“Been to Mary Browns on the island, in Halifax, Ontario and Alberta...
Maybe its because this is the one i grew up with, could possibly be causing a bias.
The Mary Browns location in HG-GB is the best in the country in my opinion!
They have misplaced or forgotten items but are always supre quick to fix a mistake, this has to be one of the busiest locations of them all but they never take too long to get through a thousand orders!
Hands down, thumbs up, top notch however you want to put it, this restaurant is it!

“The most friendliest staff out of all restaurants in goose bay, these staff care for their customers, when I came to pick up an order one day, the chef/cook gave me the food himself. That’s how you know it’s a good restaurant. Their poutine, very thick and can pick it up with a fork. The whole thing, artery clogger imo. But their chicken souvlaki is just amazing. The salad has the perfect amount of dressing, the rice is a little dry sometimes and the chicken is sometimes cooked for too long, not burnt though. But that’s what I like about the chicken, the browning adds flavour, yes I know that’s from the griddle, but it tastes amazing. The atmosphere is a bit dark, more lights can be turned on but I barely eat in, so it doesn’t really bother me. I definitely recommend stopping by this place if you’re in town.”

“The first time I ordered a Canadian Bacon and egg on an English muffin. What I got was a Canadian bacon with cheese, no egg, on a homestyle biscuit.20 minutes later I ordered the same thing and got an English muffin, regular bacon almost cooked, an egg with 3 pieces of broken eggshell in it.”

“Staff are super friendly and helpful! Food is usually pretty good but there are times where you will get not so great lettace or something like that but it's usually only a piece or two. They do their best to keep everything fresh but it's definitely hard to do when the closest place to get fresh produce is over 6 hours away. Defiantly a good meal though and worth going to in a pinch”

“No original chicken, can't order from KFC online. Only chicken burger and chicken strips but fresh cooked, better taste than many other KFC's if ok with burgers.”

“Quaint pub. The Belgian Beer is advertised as a shock top... it has slice of Orange floating. Seems to be popular in Goose Bay, as its the second time I've had this. Tastes nice. Not a lot of food but the Broccoli Shooters were interesting.”
