“Ordered takeout:- Chocolate covered Strawberries (5/5)A) These travel beautifully well; B) The juicy, large strawberries enclosed in quality chocolate and a drizzle of white chocolate is the perfect way to end a meal. I would order these again in a heartbeat- Pistachio Waffle Stick (4/5)The pistachio topping, pistachio butter, and white chocolate drizzle made for a highly memorable combination of toppings. I would like to bottle up the pistachio butter they use. For takeout, the waffle did get soggy - somewhat like the bottom of an ice cream cone, and somewhat like choux pastry that's been sotting around. I prefer a fresh, crispy waffle component but this is the price you pay for takeout vs dining in store and having it fresh. Besides the waffle itself. This was a 5/5.“

Great tasting and not overly sweet or heavy. Perfect balance of freshness and flavor. This place really is one of best icream spots around.“

“Very cute spot and very lively! The service was VERY fast and well organized. It truly is chocolate heaven inside. The menu is extensive and they have many create your own options. I'd recommend eating there so that your crepe is hot. We took ours home, but next time we'll be staying! Their crepes are delicious and well stuffed. I just wish the crepe was cooked a BIT longer as it was a little bit too chewy and moist.“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Ice cream, milkshakes and gelato were delicious + great selection of flavors.My only gripe is that they have a mini cup option (smaller at $3.95) for ice cream, but not for gelato (larger option and $6.95).I hate throwing out food so she said she could give me a mini cup but for the larger price of $6.95 - which genuinely makes no sense. Why not offer the same mini size for gelato at the same price as the ice cream option??I had to throw out some gelato because I couldn’t finish it and it would’ve melted by the time we got home.“

“Always such a delight to eat at Friendly’s considering how many they closed up. Never go wrong with a Patty Melt( it was taken off the menu for a while but happy to see it back) , a fishamajig melt, or a BBQ tenders melt. Then to finish off with a sundae with the best peanut butter sauce . Our server Harvey is always the greatest . We only visit a few times a year but always remembers us and greets us with such enthusiasm. Highly recommended !“

“My husband brought me and my daughter here. The Gelato's where so delicious. I had a small cup of the strawberry cheesecake Gelato and my daughter had a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of vanilla bean. We will definitely come back again“

“Thank you to Sammy who handled customers with grace this evening (a Saturday evening in early April) where customers were lined up out the door! She was working alone and yet never stressed, lost her cool and worked tirelessly until everyone had their ice cream in hand. At a day and age where I wouldn't want my own daughter working alone, she was working tirelessly to ensure her customers were happy and didn't rush through despite the line behind her and anxiously awaiting customers. I was very impressed with her!!!“

“Great gelato flavors, great ice-cream and Italian ice. Classic flavors. However; I’m specifically here to rave about the cream puffs. They make the best cream puffs I have ever tasted. The fillings are absolutely amazing, fluffy. They are light and refreshing; and addicting. Highly recommend the pistachio flavor. I constantly crave these cream puffs, I go out of my way to get them, and send other people to get them for me. Great service as well, always very welcoming.“

“I have been purchasing desserts here for over 2 years. Excellent, elegant, truly gourmet French desserts. They are at the same level of quality as the fanciest French pastry shops in NYC. I have never been disappointed. The macarons are great. The small pastries melt in your mouth. I ordered desserts for Mother's Day last year and they were perfectly prepared. They are worth evey dollar.“

“Cute chocolate shop. Been around since the 1920's. They had a ton of Easter chocolates and candies to choose from. Expensive, but I heard the chocolate is delicious- bought things as gifts so I'm sure the recipients will enjoy! The place is narrow and being that it was the Friday before a holiday, it was crowded- I could have spent over an hour just looking around, but didn't have the time. Will have to go back another time! My friend pointed out they used to have a soda bar- now, the counter is filled with their products, and the old time stools were covered, up too- however, it would be amazing to bring that back.“

“Go here for amazing homemade ice-cream, Italian ice and soft serve! I love the fall favs and apple pie is to die for! It tastes like cinnamon ice-cream with little chunks of apple pie filling. I really love it! THERE ARE SO MANY FLAVORS!!! They carry pumpkin, banana and coconut seasonally which are my favs and sometimes hard to find. They even have Pineapple Dole Whip for all you fans that want to Pretend you are in a tropical island instead of the concrete jersey Jungle. The lines are long but they are quick to serve if the people in front can decide in time. They have little picnic benches on the front and side and sometimes the parking is tight but just park next door if it's after hours. Glad this gem is close to home. It's like I found a little Curlys but closer xoxo thanks for keeping it real (the bananas) it's bananas!“

“Same great ice cream as Boonton, same owners, pricing, everything. This one is open later into the year (December vs November). So why does Boonton get the extra star? Most of all: indoors. Shorter wait, faster service, and you wait in a conditioned space to avoid summer heat and winter cold. Also, you get to see each of the flavors before you order. Here, you just go by the list and hope you picked right. So call me spoiled, because I live next to the best ice cream in North Jersey and here is only second best. But the noise of Route 23 and nowhere to really sit and enjoy yourself - it gets to me. 5 star ice cream if you're taking out, but don't even think about eating in. Oh, and don't order Italian ice. My friend got lemon and it had a bunch of red bits in it and didn't taste like lemon. I'm biased on ice thanks to a certain lady in Elizabeth but thought I would pass on his words to you.“

“Been going to Dairy Queen forever - nearly 60 years in more than a few different states... This place is very different from other Dairy Queens - the ice cream is much better tasting, sundaes are better, blizzards taste better. It tastes like Dairy Queen tasted when I was a kid - brought back a lot of memories. Great services, very friendly. Others have mentioned the prices are high - my wife and I thought they were cheaper than other Dairy Queens we've been at and the portions were better.“

I got the toasted coconut and cappuccino chocolate chip flavors, and both were delicious but my favorite was the toasted coconut. It was very unique and there were so many toasted coconut bits! “We found this hidden gem ice cream shop at the time we visited nearby seafood restaurant nearby. We saw there was a long line standing in front of its window. My friends mentioned it's one of the best ice creams in local. Therefore we had to taste it. I ordered one scoop of mint flavor and one scoop of blackberry flavor. It tasted so creamy and I could feel the freshness blowing on my face. Because we just came back from our European trip, the ice cream from this shop reminded me of the ice creams we ate in Europe.“

“Rita's fan for many years. Unfortunately the few around us closed down. Glad we found this one which is a few minutes away from our son's school. We almost always get the mango gelati (mango water ice with soft serve custard. They taste the same no matter which one you go to. The custard is very rich and smooth and it may not sound like a good combo but it's great when combined with mango ice. It also became our 4 year old's favorite dessert. He actually doesn't care much about ice cream but he likes Rita's. Staff is always nice. They have benches in front of the parking spot which is pretty smart.“

I tried Marie’s on a whim after searching for a Dominican bakery in Paterson on google and I am BLOWN AWAY. Just look at how much filling in that slice!! The cake is light and delicious. The frosting , too. And the filling is FRESH pasta de guayaba. my husband is Dominican and his birthday cake was 10/10!! This is my new spot for Dominican cake.“
