”

I wanted to know if it was possible for them to fry some foods separately for me. The owners were very willing to accommodate my food allergy. They let me know all of the ingredients in all of the foods that I ordered to make sure it was ok with my diet. I truly appreciated the effort that they put into making sure that there was no cross contamination. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was phenomenal!!”

“I chose this restaurant for my husband’s birthday dinner. We had an amazing meal in a pretty setting. Aside from being extremely impressed with all of the flavors, from appetizer to dessert, our server, Ari (not sure I’m spelling it correctly) was just the sweetest, knowledgeable and kind young woman. She was very attentive but not annoyingly. There were other servers walking around making sure tables were cleared of finished apps, salads and such. They work as a team and made the experience so enjoyable. Everything flowed so smoothly. We enjoyed delicious cocktails and the food was so on point. We’re giving Santorini ALL the stars! We will most definitely be back, again and again!”

“I probably don’t contribute to reviews as often as I should, but when I saw the negative reviews for the Blue Water Grille in Wildwood I had to write something.

We started coming here late last season and immediately became regulars for their Thursday Night Happy Hour and dinner special. They rotate their Happy Hour food specials. Their Shrimp cocktail is excellent and extremely reasonable but their Steamers (IMHO) are the absolute best on the island and the main reason I was addicted to coming here on Thursdays. And their Prime Rib Thursday dinner special for $25 can’t be beat.

We are retired and we are lucky enough to be able to spend our summers up here and our winters in Florida. We have had instances when we were looking forward to getting back to one of our favorite places in both Wildwood and Florida and when we got there, we found out that things had gone downhill since the previous season. New management, new kitchen staff, cost cutting due to inflation… who knows? but its very disappointing when that happens.

I went online to verify that the Thursday Happy Hour Specials hadn’t changed and when I did, I that, I saw a few pretty negative reviews and we were concerned that the Blue Water Grille may have gone the same route.

I’m very happy to report that it did not. We went Thursday night and everything was excellent!!!

We ended getting 3 orders of steamers, 2 shrimp cocktails and my wife and I split the prime rib dinner.
The soup of the day was crab and asparagus. I’m not a big asparagus person, my wife is, so I didn’t expect to like it. OMG it was fantastic. If it’s the Soup of the day when you are there, get it!

Our bartender, Stephanie, was great. She’s usually at the outside bar so this was the first time we me her and we felt like old friends by the time we left. The restaurant had gotten pretty crowded and I didn’t notice anyone having issues over the food or the service.

I feel bad fo the people that said they had a bad experience. Like I said we were regulars last season and we never had any issues here at all.

A couple of thoughts though. A few people mentioned wanting water front views. There are a few Blue Water Grill(e)s around the country. This one is several blocks from the beach so I have to wonder, did they post the review here for a different Blue Water?

Also, having grown up in another shore resort I know that, unless a restaurant is geared to locals instead of tourists, you can’t always get a fair assessment of a restaurant if you go off season. College kids are back at school, staffing can be tough and we know that often the Head Chefs head to busier southern resorts in the winter. I’m not saying that happened here, just speculating. I saw it happen where I grew up.

I noticed a few people complain in their reviews about how long they waited for food. This is a real restaurant, not a fast food place. Food is cooked to order. If you are looking to grab a fast bite, you might be better off grabbing something on the boardwalk, If you want a good dinner in a really nice setting , check out he Blue Water Grille”

Our first Experience and 2nd we had the pleasure of having “Niki” and truly we could not ask for better service than she offered,her tone,her understanding and the way she treated my toddler is immeasurable and the small details that were paid attention to were not found in other establishments we tried. I hope she knows how valued and appreciated she is by our family! We stopped in for one last meal before heading back to MD and we were cared for. A waitress I don’t re call a name but long curly hair,and a smile that lit up a room and was welcoming,her table side manner was fantastic she joked with us and also treated my daughter remarkably well where again other establishments frowned upon her questions or acted as she wasn’t talking. Furthermore,Noticing the whole atmosphere was a fantastic vibe, Everyone was smiling and working as a team. Can’t wait to return !”

“The wife and I were out and about and decided to try the Waterside location in Lakewood Ranch Fl. I have to say im a bit of a critic because we have family in Maine and have tasted all ends of the spectrum of lobster rolls from amazing to terrible and this place makes a great Lobster rolls with a spot on price comparable to Maine and other restaurants in the area. The staff member we dealt with was super nice I wish I would have got his name, but I do know he was from Jersey and had great knowledge knew the product well. We had 2 Connecticut rolls and they were great. I would say this place is worth checking out. Theres only outdoor seating, but you can easily walk around waterside and find a spot to kick back and enjoy or walk out enjoy their outdoor seating and it will complement their lobster rolls very well. They also have nice little selection of beers/beverages and a whole N/A fridge too.”

