“An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. Its clean and the staff are super friendly! I work near by so it has been my go-to place to sit down and eat. I haven't tried their subs yet but will soon! “My Daughter ordered this Roast Beef dinner with the works. The roast beef was very tender and tasty and the gravy was an added bonus! The mashed potatoes were smooth and silky and delicious. I have no idea how they make their dough or their pizza sauce, but recently we got their make-your-own pizza kit to do with our child, and even that was firmly the best homemade pizza I've had in my life. The gyro sauce "white dill dauce", do not call it tzatziki ( I was gently corrected several times) is phenomenal! so much so that I would dunk the Pastrami Reuben into it. He cut me a small piece and passed it over to my plate.Now I need to say, that food is the one thing families have come together over and have since the beginning of time. Back in 2022 we lost mom. When I took a bite of that tuna sandwich, I was immediately transported back to 9 years old eating mom’s tuna.In short…thank you for causing some of the happiest tears I’ve had in a long time and for the trip back in time with a simple and delicious tuna sandwich. I vaguely remember them being in a different location though.....on the corner adjacent to them.....where CVS is now (they expanded that space). The place is small with no tables. There's just a couple of stools by the window. We always order delivery though. Family run by husband, wife and son. They are all very nice and delivery is always within 30 minutes.I've tried a bunch of things from there. Egg sandwiches, cold cut sandwiches, BLTs, burgers, pasta salad, fries etc. I haven't disliked anything. Their fries are a must get! Not sure why they're so good, but they are.As for the pricing, everything is under $10 which is great!Definitely check them out!“
