This bar ued to be a favorite of mine and my mom's to go to every summer. Unfortunately the service there now is horrible. Even a simple drink mishap had turned into an unnecessary exchange. The bartender was snarky and rude over a simple soda not tasting right. It ruined the experience of me going there again. I find if your not with *in* crowd their, they will treat you diferently. *inclusive* and friendly was not the case. Don't bother going there if you want friendly service. Lots of other bars that would go the extra mile for their customers.

I've been to many pubs over the years and honestly this has to be the worst place I've ever visited in St. John's Newfoundland. Extremely rude customer service and had a drink that taste like a rubber boot. These businesses are always complaining about how they need more people to come downtown but when you get service like I got I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog. Honesty is important and this is my review.

The manager was screaming at a friend of my. He was trying to provoke my friend to hit him. The manager then kicked my friend out. The manager created a hostile environment. I was actually intimidated by him.

Our bartender Snata made us this cocktail called The goddess. Staff here is friendly. Good wine selection. A few days later we visited for wine and we talked to Danielle who told us some cool places to visit.

Nice little place in the pedestrian mall in St.johns. Great patio couches outside to people watch and have a cold drink or four. We will go back again.

We had a stopover in St John’s yesterday and my French speaker colleague (Which is loved by my entire company) came out for a beer…. the young pregnant waitress did not ask him for his vaccination certificate (which he did have) she preceded to call the police instead!! He was sooo shocked!!! When he asked her why she did that….She told him that she’d had had problems with other visitors from various parts of the world ….He is French and In their conversation he said she was very very racist racist and rude!!!Needless to say he left the beer and left this joint!!! My company comes to St. John’s quite a bit, but I will ensure no one ever comes to this joint!!!I myself have been to St. John’s many times and love the people here!!! Oh