“I love this little Café that's tucked away here in North Wildwood on New York Ave and 18th Ave. This was my daily stop while working this summer. My favorite was a dbl. shot of iced cold brew! Stronger and smoother than Starbucks!!! AMAZING 😋 Not only do they have the best coffee drinks, the choice of pastries is amazing also, you haven't had a donut until you try theirs, huge and delicious. Muffins are also delicious. My favorite is the Crumb Cake OMG!!!! What a treat! The waffles are also delicious. Now for the owners, AMAZING. They are so kind and really know how to treat their customers. Now for the girls who are absolutely AMAZING also!!! As soon as they see me, they know exactly what I want and get it ready 💖 They are so efficient and work with the best attitude I have ever seen in my life. Always smiling and happy. They make the best drinks we have had anywhere... and we are super fans of boba-style drinks. We ordered a Thai milk tea, peach slush with pearls, strawberry fruit tea with popping boba, and a an iced coffee. Everything was fantastic, especially the Thai milk tea and peach slush. The flavors completely surpassed my expectations and the boba were sweet and softer than normal. The peach slush is out of this world delicious. NOTHING COMPARES!!! They didn't even mind us hanging out beside the shop while we sipped our drinks and watched the fireworks. I highly recommend stopping by this spot. We will be back again soon!!!”

“Thought I would try an upscale dish (since they were offering it) to see how a Boardwalk Restauranteur would perform. I ordered the Shrimp Pasta with Marinara. Needless to say, I was "Stunned"! This is a favorite dish of mine and I usually reserve ordering it to finer esoteric Bistros and Trattorias I frequent. Yes, I dare say it, BOLDLY that the Chef Olympic Flame not only went "toe to toe" with the finer eateries I am familiar with but actually bettered the lot of 'em!! After this most satisfying experience, I was desperate to meet the Chef behind this most Perfect Pasta dish. The waitstaff directed me to the Chef, who was extremely appreciative when I explained the aforementioned to him. Anyone out there visiting the Jersey Shore and wants to have a truly "Unique" dining experience, I strongly recommend ordering the Shrimp Pasta (or any Pasta Course) "The" Olympic Flame Restaurant. You Will Not Be Disappointed!!”

“My father and I tried Taqueria El Azteca’s new location on Ocean Ave. in Wildwood and we were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and taken to our table. You can tell that the owners went to great lengths to renovate and fill out their new space because it is so nice, new and clean inside. To start, my father and I each enjoyed the Watermelon drink. It tasted fresh and naturally sweet. My father ordered the Azteca Taco Al Pastor and received 3 overstuffed pork al pastor tacos. The tortillas were homemade and were very filling. I enjoyed an order of the Noodles Birria (Birria Beef Ramen) and it was phenomenal. A very creative fusion dish that was perfect for a cold winter day. All in all, we’re very happy to see that Taqueria El Azteca is doing well enough to open their second location and we’ll be enjoying their delicious cuisine again soon!”

“We had an amazing experience on our wedding day last weekend at Duffinetti’s. The owner was extremely accommodating and dedicated to making our day extra special. She allowed us to drop our wedding cake off prior to opening for storing, served an amazing meal for our large party, served our wedding cake and even arranged the performer to play our wedding song for our first dance. We couldn’t thank her and the staff enough for making our day amazing.”

“The cleanliness, fast service, excellent staff from front to back, food, and prices are quite excellent. We’ve been going to this particular Hotspot for many years and I don’t ever recall anything that we ever received being anything but excellent. I highly recommend. Some of the reviews on here I find just simply mean spirited.”

“I was a die hard Mack’s fan until we decided to try a pizza option that was outside the box in 2023. Crazy Junkie Pizza next to the Boardwalk Chapel is Amazing. The ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. The pizza is a work of art. Taste is one of a kind. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. We were just there this week for the second time while on our yearly vacation to Wildwood. The quality, tastes, and flavor profile was exactly as we remembered from last year. If you are tired of the same old pizza offerings and want an adventurous alternative then Crazy Junkie pizza hits that mark. I never write reviews for things but felt compelled to recommend this amazing hidden gem. You would be crazy to pass up the opportunity while in Wildwood. Thanks for becoming a family tradition when we visit.”

“I hope this "review" isn't out of line, but I get nostalgic about what once was the best all nite diner around, some 40 years ago. I used to work in one of the many club bands around at the time, as did many of us, and after work - 3am, 4am - I'd often be there with some band mates and there were usually performers from other bands there as well. It was sort of a wind-down party, we'd get a little louder than we should and would sometimes be reminded there were other patrons there too 😁 but we were at least decent tippers to assuage our guilt 😂. I loved going to the Red Oak. I remember one specific seasonal item I always got when available - a bowl of fresh strawberries. Along with breakfast foods like pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Anyway, I get that it's weird that I'm doing a review from the 1980s, but it really was memorable!”

“Fantastic.. A++ Called in an order 45 min before they closed on a Sunday night. My stupid fault but no biggie. They had it ready in 20min. Owner was cool & super friendly as I heard. Manager was fun & she obviously cared. Food was absolutely Stellar. Ridiculously Good actually! I stacked the order with different types of Cutlet Sandwiches, a Cheesesteak, Fries, etc. Whatever, $120 Worth every penny. Another Wildwood Hit…:) Thanks Guys! Can’t wait to share this place with Friends & Family in Summer 2026.”
