*** Update ***Sadly, the standards here seemed to have dropped significantly. Whereas it was always my single go-to dining place whenever I visited St John’s, the visit today was terribly disappointing.I’m not sure if they have changed their French baguette supplier but the « baguette » today was not even a baguette; it was just a regular bread bun. My banh mi was served with warm fillings but in an untoasted, cold bun. There was no crust to speak off, the bun texture was powdery, crumbly and it was plain soggy. Mind you, I was dining in so there was no excuse for the cold, soggy bun.I had gone there with a carrier bag with an intention to order 5 takeouts for colleagues but instead left empty-handed because none of my colleagues, tasting today’s banh mi, would have believed any of the compliments that I had previously heaped on 3 Sisters. It was an utter disappointment.

It used to be super good, quality went down really quick. I want to be a loyal buyer but why is my sandwich low key empty sometimes? Unfortunate time to be alive

Pretty good banh mi sandwiches but expensive. Fair I guess since banh mi does not look to be popular in this area yet. I’m used to the more affordable ones in Ontario but quality is still very good.

This restaurant is an absolute dive. I ate the food here last week, and got so sick, I nearly had to get my stomach pumped. Maybe it was the rats in the bread!

Servers are so kind every time I'm here! I actually watched one of the workers scrub the oven and clean the bread display by hand. I have always only seen this place as very clean and delicious! I was sad to learn they no longer serve salad rolls but the subs are just as good, and the hot milk tea is perfect for a cold winter day!Edit - Figured I should mention no rat dropping! I even used the restroom while I was here and It was clean!Vegetarian options: The tofu is amazing!

A genuine cause for concern. Rat droppings all over the food storage areas, display cases, and in the food! Extremely concerned that this hasn’t been closed down as a health hazard yet. Please refrain from eating here for the sake of your own health!!!
The restaurant is infested with rats. Rat dropping everywhere including inside the food and display cases also they use expired ingredients. I saw the TikTok it would make anyone sick and I ate there last week. ??

Oh. Beef Sate Sub! What did I do to deserve you!! Simple, but so delicious! Just randomly stopped in after the Santa Claud parade, vaguely wanting a hot cup of tea & something out of the usual fare. Had the beef sate sub & a unsweetened hot hazelnut milk tea. Definitely will be back for sane & to work my way thru the menu! (Will post pictures next time!)

A little less, actually a lot less meat this time. Very friendly staff and food was very tasty but the main ingredient was a little hard to find. The chicken lemon grass was good and a good portion of chicken but the beef was scarce. We will definitely return as it is very good but please don’t skimp too much on the meat as customers may shy away next time.
I’m a big Vietnamese sub fan. In my hometown I have a place I go to for my craving but it’s not “omg I love it”. Have yet to find that. Made a small visit to St. John’s and found out they had no Vietnamese restaurant I was shocked, but knew there was 3 sisters from a friend. This is “omg this is amazing “ sub I ever had. The flavour in every bite especially the beef one was bursting in every bite, I taste all the spice especially the lemongrass ?. My husband and I liked it so much we went back again the next day for more before we left the island. I hope this makes its way to Calgary one day. Nice work 3 Sisters!
