“An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. “Great bread, quality meats. Got the Italian combo . It was well constructed and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended. $13 . Unfortunately, the owner (a super nice gentleman) has a group of consistently miserable people working for him. Ordering anything, especially asking for no lettuce, you will get an exasperated look , followed by a look of contempt at the end. Sad to see these people have come to work here from wherever they're from and feel entitled enough to treat this man's customers that way. So if you want really good food and a scowl doesn't bother you, try this deli out the food is consistently fresh.“

“This is the spot. We are new to Dobbs ferry and I popped in today for a sandwich. Woman behind the counter was very kind in explaining what the most popular wedges are. Landed on an #11 which is chicken cutlet, American, bacon, bbq. Was top class. Not new to New York deli scene at all and they edged out another top spot a few towns over due to the crispy bacon. They know what they’re doing here don’t think you can wrong with anything on the menu. “Came in with no expectations and was very happily surprised at how welcoming and helpful the staff was. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and an iced coffee. The food was delicious and perfectly priced. The coffee also exceeded my expectations and was tasty. The food also came out very quickly and they even let me eat before paying. Would definitely recommend trying it out!“

“Some of the best tacos I've had on the East coast. These are on par with California and Texas tacos. Most of the tacos in NYC and NY and terrible, but not Los Ferchos. This is a great family run deli, with the whole family helping to make super authentic tacos in the back. The staff is super friendly, and they even have a couple tables inside and outside for you to enjoy your food. They also make homemade ice pops and they have some very niche authentic Mexican food items too like Oaxaca cheese and Mexican desserts. Easily the best tacos in the Hudson Valley, and maybe NY too.“

“I got an Italian combo to go around noon on a weekday. There was only 1 other customer so I was able to get my order quickly. The sandwich came out HUGE. It was stacked high with meats which is exactly what I was craving. It was delicious. The sandwich cost about $14 but it was definitely big enough for 2 people.“

“This is very small location but packs a great sandwich!! Has lots of useful staples and the best dressing ever!! If you from Yonkers this is comparable to the flavor that Lady's once had on Willow. “Local spot that makes really good Italian sandwiches. They get pretty busy during lunch, so if you are tight on time, i recommend calling in your order. The staff is always friendly and happy to recommend something. I usually order The Sicilian (vegetarian) or the Al Pacino (chicken). These are not "light" sandwiches. I always think i can eat one, but end up saving half for a 2nd meal. Ask them to put the sandwiches in the panini press, much better that way.“

“When I first stepped in. I knew what I was getting myself into. A family run store, that will question you if they can tell you're not from the area, however they still make you feel like a local. The owners are some of the nicest people I've met. Being a first time customer of theirs they made me feel like I was a regular. Service was unbelievable good.Now the food. Oh my heaven. I like to try bacon eggs and cheeses from every deli I go to, and this one really was up there with one of my favorites. A sandwich that you can tell was crafted with love, an energy that seems to radiate with the family that runs the deli. I'm going to be coming back every chance I can!“

“My Daughter ordered this Roast Beef dinner with the works. The roast beef was very tender and tasty and the gravy was an added bonus! The mashed potatoes were smooth and silky and delicious. “Belle Vita has been under new ownership for a couple of years. The former owners would be pleased. Not only can you get wonderful authentic Italian meats, cheeses and desserts. But!!!! I have to send special thanks. My mom is 90, almost 91. For Christmas she asked for an Italian EASTER holiday specialty, a pie/quiche.It had been so long since she saw one she mixed up Holidays. I called Belle Vita. The very kind young man I spoke to advised it was for Easter. This being my second Christmas as a widow, it was already difficult. And I wanted to give my Mom anything I could. I was not nice when they said only at Easter. I had to call back and apologize. About 5 minutes later my phone said Sally Boys Deli was calling me. My mothers name is Sally. Apparently the new owners have another deli with that name elsewhere. But It was Chris from Belle Vita. They were going to make me the dish for Mom. When one is a widow, and Mom is 90, all you want is to make her happy. So Belle Vita, Happy 2024, Thank you. :)“

Odd choice for an Italian sandwich shop, but pop is old and I don’t scoff at anything he does anymore. While he was eating I did something I never do, I asked for a bite. Now I haven’t had tuna fish in over 30 years. He cut me a small piece and passed it over to my plate.Now I need to say, that food is the one thing families have come together over and have since the beginning of time. Back in 2022 we lost mom. When I took a bite of that tuna sandwich, I was immediately transported back to 9 years old eating mom’s tuna.In short…thank you for causing some of the happiest tears I’ve had in a long time and for the trip back in time with a simple and delicious tuna sandwich. It’s just how mom used to make, which is no easy accomplishment.“

“We had a 40th Birthday Party in the private room on Saturday night. It was absolutely fantastic. The room is beautiful ,they had it set up as we discussed. The service was exemplary. FOOD was amazing. We have been enjoying Forte since they opened. I would highly recommend this venue for any private party.“

“This place has been around for as long as I can remember. I vaguely remember them being in a different location though.....on the corner adjacent to them.....where CVS is now (they expanded that space). The place is small with no tables. There's just a couple of stools by the window. We always order delivery though. Family run by husband, wife and son. They are all very nice and delivery is always within 30 minutes.I've tried a bunch of things from there. Egg sandwiches, cold cut sandwiches, BLTs, burgers, pasta salad, fries etc. I haven't disliked anything. Their fries are a must get! Not sure why they're so good, but they are.As for the pricing, everything is under $10 which is great!Definitely check them out!“

“I was so happy to find Mucci's. For 60 years my Mom and I bought all our Italian food items at Latona's in Garfield. Sadly Joanne, the owner, decided to retire and we lost the very best Italian specialty items outside of Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. I was like a kid in a candy shop when I entered Mucci's; great selection of items, fast and friendly employees and the store is very neat, clean and well organized.
