“Went there Sunday 4/14 with a group of 7 people.We got there early to be first in line to be seated. Trevor was our server and was amazing to all of us!!! He kept our waters filled and came over a few times to check on us for drink refills etc. I would definitely ask for Trevor the next time I go. The food was great and no wait to be seated since we got there before opening at 1130.“
“Really good food and atmosphere. Watch out for the automatic tip on the receipt. They didn't include it on Thursday but did on Friday. Usually I tip 20% but when places automatically add 18%, I don't tip extra when places auto tip. They also included a tip line even tho they added an auto tip lol, not falling for that trick.“
“Came here to pick up food for the second time tonight, I can say they have been absolutely amazing both times. Me and my partner got cheese flautas and my aunt got the whiskey burger. The food was exactly what we asked for and was delicious. My partner and I are vegetarian and they have lots of options for us which is awesome. Now the horchata, the large is HUGE and it is so good I didnt even want to share it lol that is how delicious it is. There was a man singing and his voice is great it made me so happy. I definitely will be coming to eat there on my birthday. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant such a hidden gem.“

The Guacamole was fresh, simply seasoned, with chunks of avocado!I had the Shrimp Tacos, perfection - like tasting Summer in Cancun.Phil had the chicken & steak quesadilla Phenomenal!We shared rice and beans - perfect accompaniment to our light dinners.We rounded out the meal with coffees with(With warm milk) and an order of Churros. “OMG! I live in the area and I decided to order on a whim! I should start with I love Mexican food but this was beyond my expectations. I ordered the three taco platter (which is dairy free by the way) . I ordered the pork! It was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the guacamole and I wasn't sure because it did not say homemade but it was and it was a very generous portion (they used at least two avocados) and also delicious! Very impressed! I have tried to get good Mexican food on the South shore and by far this is the best! It is a little pricey as the three tacos, guacamole and chips with tip came to $36.00 but again it was delicious!“

“Overall: top place for Authentic Mexican food! Prices are perfect, portions were huge, service was so kind. Food: the sampler was huge and had so much to try! The Birria Tacos were filled! Maybe a little more salt but the sopa was perfect. Churros crunchy and sweet comes with 4 and an ice cream scoop. The chocoflan is a special and they only have it sometimes. If they have it try it! Service: the restaurant owner was so kind and showed us pictures of all the foods. Inside: nice pop Mexican music, originals, and remixes. They also have outside seating.“
“Order takeout from this restaurant for the first time tonight. Chips and salsa were good. Chips were plentiful and thin and crispy and the salsa was chunky and juicy. I just wish they gave more salsa as we had excess chips and not enough salsa. Barbacoa chimichanga burrito was delicious and very filling. Pulled pork sliders as an appetizer were good too. Maduros were delicious. Apple empanadas were absolute favorite will definitely be ordering years with every order in the future. Only disappointing food item were the chicken tostadas. These are a staple for me at every Mexican restaurant I visit. I know each restaurant makes them different. I just didn’t prefer they were the way they were made here. This restaurant made them with chunks of grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, and shredded cheese. Overall it was a good experience. I just wouldn’t order the chicken tostadas again in the future.“

“I was there for a wedding and the location was lovely and the food was surprisingly good. They had several stations during cocktail hour and the Latin and Chinese ones were better than what you'll get at most take out places. The rest of the food was good, but these were the standouts.“
“Perfect late night spot in Perth Amboy especially if your just leaving the club. They make literally almost every Spanish dish you could want. The food comes out fast and the servers take good care of you. The ambiance is relaxed and you get to watch Spanish shows while you eat your free chips and salsa. “Our waiter Alex was outstanding! He was fast on any refills whether it was the chips or the drinks we ordered. I swear he didn't stop moving. I saw him sweep, clean tables, fix the floor layout all while helping the customers he had. The food was amazing as always and reasonably priced for the sizing and quality of the food. It was incredible clean and there was a great atmosphere. I highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake Chimis they are the best dessert I think I've ever had! Definitely recommend coming here!“

There is parking in the rear of the restaurant, we walked in through the back and were seated right away. Cute little place looks family ran and operated with a party room upstairs. We started with the sampler appetizer and glad we did. It was so good and enough for the of us 4, it had wings, flautas, wings, & cheese quesadilla. My husband and I shared the Mocajete AMAZING!! Never had veggies mixed in the Mocajete, but to be honest it is a great addition. Portion is huge we both had lunch for the next day! My boys had the Birria tacos and chipotle creamy chicken and shrimp they were very happy with their choices. The only thing that was a little disappointing is the wait staff is more like teenagers so not very attentive; however, for the quality and flavor of the food I'll deal with it. If in the mood for some authentic Mexican cuisine you need to come here!!!!“
