“We used A Little Cake for our wedding cake and they truly were incredible to work with! They offered a cake tasting in person, gave us time to think and discuss, didn't rush us to make decisions at all. Their cakes are super moist, not overly sweet, and their designs are so special! “A simple local Turkish bakery. We along with couple other customers were given delicious cookie sample without asking. It has the hospitality feel reminisced of the good old bakery from childhood. Very reasonable prices. Variety is limited to several types of baklava, cookies and some breads as it’s a small place.“

“I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

“Despite its higher prices, I find myself coming back to this cafe. Why? TL;DR The quality, service, and ambiance are what sells me. The menu has a huge variety of drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, teas, refreshers, frappes, smoothies, cold brews, etc.). Drinks are strong and full of flavor. Nothing is watered down or overly sweet or bitter. -cold brew with sweet cream (chocolate and vanilla) - They make their sweet cream fresh on the spot and it tastes delicious! One of the best I've had. The only thing is that some baristas put way too much ice. 4/5 -hot honey rose latte - Wow, this drink surprised me! I tried it on a whim and enjoyed it. It has a light floral taste that pairs well espresso. 4/5 -oreo frappe - YUM! 5/5 -iced mocha - I would like it to be sweeter (I have a big sweet tooth). The espresso overpowered the chocolate. 3.5/5 -hot dulce de leche latte - A little disappointed with this ONLY because I didn't taste much of the dulce de leche :( It just tasted like a regular latte. 3/5 Their espresso is STRONG so if you want more sweetness ask for more pumps of flavor or milk. Onto the food...I've tried a couple of items and I would say that the prices are high for the portion size. I love that they make their food fresh but I'm not sure if I can justify the prices. Some items are worth it and some aren't. -fig open toast $10 - Mhmm this was yummy. The toast was crispy. The ricotta cheese was fluffy and paired well with the figs. The balsamic vinegar dressing drizzled on top was *chef's kiss* 5/5 -buffalo smash sandwich $10.50 - I have ordered this twice. The first time tasted better than the second time. 3.5/5 -the BP wake up breakfast sandwich w/ bacon, egg, cheese, hash brown $8.25 - The sandwich was good but it was nothing special. It's pretty small and I finished it quickly... This was around $8 and I don't think it's worth that price. 3/5 -stuffleufugus (stuffed waffle with eggs, sausage, cheese, and bacon) $10.25 - The waffle was fluffy and crispy but everything else just didn't hit for me... It was mostly egg and sausage inside. Not much bacon (which is my favorite) and cheese. I would try a more sweeter/dessert waffle next time. 3/5 -chavocado sandwich - Mehhhh. Average and not very flavorful. There was barely any chicken, bacon, or avocado... 2/5 BUT THE SERVICE? Amazing service here! The owner is very sweet and friendly. She seems to have a lot of regulars and is very personable. Staff is willing to accommodate and fix orders if it's not to your liking. They bring your order to your table if you dine in. If you order during peak rush hours (especially food), you might have to wait a bit longer (10-15 minutes) since everything is freshly made. If you want to avoid any wait times I recommend ordering online for pickup. Now for the ambiance... The cafe is brightly lit and spacious, but there isn't too much seating available. They have free wifi so you can study or work here, but it can get VERY loud and crowded. They have an open kitchen so you can hear the machines when they're making drinks. There is a "kiddie section" for younger children to play with toys. They play loud music BUT it is GREAT music. One morning they were playing some of my favorite salsa songs and another day they had on throwbacks from the early 2000s. It put me in such a good mood and made me wanna dance lol. I see this as more of a place to socialize with family and friends. BRING HEADPHONES/EARPHONES if you want to study or read. Overall this is definitely a place to check out! The biggest con is that the prices are on the higher end. Most of their drinks start at a minimum of $5 for the smallest size (12 oz) and can go up to almost $7 for the largest size (20 oz) before tax and tip. Their food ranges from $6-$13 and while I don't think the price justifies the portion sizes, you can be the judge! Sign up for their rewards program for discounts and freebies!“

“Delicious cakes and treats and they taste as good as they look! My family, friends and I have been getting custom cakes from Stephanie for many years. Her work never disappoints. I just give her a picture or a concept and she nails it every time! Some of my personal favs are the tres leche, funfetti carrot and champagne cake.“

“Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.“

“I cannot speak highly enough about the work that Michelle and Torre do!! I have used them for 3 events this summer now! I just kept finding reasons to order desserts from them! They provided the desserts for multiple different events (retirement party, bachelorette party, bridal shower) and knocked it out of the park each time. The attention to detail and their ability to bring my vision to life is out of this world!!! And even more importantly, everything they make is delicious!!! “***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors.In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front.The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“

“My friend and I walked in to Two Ladies right before they were closing for the day. (Hit traffic on the way there after work) The bakery is clean and modern. The woman that was working there was very friendly. Based on our late arrival, they were out of trubicky but we purchased a wide range of other delicious items. The chocolate covered cream puff can't be beat, it's one of the best cream fillings we've had in a dessert. The mosaic and brownie sandwich were also excellent. Baklava and another small chocolate filled item was also quite good. I'm looking to return for the trubicky.“

There are also so many sugar free options as well (keto) which is excellent. My husband is not gluten free nor super sugar conscious and also loves everything from here!A few things that would make this place better to consider: being closed Sunday and Monday is tough if that was mid week it would make my purchases probably 2x in frequency, can you sell mini sized cookies or cookies in 12 packs? Thats definitely one of the best items I would buy that weekly.“
